Wonderful, friendly dutch gentleman. Very helpful and even wrapped purchases as gifts! Great selection of merchandise and souvenirs.

I asked politely to the guy behind the in Dutch if he speaks Dutch. (Because I am from Holland but I speak Dutch, English and Portuguese ) HE SAID : YOU STUPID DUTCH!!! I DONT NEED TO SPEAK DUTCH, I AM FROM BARCELONA AND I PAY TAX!! I said no in a tourist shop English is okay and then he said again: YOU STUPID DUTCH!!!! 5 TIMES!!! AND WENT ON AND ON???!!! I said I will go to the police! Why do you speak like that to a good client? He said: YOU GO TO THE POLICE, I DONT CARE!! So I left the shop with my friend and did not buy the stuff I really wanted because of him. And then I did go to the police to tell my story. Why does a Spanish guy that works at a shop in Amsterdam Leidseplein has to shout 5 times YOU STUPID DUTCH!! So hereby duly noted.

Barbie could not have been more wrong, the staff at this souvenir shop is extremely friendly & helpful. They helped me find the right gifts for my family and when we were checking out they suggested a great restaurant to eat in the nine little streets... Nice traditional decoration, with delft blue tables in the middle and warm and friendly atmosphere... Best place to buy your souvenirs in Amsterdam!

There are also special things, different from other souvenir shops
