Our mother's funeral was supervised in a very professional, but also very empathetic way by funeral director Astrid ten Oever.
How lucky we were with Astrid. She put the speeches and music together beautifully and was always available for questions and assistance. At my funeral I choose her again. But that will take a while.
My husband's funeral was out of the ordinary. He didn't want an auditorium or music.
The employees of PC Uitvaart have listened to my (or rather his) wishes and created a nice farewell moment that did justice to my husband.

How can you make so many simple mistakes in such a short time and manage to respond completely after an email with all "problems" as if we were the cause.
Furthermore, it makes no sense to elaborate on this because the fact that we have been proved right on various points in our argument says enough about the general manner of handling.
We do not give 0 stars because that would mean that they would also have exchanged the deceased and not 1 star because everyone sometimes makes a mistake.

My mother passed away May 5 and at the age of 89. My father 8 years ago. Both were insured against death and had taken out various policies over the years. Ultimately, all policies were placed with PC, later with Reaal who takes care of the benefits so that you are free to choose a funeral company. Since we had a good experience with guiding the death of my father and the cremation at PC, we decided to also have the cremation of our mother taken care of via PC. The first contact regarding reporting the death was fine and understanding. Shortly afterwards, a personal appointment was made at the Westgaarde office to discuss the cremation wishes. Due to Cornona this would normally go through a video conference, but we were very happy that this could take place in person. Corina was our funeral companion and when we arrived there was an immediate click. Understanding, empathy, caring and warm was the conversation. Corina guided us through the steps in the process and also ensured that the wishes were discussed as well as possible and clearly, and, however annoying that may be, kept an eye on the costs and guided us well in this. Very good was the way in which we could keep control of the ceremony and super is the model that we used to add photos and music ourselves and thus create a nice farewell ceremony. Corina has also guided us very well in this and together we went through the script the day before the cremation
The day itself, we and the family were well guided and the ceremony itself was carried out with a lot of time and attention. The farewell with some family members who together folded the dress in the coffin and flowers lay on Mother before closing the lid on the coffin was beautiful and solemn. Then came the light ceremony where we all lit candles around the box to the accompaniment of music. The whole process made us feel like we were able to say a dignified goodbye to our mother. It must also be said that the contact after the ceremony and the days after it is highly appreciated
Corina, thanks to your commitment, empathy, warmth, insight, guidance, we were able to say goodbye to our mother.
