We walked in at 5:00 pm on a Sunday in early March and were seated right away. We ordered house salads, the chicken Juliana and a mixed pasta trio. The salads were nothing special, but perfectly adequate for our needs. Both meals arrived piping hot. The chicken was moist and the inside stuffing so tasty. The penne was al dente and the alfredo creamy. Each of the pasta offerings were perfectly italian and covered in a creamy marinara sauce with lots of cheese. The dessert options were small and we did not order one. The service was attentive and friendly.

Fast, very friendly service. The food we had was great. It's always good to order a special and one of my family got the white lasagna, which was fanatic! I had shrimp giacamo and that was excellent. Totally worth not being able to find a parking spot ;-)

I enjoyed the meatball sandwich (don t know why they dont call it a sub) I guess it s more of a split top sub roll that is smothered in sauce with 2 decent sized meatballs. Although the size of the roll warrants 3 meatballs especially for $12 buck. It s probably enuf for a girl but def not filling enuf for a guy, he will still be hungry.

Good location right on the main st with lots of tables. Has a big patio. Service was good too. They give out free Jays Sticker

Was a busy night, and we were seated quickly. Had the baked burrata for an appetizer and it was fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious. Would highly recommend the tortlloni and gnocchi with the tomato cream sauce, although you really can't go wrong when everything is fresh and from scratch! Awesome service too! Would highly recommend to anyone!

This is your standard Italian restaurant. Large plates of every different kind of pasta. Good selection of pizza as well. Our server was very friendly and even though the restaurant was busy we were seated pretty quickly.

Not very Italian food. Rather a place where ketchup is the solution and the only solution. Over done.... And does not taste good. We were here 7 years before and loved this place the. In 2018 it turned to be a bad choice for lunch. Paid relatively a lot but could not eat the food really because it was mainly flowing off ketchup.

The food is so good. I find it hard to go to other restaurants while in Moab after my sister introduced us to this place. The only reason I have it 4 stars is due to the service. The server was nice but we had to ask for a refill of water after watching servers pass by multiple times with no intention of stopping. They only had 4 other tables with only couples at the time. That won't stop us from going back, but it sure would be nice to see some improvements in that area.

For $40, my partner and I were expecting at least a decent dinner. The food we ordered was obviously re-heated in a microwave oven as the sauce was burnt on the edges of the plate. The manicotti I ordered was dry, a sign that it was not fresh. On top of that, my $3 Pepsi tasted like soap. Granted, the restaurant was not busy at the time, but that's not an excuse to sacrifice the quality of the food. I felt like Gordon Ramsay was going to come out of the kitchen and tell us to stop eating so he could fix the restaurant.

Overall, disappointed with the food. I'm a native Utahn and feel bad for the tourists who are overpaying for what might as well be a frozen Stouffer's pasta dinner.

Ordered garlic bread appetizer it was cold and dry. Ordered Chicken Parmigiano came with dark brown blackened crust. Alfredo sauce was ok, fettuccine was ok, chicken was blend. The best part was the group 3 tables away dropping F bombs all through the meal. Not a great experience.

Very disappointing. My wife and I had looked forward to eating there after reading the menu listing in the local dining magazine. We waited over 30 minutes in the freezing cold outside for a table. Turns out a table for 2 gets lower priority than any larger table. Nice. Its my fault my kids grew up I guess. The food was incredibly average. Neither my wife or I finished our entree and declined to take the leftovers, which we have never done. I would suggest that your best bet in Moab is any burger place. Don't try anything that suggests polished food, you wont get it. The server was very good, the foods just average.

We had spent the day in Canyonlands National Park and were ready for a good, filling meal. Pasta Jay's hit the spot. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. The service was fairly quick as well, we were seated quickly and we did not have to wait long for our food after ordering. Definitely a good place to get Italian food in Moab.

Delicious Italian food in the middle of the desert. A bit too expensive for what it is, I thought. Somehow a GF caprese pasta bowl with chicken got to $30 with auto-gratuity. But, it was tasty and fresh, so...

Pros:

Pros:

BEST PASTA I HAVE EVER HAD
Friendly Service
Fast Service
Huge Portions
Great Atmosphere
Clean Bathrooms

Cons:
None

I would say that it is a little higher priced than some of the other restaurants around $60 for 2 pasta dishes and 2 sodas, (came with garlic bread) but it's definitely worth every single penny.

I ordered the Chicken Eggplant Milanese.. best Italian food I've ever had. The sauce was delicious. My husband ordered Chicken Parmigiana and loved it. Thanks for a wonderful meal! I would highly recommend! So many good things on the menu- we'll have to come back again!

Nothing special about this place. Kids had pizza and it was soggy. We also ordered chicken Alfredo and that didn t have much taste either. I guess if you are really hungry and all other places are packed then this will do it. Service was quick and the staff was polite.

Portions were big. Has gluten free pasta options (pasta tastes like target brand fusilli if you've ever had it). The GF flatbread was just ok. It for sure was better dipped in marinara so ask for a side! Husband got pizza- it was thin crust. He really liked it. Our only downfall was our service. Seemed like the servers had too many tables in random locations instead of a section which appeared inefficient.

My wife an I got takeout here our 2nd night in moab and was blown away by the baked rigatoni and decided to come and dine in on our 3rd night. THIS PLACE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. There is a reason why theres a line outside every night. We got here around 5 for dinner to beat the rush and we had the best dinner experience. Food came out really quick, the server was attentive to our needs and it seemed like the kitchen has everything dialed in. If you are looking for a no frills pasta/pizza joint, this is the place.

No complimentary bread. $6 for a bread basket with dipping sauces. Small amount of really cheap bread, like they used hot dog buns. Dipping sauces are disappointing. The waitress gave attitude about it when we expressed our disappointment.
The Stuffed Chicken Genovese was good but the pasta that came on the side was undercooked and came with a skimpy amount of sauce. The meal came with more bread, also poor quality.

In my opinion this place does not deserve its good reputation. Maybe it's the location, maybe I am just used to better Italian restaurants.
I won't be coming back.

The atomsphere is excellent, the smells are great.. the food comes out sizzling, but cold inside! The waitress talked to fast I got the seafood dish she recommended and regret the over price stuffed seafood. She also did not do a good job and they were not busy.

Wow. That was probably the most disgusting pizza my husband and I have ever eaten. The crust was burnt. The sauce was nasty and they piled a ton of it on there. Not enough cheese. And the chicken definitely tasted like processed leftovers. I don't understand how this place has gotten so many reviews. Either we came at the wrong time, ordered the wrong thing, or we know what quality pizza tastes like

Quality has really gone down over the last couple years. Ate there twice this week. Both orders are favorites I enjoy at the much higher quality PJ's in Boulder. Cacciatore was so oily and full of onions I couldn't taste the other ingredients. Veggie salad was lacklustre, scaled back on the ingredients that made it worth ordering. Husband's pesto pizza was just okay. All dishes were lacking ingredients. Lastly, the teenage girl working the hostess stand has such poor customer service skills. The place needs new management. There are plenty of good places to eat in Moab. I'll save my PJ's cravings for their Colorado restaurants.

3 stars for the food, they're really good. What we don't like is they automatically added 20% tip when there's only 4 of us. I wouldn't have mind if we have a great server.

We've seen her 3x! When she took our orders, when she dropped our food and when she gave us our tab. She never checked if we need anything else, didnt even ask if we wanted desert or anything. No refill on drinks. The only time we saw her after she dropped our food was when she gave us tab and said, 'when you're ready'

I guess they dont care if their service sucks because 20% tip is automatically added anyway...

Very busy place but well run. Food delicious, prices very reasonable for Moab I d say (good Italian restaurants are always more expensive than other ones - they care about quality - here the prices aren t that much higher). We had pizza and pasta and both were perfect. Also we didn t have to wait to be seated which was the case in other restaurants nearby.

Should be called "Expensive Jays." Everything on their menu was more expensive than most other places in Moab. The flavors were good, but portions were marginal for that price. And then they auto-added a 20% tip to the receipt, and then gave me the option of adding even more! Crazy for just ok food.

Service was good and friendly! Food came out quick but it was nothing special. Bit watery (pasta sauce). If this was a restaurant in Australia it would get a 1 but this was decent enough for the location.
