My overall experience was excellent. It was my first time and although I didn t have an appointment they managed to give me a slot. I would like also to recommend Fay. She has been really careful and understanding of my needs. I will come back!

I have been visiting the saloon r a while now and i must say during lockdown i had started looking like a bear! i was hesitant to step out of the house but bravely did so and went to my self groomed at the Pastel Mercato branch. Your apprehension is instantly gone when you step in. They greet you always warmly and then my temperature was checked. They sanitized and cleaned the whole room, and then once my service was done, they sanitized my hands.
FAY Is your person to go to, who will make you feel at home, she is friendly, warm and very very professional and excellent at her services.

Today I got a hair transformation at Pastels by Shakira! She is nothing short of amazing. I have very dry weak hair with split ends and It s so flat. It was really affecting my confidence. She managed to do balayage without any bleach and layered my hair perfectly. I feel great this is exactly what I need. And I love how honest she was with me. I will definitely come back again the next time I m in Dubai

I visited the Pastels salon (Mercato branch) for a haircut with Ms. Tanya. As it was my first visit to a salon after the lockdown, I was a little apprehensive, however, I was extremely impressed with the level of cleanliness & sanitization that was being done. I was also shown to my sanitized station, where my haircut would take place. Ms. Tanya has been styling my hair for the last 2 years, and it s safe to say that she does an absolutely wonderful job every single time. I feel like my hair has so much volume & life after every cut or color session with her. I highly recommend this salon.

She is a fantastic colorist and does great blow-waves. Most importantly Rachel has a friendly, warm personality and it is always a treat to see her every six weeks.

I ve been getting my hair done from this place for quite some time now.The staff is very friendly and polite.All the hairstylists are very good with color and cuts.For all this time I used to get my nails done from the nailspa in the same mall as the nail therapists at Pastels did not match up to the services at Nailspa.
Recently a girl called Maricar has joined the nail team.She is extremely good, fast , confident and professional with her work.I got refills done as well as gelish polish and she did an excellent job.Its a flawless finish.

I just had my hair colored / styled by another salon, however I wasn t satisfied with the result as the highlight was harsh and the color was patchy. I searched for another salon and found Pastels Salon Mercato Mall. Shakira was the hairstylist assigned to me and I was really glad it was her because she was very accommodating, gave me suggestions in terms of color, what was needed to fix the problem. I went out of Pastels Salon with a new hair color, highlight and cut, and was complimented several times. I love the way Rachel listens to how I want my hair and advises me on what is best for my hair type while getting the look I am aiming for. She is very professional and is always on hand to give me advice when I need it. The other staff at Mercato branch reception are also very pleasant and professional.

The salon is really nice and clean! They will offer you coffee or tea while you have something done there. I felt good taken care of.
If you need anything that has to do with waxing, Fay is your woman! She has done an excellent job with my eyebrows (threading) and tinting. They look natural and thick! :-)
The room is clean and I felt comfortable there.
Whatever you want considering waxing, you will get it from her!
I also had a hair cut here with Maria. She has made my hair look healthy again, as my ends were quite dry. She knows how to do her job super!
Everything that I have done here, my Mom has done as well. She is amazed as how quick and super Maria and Fay have done it.
She also did her nails here and said that Luche is the one to go for nails!
Fay, Maria and Luche are three very lovely ladies who are doing their jobs very very well and are hard working. :-)

I've been going to Pastels Mercato for so many years now. And my hair and nails were very well taken care of by the best in the business. It's always a sincere advice with regards to one's hair, and without dragging clients to spend more money unnecessarily! I was truly impressed when I was told that it's not necessary to do this or that to my hair, although if I did, it would 've meant more financial gain to Pastel! I love the sincerity and the cheerfulness of the staff and their politeness. Last week, my wonderful hair expert Shakira, gave me an amazingly new look which was so popular with my friends! Beautiful highlights + a nice trim + volume! She even did a beautiful messy chignon hair for the wedding of my son, which literally was stunning! I love this elegant and neat Pastels in Mercato and will never ever trade Shakira for anyone else!

I've been coming to Pastels Salon for 5 years now. Rachel has been doing my hair for most of the time when she has availability. I've honestly always been very impressed with how she does my hair. She not only listens to what the client wants but also gives her professional opinion on what will look good on you or not as every individual looks different and we all need something that will suite us best. I highly recommend Rachel and I feel like a million bucks every time I leave the hair salon after she's done with my hair. She always greets you with a smile and comes to reception to wave her goodbyes until the next time. All the staff are friendly and kind. I'll keep coming back here.
I am extremely fussy about the salons which I select for my services over my 9 years of being in dubai. Pastels are very professional and their communication is tip top. They always accommodate my needs and the experience from start to finish is always the best. Fay is always on hand offering advice with aftercare for waxing. Lucie is great making my nails look fabulous. The reception team are always on hand whatever you may need. I especially love the personal touches with reminder messages before and after your visit. Definitely a hidden gem within mercato mall.
I'm very picky about where I go for beauty services especially with my and hair once I find a great and reliable salon and hair stylist I stick with it.(very rare that it's actually at the same place!)

Love, love, love my colour and cut by Natalie Ann Petersen. The colour is what I ve been trying to achieve, without success, for many many years. I love Natalie s attention to detail... she s a perfectionist. I have had many experiences in the past where the colour is rinsed off and the hair is yellow, and the colourist insists a quick toner is the solution because she needs to move on to the next client. That is not the case with Natalie. She wants you to be 100 per cent satisfied when you leave.
amazing service, saving my life,, I came with horrible highlights plus tears when I walked in to the salon and Shakira saw my hair and she told me that she could save my hair colour. She is very patience and very helpful. I was having horrible yellow color zebra look and she turned it to amazing caramel colour. Flew in to Dubai from Toronto and wanted to take advantage of the talent in Dubai for balyage and ombre hair colouring. Pastels was an amazing choice! The service was professional the salon was super clean. When I sat down I was greeted by Shakira, one of the hair stylists at the Mercato branch, and she took the time to hear exactly what I wanted and any concerns I had. She did an amazing job with the balyage/ ombre; it was very well blended with the original base colour of my hair (no start and end lines), the colour was perfect (ash brown-super cool tone). Throughout the process Shakira was sure to let me know of each step they were doing so I knew what was going on. I loved her work and would greatly recommend the place!
After searching high and low finally found the amazing Rachel at Pastels, she's the best at colour cut and blow dry. I have curly thick hair and only trust her now.

Oh Rachel made my dream hair color come true. I have been with her now for almost nine months , she also gives the right best advice for my hair and she is always been looking after my hair condition, given that my hair has been going through a lot of bleaching and coloring but it still maintains a very good condition, plus she is also amazing at trimming my hair , never took off a lot of its length.. am happy ..
