We had a behavioral consult. I have six dogs. They gave me great tips on working on all the barking at the house and helping my dane who is scared of new people, places, sounds and things. Will be signing up for the reactive dog training class.

We adopted a dog in April, 2020. She came to us as her 3rd home, and highly anxious and semi-reactive. She spent the first few classes barking. We re now finishing our second set of classes and she doesn t bark, is focused, greets everyone properly, and is more confident and less anxious. Man am I thankful for all of the work. Most of the class is training us to teach her and helping us learn her signals. We are so happy to have her and love her even with her anxiety, but it s nice to see her be confident and successful in these classes! Can t wait for more! Give them a try, but also put the work in outside of your class. 10-20 minutes a day makes a world of difference!

This is my 2nd dog going through classes at Pawsitive. Where I feel I have a good background on training it's the atmosphere and reminders of what to do with my puppy that I come here for. I feel the most important thing for my puppy is happy interaction with others trying to do the same. Once we graduate puppy class we will take a Canine Good Citizen course. I think every dog should have one of these, just good things for you and your pup.

Best place to go if you have a reactive dog. The amount of training time you get compared to the price is really good, and the training is specific to what your dog needs. Your dog gets to meet people and see new dogs in a controlled setting with the trainers so they can learn to be calm. My rescue was very fearful of dogs and people when I first adopted her and the reactive dog class greatly improved her behavior around both. I was amazed at how much progress she made, especially going from being nervous and jumpy around strangers to being super friendly with them!
