I am a lighting consultant who has worked alongside Paul and his team on a wide variety of projects, ranging from small renovations to major new construction, residential to retail and commercial. He and his staff are all very detail-oriented and collaborative, with great creative vision and a clear passion for their profession, which are inspiring qualities and a pleasure to engage. Their many long-standing client relationships are ample testament to the quality of the end results and the value of the process. I particularly appreciate that Paul mentors many young and emerging professionals early in their careers -- a stint in his office is a feather in any resume.

I had the unpleasant opportunity to have a professional relationship with Paul and I feel bad for people that work for him. The only reason the project was completed at all is due to the people he has tricked into working for him. If you are thinking about working with this firm, don't. Instead, just take all that money and spend it on vodka, drink it all in one night that way you might get some small amount of the value you have to throw away to work with PLA.

I can't say enough good things about working with Paul and the quality of the design he did for us. Twenty years ago we hired him to customize the interior of a home that was under construction. I picked Paul because I saw a sample of his work in a book and loved his design philosophy - modern, asymmetrical with warm colors and wood. During the design process he constantly solicited my input and I constantly told him to do what he wanted. The result was fabulous and to this day, guests comment on how beautiful our home is. Great design has staying power.
Not only do we love the work he did, but our home was featured in the Boston Globe architecture section.
If I had to do things over again, I'd hire Paul in a nanosecond.

Despite the very odd review of PLA by "Jack Slinger"(?) and his vodka, we'd like you to know that we had a very positive experience with Paul Lukez and his colleagues in the design and building of our beautiful, award-winning, house.
