For a guy who doesn't have room, it's a pleasant surprise. Everything is well organized, you can learn the different types of animals there. Employees are relevant and keep us entertained. Good game.
Employees who guide us rather than iPads. Really great!
Well for what's inside, but as far as the outside is concerned, the pens are very dirty and very badly scented. Very disappointed with the outside visit.
Possibilities to approach some animals very closely and even to flatter them. Nice family outing !!!
I am a tour guide to this beautiful place which is worth visiting over 30 dioramas with families of North American wildlife in exceptional paintings!
Very interesting! We had the owner to do the tour, we were treated to extras "anecdotes to him".
With mr couture the visit is really cool he has his animals at heart and a passionate
The living conditions of animals are very difficult. The pens are small, of poor quality, the smell of excrement is strong, finally, there is much to do to improve the lives of these poor creatures, see release or place elsewhere I regret the visit and to have encouraged this center
The guided interior visit (stuffed animals) is excellent and very interesting. It's well worth the price. *** I see many people who leave negative notes on live animals and their condition .... This is not at the wildlife pavilion, but in front. It's not the same owner. So your negative notes are not in the right place.
Honestly shocked that this facility has as many stars as it does. Staff are friendly and all that, but the living conditions of the animals was absolutely horrendous, I have no idea how people are able to look past it, i left feeling terribly depressed for the animals.
The interior decor is great. One would think to see the animals in the nature. Largest private collection of naturalized North American animals from Canada. The outdoor zoo leaves something to be desired. There are cages too small for my taste and the animals look unhappy. I would visit the museum but not the zoo.
I don't like the interior anymore ..wow .. the exterior more for the children
A well kept secret. The whole family can observe raccoons, foxes, wolves, bears, lynx, cougars, elk, goats, etc. in cages outside and also stuffed animals inside.
Ok, but too expensive for the experience offered. The museum is very beautiful, but $ 20 + TX per adult is not worth it. In the end we were more excited by the nirvana of wildlife, where we see live animals, and run by enthusiasts, for $ 14.5. And not to mention that having a youngster who is just starting out as a guide is very good, but in this case not at the rate of the senior guide. Mixed results.
Very nice guided tour explaining all about local animals
A great outdoor experience. You can walk among animals and be in contact with them. This wild fauna enthusiast is very kind and will make you live an unforgettable moment
Thanks to M. Couture for the nice visit !!! We learn so much! You are passionate people ...
Great contact with the animals but I find it a bit unsanitary: /
Beautiful place and owner very attentive and passionate, very beautiful educational museum!
Both the museum part and the refuge, it was great visits! I loved being able to touch animals
Very nice welcome, superb museum But very disappointed by the visit of the captive animals really uncomfortable at the sight of the conditions in which they are herded. Sorry but it's sordid
Wow! Wonderful day! My daughter (2 1/2 years) loved it! Truly a unique experience. It's not everywhere that you can handle animals. The owner was really nice. An absolutely beautiful place to visit! I highly recommend :)
Fantastic visit, the kids loved this activity. The people who work there are passionate, and that still makes it fun. During the guided tour, the manager teaches us about the animal in question, but also raises awareness in relation to the various consequences of human actions. Very interesting, I highly recommend it.
Horses with extremely long hoofs longer than employ said they would not prune for 5 weeks, a goat that only stands on one front knee (hurt and careless), really small pen with no lawn There are trees for most of the animals, a lot of waiting for the interior visit with "instructors" who keep saying that we should not make noise and that the children are turbulent, we waited longer than to visit more than 'there is no food or drink on site
Nice visit that will please both adults and children.
Animals in small empty cages without grass. Only dry earth surrounded by a cage.
Very nice museum. The guides are encyclopedias on their exhibition.
I loved my visit! For $ 12 I took in my arms a raccoon, a ferret, a skunk. I flattered Bambi. I was given kisses by a bear. And I saw lots of other animals up close. There are picnic tables on the water's edge. My only complaint is that I wonder how often they clean the pens. And the girl who made us visit could not answer several questions, it was not long since she was working there.
Very poorly identified, very few animals, Too expensive, do not bother This moved for that.
Is cool too see the animals they have but some baby bunnies were trampled by goats and my kids saw them die. The cages themselves are small and dad for the animals. I question their happiness...
Great family visit. My 3 year old daughter loves animals and she was able to take a raccoon, a skunk, a rabbit and pet wolf babies. At the end of the visit, there is a large enclosure with goat and rabbit, another place where my daughter had a lot of fun. However, there are a lot of animal droppings on the way during the visit. Bring a change of boots or shoes so that your car does not get dirty. We did not visit the section of naturalized animals which seems very interesting too.
We got a guided tour by reservation, being in the off-season regular opening area. We had the pleasure of meeting, the founder, builder and owner of the Pavilion, a passionate man and expert loving Canadian wildlife, who kindly served us as a guide on this rainy Sunday. We were a group of 14 people and this visit was unanimous, a hidden pearl to discover and is really worth seeing if you pass in the region.
Really great. I did not expect this. At the beginning I thought it was expensive but suitable for the visit ... It's not expensive at all and even, I'll go back.
A great little place to see the animals up close. I strongly advise it !
I still do not understand why it's still open? The animals are left to themselves, it smells strong, the pens are very small and the one that annoyed the panther to make it roar well I would gladly throw in the cage .. poor beast
We have been fortunate to observe animals that we do not see often but the conditions in which these animals live leaves something to be desired. No vegetation in the enclosure or very little depending on the enclosure, wild animals in the strong sun no shade or little. I do not recommend this place for these reasons and also for the health of some
Great afternoon with families ...... outdoor guided tour by the owner super interactive with the children .... and very educational indoor guided tour .... I will go back as soon as I come back around ... .
So much a place that I love to visit! Very warm welcome from Mr Couture at the end of last week who opened the place only for us (something I did not know when booking!) The girl who showed us around was really in the right place: we can see that she knows what she is talking about and that she has a great passion for animals. I also really enjoyed learning the history of each animal. Many are survivors, and I find it great. Thank you !
Great experience, the proximity to the animals is great! Thank you to the owner, a very kind and passionate man !!
Really much smaller than the zoo but much better personally
Thank you Mr. Couture for the wonderful experience.
