Very good wine shop with a wide an huge variety of wines in all kinds of different price ranges, very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this shop if you're looking for a good and/or special wine. Bought a beautiful Pinot Noir here.

This is my favorite wine shop in Amsterdam. They have a small but great selection. They have plenty of high and mid range in terms of price, but even their less expensive wines are pretty good. An added bonus is they have some pretty competent staff. One tall blond woman--I am forgetting her name--is quite knowledgeable.
Best place in this neigborhood for great wines and advice about that, delicious sandwiches and also very handy for small groceries. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Exceptional sandwiches, top quality ingredients, very kind staff and perfect location near the museum area. A discovery! As soon as I return to Amsterdam I will not fail to return. I would like to stay in AMsterdam again today for their sandwich :-)
I cannot judge their wine, but I have visited them at lunch many times, before getting so disappointed that I have just stopped. The women working there are horrible at least, not friendly, and i would't care if at least they would make nice sandwiches, but even in that they are greedy, so prepare to pay about 5 euro (or more) for an empty sandwich. Their men colleagues, who are also not friendly of course, at least put some more stuff into the sandwiches, which have ridiculous prices (like many similar places in town, i have to admit). The fact is in the area there are really few options to eat something without breaking the bank, still, I would not visit Pasteuning.
Bought a wine cabinet online that was not quite to my liking. Perfect service where the problem was completely solved. Very understanding and customer-friendly. In addition: sympathetic and humorous people. And of course delicious wines from beautiful houses. Ultimately, that's what it's all about. Absolute must.
