I've volunteered for Paw Placement for a few years now. The volunteers here care about the animals more than anything in the world. They are dedicated to finding the perfect home for the animals, who are all in loving foster homes. With this comes the knowledge of what the right home is for each animal. Sometimes people get upset and lash out when they are told that a dog is not the right fit for their home, but isn't the point to save the animals and not the feelings of potential adopters? If you want to adopt a dog and don't want to listen to expert advice on what dog is right for you, go to the county shelter or the humane society.

Try being a bit nicer, less condecending to the people who show up at your event. We stopped by to ask some general questions on the adoption process and the response we received was beyond rude. A friendlier approach would go a long way in receiving more donations and potential for adoptions. Only reason for 2 stars is due to the guy with the camera took a few minutes to tell us about his foster dogs. Whoever leads this group needs to brush up on their people skills.

Of course all the cats are beautiful. The reason for the 3 stars is because the site's search engine doesn't work well. It notifies of plenty cats for adoption but 98% are from all over the nation. So it makes trying to be notified of local cats limited . I responded to 3 cats and yet never heard back with a response. It's a shame the site doest have a better in site search engine and notification of local cats for adoption .I know it says it does, but facts are that it may show a few, but hundreds are in far away places. Why they do not reply to my desire to adopt the couple of local cats is not right

I recently adopted a 3 month old puppy through Paw Placement. The foster did a great job teaching him some basic skills and he seemed to be a happy puppy from the minute we met. Tammy was very helpful and took care to make sure i'd be a good fit for my little guy. The process was very easy and my dog is in great health. Would recommend to anyone looking to adopt.

Met with Tamara, she sprayed the puppy in the face, yanked him around by collar and yelled at him, and used fear mongering tactics to "train" the dog. I would not recommend this place, they are mean to the dogs and disrespectful to the people looking to adopt.

Ok, I adopted my cat Lena from Paw Placement in 2004, so the staff probably changed....however I'm disappointed in those folks that gave this organization a single star!!! Why? Because if the lady is rude and mean to you or the animals...you should WANT to get that poor defenseless creature into a safe home!! Jeez...I had mine for 14 years. If you walked away then you must not have cared about giving the animal a better home. Shame on You!!!

We got our puppy from Paw Placement and we are suuuuper happy! We got a perfect new family member. We were treated right from the beginning till the adoption and even after. If we had question they answered right back! Simply amazing and great! Again Thank you sooo much for your work and for finding our little man!

Considered adopting a dog from paw placement. Lady in charge, I think was extremely rude and said the dogs need to be crated. I explained we do not crate our dogs and she asked if I minded if the dogs chewed up our couches and asked about ever leaving the dogs alone. I would NEVER recommend paw placement. We will get our next dog from the humane society or Maricopa animal control. She has absolutely NO people skills!!! Stick with walking the animals!!
