Great restaurant in Moab especially if you are there to do something physical. Always great to load up on pasta before a nice hike or run. I got to the gnocchi and it was very well prepared with a nice creamy tomato sauce.

I drove 8 hours straight just to eat here. Pasta Jay s is the best Italian food I have ever had.

I received the recommendation from a friend. We ordered their Spinach Artichoke Dip, Spaghetti with Meatballs, Jay s Famous Jumbo Shells, & the Tiramisu. It was off the hook. The spinach artichoke dip came out literally boiling & is one of the best things I have ever tasted in any restaurant category.

A shame it s not closer to my home, but I will be traveling to Moab again just to eat here. Absolutely fantastic fare!

Incredibly disgusting! We ordered some takeouts due to the covid 19. We bought the Neapolitan Spaghetti. It was totally bland, unseasoned! Couldn't taste the sauce at all! The other food our friends bought was not good, too. It was just waste of money and time!

The Good: great environment, breezy open air dining areas, perfect for a fun meal with friends and family. They had delicious garlic bread and we re quick about seating us and bringing out our meals.

The Bad: ordered the chicken Parmigiana and found the chicken to be difficult to cut because it was full of tendons, they must have use cheap cuts of chicken. When we mentioned it to the waiter she said that because We delayed in notifying her of the distasteful chicken, she would have to pay for it out of her own check. What kind of policy is that? She then took our food away, and only charged us for one of the poorly prepared meals and said that it didn t actually end up coming out of her check this time.

In all we weren t impressed with the service or the food. Garlic bread was good but who messes up garlic bread? Best of luck to you Jay, and the rest of your staff.

Had great service! And the food was delicious! Our server recommended the gnocchi with pesto gorgonzola cream sauce (can't remember the name!) And it was delicious!! Wouldn't say this place is authentic, but they do a great job with Italian American!

The service was horrible. The food was wonderful as usual, but that doesn't make up for the horrible service. For the first 20 minutes, we were ignored, then we were finally served by 3 different servers. None of them knew what was going on. Jon, the server for the table next to us totally ignored us and wined and dined the 2 men who were at the table seated next to us. Too bad because we have always eaten at this restaurant whenever we are in town. We told the hostess when we first arrived that it was our 31st wedding anniversary. Nothing~! Not sure if we will be back.

Really good food. We ordered garlic bread with dipping sauces, veggie salad, spaghetti with marinara and Jay s Roman Orgy pizza, then finished off with the tiramisu. The food was really good. The sauces were delicious, I loved the pesto. Everything tasted good and fed a family of 4 easily. Probably one of the best meals we ve had in Moab so far. They seem really busy but have quite a few servers but it seemed like the service could have been better. We ll go back next time we re in Moab.

It is easily the best Italian place I've been to. So yummy. The only thing I can complain about is our food was too hot! We had to wait for it to cool down for about 10 minutes and that is a hard thing to do when it was so yummy! I had the alfredo tortellone with chicken. They are pricey and try to upsell you on a side salad for $7. But very, very good.

We ate lunch there on a Saturday but when I asked for a lunch menu, they said that they did not serve lunch on weekends. The food was bland and extremely overpriced. We paid $18 for a plate of pesto and chicken, the chicken was $6 extra and we got 4 small strips. We were pretty disappointed with what we got compared to what we paid.

The service was okay but overall it was not an enjoyable visit. I'd find a different spot to eat.

So tasty! I didn't expect good Italian food, nevermind Italian food in general, in Moab, but was pleasantly surprised by Pasta Jay's. Walking by and seeing a packed patio and smelling good food forced my hand to go there and give it a try. Had a great server (must have been my luck, according to other reviews) and the food was fabulous. Got the Hagan Option with gnocchi, rigatoni, and chicken parm and was overwhelmed by the size. All tasty. Gnocchi was very tender, perhaps slightly overcooked. This was some of the best Italian food I've had in quite some time. Will return on my next trip to Moab!

Pasta Jay's in Boulder has been our special occasion go to place for years but this was the first time we had the opportunity to dine at the Moab location. Just as in Boulder, the food was excellent. Elaina was our waitperson and was superb. We sat in the patio and even though it was a bit cold and windy that evening (it was Friday the 13th after all), the patio has canvas walls that kept it nice and warm. I highly recommend Pasta Jay's if you are in the mood for great Italian food.

We were planning on eating somewhere else but the great smells from Pasta Jay's pulled us in! They feature some house made pastas and offer quite a bit of variety. Two of three dishes (the two with house made pasta) were very good, and the third was okay just sort of over done. We shared and everyone was happy and had left overs.

It was quite busy on a Sunday evening in late April, but the staff was attentive and kept things moving. The patio was full but we took the option to be seated inside right away. It's warmer and more crowded in there but nothing crazy.

The food and service were both very disappointing. We ordered a salad and a pizza and both were out within 10 minutes. Nice if you're in a hurry, but didn't exactly speak to the quality of the food. The pizza sauce and ingredients all tasted like canned food. We won't be back.

I wasn't expecting anything great, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was quite delicious (but HUGE portions), and the service was friendly & helpful. They have gluten-free items, too (the pizza is excellent). I would go there again.

Did not have a good culinary experience here. Food was basic, no flavor. Service was poor not a good value and bonus they add in 20%gratuity automatically. Would NOT recommend. If I could give a negative 1 I would.

After a horrible experience at Atomic grill, down the road, we came here for a great meal. Even though they were super busy they got us in and out quickly with great food. My daughter talked about how great her pizza was for the rest of the night.

Our family of 4 all enjoyed the food. Had pizza one night, went back for a second night of dine in. The Friday special was good. Homemade manicotti was super delicious. Prices were fair for the amount and quality of food. We would definitely go back!

The food is way overpriced for what you get. And dont get me started on the food. My wife and I ate here while in the area for our honeymoon. Worst experience ever. The pasta was undercooked for her meal, and whatever you do, dont order the chicken, it is awful!! Neither of us could eat it, we even said something. We ended up paying full price and just leaving. Dont eat here!! There are a few better restaurants, in Moab, to have pasta.

So the food was extremely hot had to let it cool down for about 15 minutes before I could eat it. Had a party of 7 on two different tickets and got charged a 20% gratuity on both tickets for parties larger than 6. Personally there is no way I would have given this waitress a 20% gratuity. All in all whatever I would not go again

DO NOT GO. TURN AROUND AND RUN. I would have given -20,000 stars if I could. I took my family there back in May and the service was absolutely horrible. We sat down, ordered our food, and waited for at least 45 minutes, and the waitress never came by to explain what was going on. After an hour or so, the waitress finally told us that the kitchen missed our order. Some of the tables seated after us were already gone by that time. So our food finally came after an hour and a half (or more), to be honest we found some of the dishes okay, yet the brussels sprouts were so overcooked that they taste like cancer!! They were literally charcoal on the outside, and none of us could even attempt to swallow one of those rocks. We told the waitress about the brussels sprouts, and then she came back with a message from the kitchen: That was how they usually prepare the dish, and ours was normal. EXCUSE ME? YOU ARE SERVING CANCER TO YOUR CUSTOMERS EVERY DAY ACCORDING TO YOUR RECIPE AND YOU ARE PROUD OF IT?? My brain could not even process such ridiculous information at that moment. I could not believe they gave such an unreasonable explanation, and they did not even apologize! This place was completely absurd. My family and I also went hiking earlier that day, we were expecting great food from a "popular" place, and the long wait for such horrible food was unbelievably awful. This place should be voted the worst restaurant of Moab in 2018!!!

Nice restaurant that was close to our hotel, within walking distance. At first I had ordered spaghetti and meatballs and didn't realize it had lots of garlic in the sauce, which I had a hard time eating. The waiter was very nice and switched out my meal for fettuccine Alfredo which was very good. They had a nice outdoor patio area which we dined.

We spent a week in Moab and only ate local places to really get a feel for the town and this place is hands down the best food in town. Service was great and the food was incredible. The Lasagne and Chicken Tortellone Alfredo were 10/10. The house margarita was OK, but not great. Huge portions large enough to split between a couple. Prices were a little high, but would be considered fair, for the quality of the food.

Crazy line when we got here for dinner. We asked if we could wait at the bar which the hostess had to check. Turned out to be ok and then we asked if we could eat at the bar. Answer was sure. Got very prompt service. Portions were very large. Used lots of cheese on my stuffed chicken dish., yummy. Hubble had chicken ravioli and was quite pleased. Also enjoyed the garlic bread. Awesome spot for Moab.

Average Italian and touristy. Very busy so expect to wait for your alcoholic beverages. Food was hot which is nice. BUT they do not have lasagna which is a bit odd for an Italian restaurant. Its just okay and priced as if better.

Yuck!

Yuck!
The chicken on my pasta dish was old and tasted bad. My husbands pasta was not cook al dente as advertised. They were out of gluten free bread. No gf beer choices either. The service was slow and unorganized. The sangria was way too sweet. Ugh!
Overall, a lousy experience.
