I can only try to express my absolute confidence and satisfaction in the team at Somerton Computing. I had an extremely nasty infection on my laptop (which is still under warranty). Naturally I was nervous about handing it over. I shouldn't have been as these guys are real professionals, they are knowledgeable, informative, courteous and damn good at what they do.

Nothing is too much trouble, which is more than I can say about the problem on my laptop.

It's reassuring to know that there are still companies around that actually genuinely care about their customers. I fully recommend Somerton Computing.

I have always had a fantastic experience with Somerton Computing. Their team are friendly, polite, and have great integrity. They've worked on small small one-off computer repair and upgrade jobs for me, as well as larger more complex projects. Their communication throughout is always excellent. Most recently I called upon them to provide in-home support for an elderly friend who lived alone and needed an inexpensive, and uncomplicated solution to watch the same television programme in two rooms so that if he was too tired or ill to move from one room to the other he would still be able to watch his programmes. A major television subscription provider had advised him he needed to buy a second HD receiver box, have high-speed broadband installed (he doesn't have (or know how to use) any internet connected devices so doesn't currently have broadband), and increase his monthly subscription substantially. I spoke with Somerton Computing and within a very short time-frame they'd devised and installed a solution for a one-off (and low) cost solution with no need for second receivers, broadband, or an increase in subscription. Excellent service, and a team I trust entirely.

I took my Apple computer into Somerton Computing because the PC was continually stopping dead, and could only be revived by a re-boot. The very friendly staff kept it in for 24 hours during which time they - as they put it - "worked it hard." They found no fault, and refused all payment. Amazing. How often does that happen?
(The fault turned out to be a faulty Plusnet router, and not the first one of theirs to fail on me. Cured by a switch to Zen Internet and lo! and behold!! no further problems.)

Visiting UK from Australia and sadly my laptop didn t travel too well. Steve and the team from Somerton Computing couldn t have been more helpful.

Unfortunately, the laptop was past repair so they transferred my hard drive into a refurbished Acer, had me up and running again within a few hours.

Everything was done at a very affordable cost and importantly, with no loss of data.

As a freelance writer and researcher, I m highly dependent on my laptop, so very impressed by Somerton Computing s depth of knowledge and commitment to customer service.

I bought my laptop from here quite a few years ago (6+) and it's been a solid performer until recently when the screen went, I took it to them on Monday and got it back Wednesday morning fully functional. They even serviced it for me, it looks and runs like new!!!! I'm really impressed by the great service.
