In general, these are beautiful and good instruments. I had a problem with a 513 and this is the surprise, they do not listen to you! They find it very difficult to take responsibility, in the event of a known problem at home! I sold this guitar explaining the problem to the buyer ... I just lost 2000 euros in this adventure but it does not bother anyone obviously.

These guitars above superb, wether it's an SE or a private stock 10 top they will not let you down with the SE models you a solid road worthy guitar that don't break the bank and as you move up the line they not only get better they become playable gigable works of art that don't let you down. simply put Paul Reed Smith guitars are the cream of the crop and play like butter... just be ready because if you play one you'll own one a few minutes later!
The best guitar I ever bought, both of my PRS guitars. Simply wonderful guitars. After buying a CE24 And a Silver Sky I have lost the desire to buy other guitars. My G.A.S. Is gone!!!! Guitar players know what this means....get a PRS and lose your GAS ! ....Except for maybe THAT VIOLET BURST semi hollow special! Mmmmm.
I own 2vprs guitars SE standard 24, and just purchased the T50E it wil be here thursday cant wait. Top of line Guitar makers none better in my opinion. I would love to work here after seeing the care and love that goes into the production of these masterpieces I want to be part of it..
Stellar Tour! Exceeded Expectations! Thank you Hunter and PRS staff!
My husband scheduled a tour for our family of six for our oldest daughter's 16th birthday. Not only was the visit/tour of PRS factory one of the most incredible family outings we have ever had, it is also one of the most artistically enriching, educational, engaging, and almost 90 minutes long!
Our tour guide, Hunter, had just gotten in from Boston on a red-eye due to an east coast storm over Thanksgiving holiday travel time. Poor guy was absolutely beat! Red eyes indeed. Instead of cancelling, he was on-time and primed for presenting all that is done at PRM from acquisition of materials (that maple is to die for!!!) to shaping, inlays, glue, application of hues and placement of electronics to testing, quality control, etc.
Our four young kiddos are really interested in music, and this was quite an education, as well as an inherent peek into the makers who produce these elusive guitars (you cannot buy they straight from the factor floor, so don't even try!). Despite my lack of musical bent, I was hanging on every word. Hunter graciously answered all our questions (thrown at him by our brood in belt-fed fashion) and allowed us to ask the artisans questions, watch them hone their craft, and even offered asides into how each and every completed guitar bears the names of the craftsmen (and women!) who's hands contributed to the finished piece.
I can't say enough about the tour guide or the tour itself. Something any native Marylander would take pride in, particularly someone from Southern Maryland. Not only was the tour beyond informative, it was also a rare day out that cost us nothing, filled our senses (the smell of the wood is intoxicating), and will be remembered with great enthusiasm!!!
Thank you so much Hunter and PRS staff! Now if I could only stop my husband from stalking your library collection of guitars online after that stellar tour....
Absolutely amazing experience. My wife surprised me today with a trip to PRS. Paul walked up and said "Hi, I'm Paul." He chatted with us for a few minutes and went back to doing his thing. I can't believe the attention to detail that goes into every single guitar. Paul, his staff and instruments are top notch! And the tour was free, what an amazing experience.
This place is awesome, I did a tour and was impressed with the quality of the guitars they produce here. Carlos Santana buys his guitars here, need I say more.
Let me start by saying that I never write reviews - I was never moved to express my opinion online about any company, but today I must make an exception. Matt King, the customer service representative at Paul Reed Smith Guitars went above and beyond in standing behind their product.
A few months ago I purchased a PRS guitar, one of their entry level instruments, and I enjoyed it immensely. After a while, however, I noticed, a relatively minor flaw that I felt could easily be taken care of by any competent luthier. I had heard about their PTS department, the in house repair shop, so I gave them a call and spoke with Matt King, the customer service representative.
At Matt's suggestion, my wife and I accepted his invitation to visit PRS while he had my guitar serviced on the spot. We toured the plant, and we had ample opportunity to ask questions see how the people, their expertise and craftsmanship make these remarkable instruments and amplifiers come together. Our guide, Sean, was exceptional in giving us a real behind the scenes tour of the entire manufacturing process.
We again met with Matt at the end of the tour. He had looked into the repair of my guitar, but he felt it did not meet their exacting standards of manufacturing. He then presented me with a new guitar, the same model but a step up in desirability, at no cost to me. I was just floored.
Not only were we wowed by the expertise and hospitality of everyone from the receptionist to the head of acoustics to the PRS amplifier guru, but we were treated like royalty by their customer service department. I cannot wait to tell everyone about our wonderful experience, and I only wish that more companies would follow their model. They have earned a customer for life.
I ve been working at PRS for almost a few months and have nothing but good things to say. The workplace is fun to be at. We have a bunch of fun social event s, breakfast donut s every Friday. That s just a couple off the top of my head. You can tell Paul and the team really care about the employee s and work that goes into EVERY guitar that s made. I m fortunate to work in a fun non stressful work environment!
If PRS guitars had been around in the 70s when I bought my first electric guitar I would have never bought the Gibsons and Fenders I had in the years since. I recently purchased a CE 24 and am smitten. It s the most versatile guitar I ve ever played. Nothing but PRS electric guitars for me from now on.
My family and I took a tour here and man, I loved it. Only me and my dad are guitar people, but my brother and mom both still really enjoyed the tour. I love their guitars and understand the processes that they go through. They put in so much effort, time, and love into every part of the guitars. They inspect everything they sell, even the guitars that aren't made in this factory. They actively work to make every guitar better. I am and will be a PRS customer for my entire life. They put the same quality into the cheaper series as the more expensive ones.
Finally purchased one of their beautiful guitars after playing for 21 years. I must say, it is absolutely one of the most amazing instruments that I have ever played!! It is the marriage of beauty and rock crushing tone!! I'm so happy to be the proud owner of a product made be happy folks who love their craft!
