The workers seemed stressed, they were very unfriendly and not that helpful, especially when I'm pushing a wheelchair I was hurried through security trying to push the wheelchair and grab all the stuff out of the bins.

Sufficient time should be scheduled on Monday mornings (4:30 a.m.). The security check in particular costs a lot of time!
The toilets are clean and there are plenty of shops and restaurants (more in the security area). The processes are relatively straightforward.

The loading and unloading gestapo at this airport make you feel like a criminal. I ve had to endure their wrath helping my pregnant wife with our toddler and a friend in a wheelchair.
Talk about power trip.

Still a great airport to fly in and out. Baggage claim took 12 minutes from the time I got off the flight and Delta had 4 flights arrive within 45 minutes with ours being the last. More restaurants open than what you see at other airports too.

I think this might actually be the nicest airport I have ever flown into in terms of sheer options of flights, restaurants, shopping, etc. And this place is CLEAN!

There are lots of local hot spots that have their own locations in this airport, like Blue Star Donuts. The light rail is conveniently located in this airport and it's easy to get to.

I have no complaints!

This airport is so huge and pretty! It also contains endless amounts of shops and restaurants so you're never bored. There's also really clear signs so you don't get lost. It is also the cleanest airport I've ever been to.

I use to travel a lot and PDX was always much better than the competition. Few other airports have such a nice selection of microbrews and winetasting. They even have a powells books which is always nice to browse before a flight.

I never like actually going to the airport but PDX is one of the best I have been to. It's always clean and I never have to wait in line for very long if at all. Also the selection of stores and restaurants is great. I can always find somewhere great to eat if I need to catch a good meal before my flight.

I love this airport. The size is manageable. There are kiosks that let you check in from any airline, if for some reason you don't check in online. The security is fairly fast and friendly. The food options are decent (not great). There are often creative things going on like musicians playing, sculptures on display, etc.

PDX is a nice medium size airport. It is easy to get in and out of. The TSA lines are not to long and move fast. There is usually plenty of short term and long term parking at a reasonable rate.

I have been to a decent amount of airports and I LOVE this airport. There is a very large selection of food before and after security (I recommend stopping at blue star donuts if you can!). The TSA PRE check line is fast and efficient. There are tons of shops after security as well as some form of live music. Lastly, there is air conditioning, free WiFi, and adequate places to charge your phone. Oh, and no sales tax for anything in the airport (which applies to Portland as well). Overall definitely one of my top airports, can t wait to visit again!

In and out. No security line, low people traffic. They need to do a much better job of marking which security is closed and where to next. Only from my trip up there a few months ago did I know and lead others who where circling in confusion.

Voted best airport in America for multiple years. Free Wi-Fi, great food and shopping, filtered water stations. They could still use more places to charge devices, but what airport couldn't? Overall, they are at one end of the spectrum, and LGA is at the other.

I always liked pdx and that is a good thing. I fly usually once every week. But over the last 10 years things have deteriorated somewhat. Still a fine airport but maybe not a great one.
The express security line feels neglected. The TSA pre is the new cool. The express lane frequently shares a queue with general queue for some of the queue.
Would it cost TSA anything to say please and smile. I understand the authority they wield but I fail how common courtesy can detract here.
On the c terminal, Henry's Tavern spreads a strong burned meat smell. Even as a non vegetarian, I don't like it. And the smell sticks to your clothes.

What do I like? Drop off and pick up on the curb side is easy. Distances are short. Public transportation to town is great. The building is clean and lofty.

Nice airport and facilities. Only complaint is with TSA and I couldn't figure out how to review them. My wife got a brand new pair of shoes and the tsa folks decided to remove them from the tub during security screening and lay them on their side on the dirty conveyor belt, ruining the shoes.

There are major issues with making payments for short term parking. The machines broke this morning and PDX held drivers waiting to leave for over half an hour although we were willing to pay, meanwhile racking up time in the meters. I don't usually leave reviews, but as this is the second time in the past couple of months the machines have malfunctioned and I've been stuck inside, I see this is a recurring problem.

I have to start by saying I had an 8 hour delay due to fog, and we decided to stay at the airport. The airport is very well kept and bright. It's quite big but the walk was not that bad as they had moving conveyors make the trip quick. There is a mini movie theater where short films are played that have been made in Oregon. The food selections are vast and not very pricey. There is a lounge that has very comfy chairs and a few statues.

I only give one star because a supervisor in the suitcase area was the only one who offered help. This will be a bit long, but I hope and it will help someone. On Monday, July 29, I had my flight at 5:20 PM. I arrived at 3:30 at the airport. My suitcase was checked and I went to the security area. All right ... until one of the officers stopped me to check my chest because my "blouse with glitters" looked suspicious. I did not mind being checked, but it made me feel like a criminal. I felt totally embarrassed with the other passengers who were passing by my side. The Officer thought she was hiding something in my brazier. After that, I could not find one of my backpacks that contained makeup. After several minutes waiting, barefoot, without my cell phone and documents, one of the officers told me that I had to wait for them to check my backpack. I mentioned that I was in a hurry, I still had some time to board the plane. Which apparently these officers did not care about ANYTHING at all. The reason why they made me wait for my backpack? . FOR A SIMPLE BODY LOTION. I told the officer to throw what he wants, but to hurry because I had to run to my flight! . Total, it was not worth running like crazy for half the airport to finally lose my flight. To top it off, my suitcase if he went on the plane to Ontario. I spoke to the Alaska airline and my only options were: pay $ 125 for a flight on Wednesday, July 31 OR if I canceled my flight I would have to pay $ 300. Appalling. I had no choice but to pay the $ 125 dollars. On Tuesday I tried to communicate again with the airline Alaska, and what do you think happened? THEY HANGED ME They are pickpockets. And it should be clear that I am an American citizen. Totally dissapointed. That's why I've decided to put a comment here, hoping to get lucky for someone who will take my case seriously.

Busy this morning for Southwest. Lines were long and hard to social distance. Most people were wearing masks but many were not. My mother boarded her plane and the middle seats were empty but otherwise a full flight. No one there wiping buttons in elevators etc tho.

It's a big airport. Easy to get lost. Not enough signs leading to baggage claim from Alaska Airlines. If you go in a restroom, you can easily get confused as to where you go from there.

Grungy airport with unhelpful attendants. Alaska Air moved our flight 15 mins before boarding to a gate at the opposite end of the airport. I watched workers ignore an elderly lady who seemed confused, and have to be helped by other travelers.

It will always be my home airport no matter where I move to. Yes, it's smaller than other main airports but it's laid out really well, and there's a lot of good food there from local vendors.
