I have few thing to say about the water in passaic...

I have few thing to say about the water in passaic city, NJ

1)
Sep 18 5:30pm when I making the dinner, the sink water was yellow, I talked to my neighbor and they had same problem. If they have water construction, they should notice to house near by construction area

Next day around the same time the sink water was yellow again. So I called the passaic water company customer service, one of the representatives kathy told me she will send technician that night. But nobody came and nobody even called me.

Following the next day which is Sep 20 morning, weater seems ok so I didn't take any action. but When I start making the dinner the water was yellow again, this is not right!

So I Called the customer service again, and kathy told me she will send technician on that night AGAIN. But nobody came and even nobody call me. I could not go anywhere because I was waiting.

I can t trust passaic water anymore, you must prove that it is okay to drink the water in passaic!

2) My shower head keep black flowing with black specs. I clean often because of the black specs that come out.

This is brand new condo I don t know what is this?

3) the water bill is too high some city did not charging for sewer fee only passaic city we pay $75 sewer fee per quarter

I want to know why Passaic city people only pay the sewer fee even we live in condo.

Water out of tap is digustingly cloudy. Bill shot up without notification by $100 with no explanation even though we are using less water. Asked for service check and she scheduled me on a day it was closed. No way to contact them after I took the day off to wait. Very poor service.

Just got off the phone with Brian who was very very helpful. We have 8 building in our Condo Assoc and we have not received bills for over a year (our old management co did not forward the bills to us) he is sending someone over tomorrow to show us where the meters are and to help get us all squared away. What a great company to deal with and a very professional customer service gentleman. THANK YOU

They Had main water line pipe broke in my street they fix it overnight . No water all night in my block next morning when the water it's back no pressure very low water pressure I call them they show up and they told me to change my water line pipe from street to the house but when I talk to my neighbor he has the same problem same day does people they don't open the valve all the way. so they can have you replace your water line pipe and charge them a lot off money to replace your water lines pipe there is nothing wrong the my water line pipe

The staff that works here are terrible. They seem as they are not educated nor they understand how to handle customers on a human level. The responsiveness of their staff it's overwhelming disgusting, but you have no choice to deal with them because they are the Water Commission and I think the staff understands that really well.

The worst website and customer service ever!!! H...

The worst website and customer service ever!!! Had trouble paying my bill online. The payment got bounced back from the bank because of an error. Got no help from customer service person (who was very pleasant, however). She put me to the supervisor's voicemail which would not accept any more messages ... too full! Unprofessional! I emailed ... got no response. After 2-3 weeks of trying to pay the bill (which kept showing a zero balance), I called another time. The pleasant customer service person gave my message to the supervisor who called me back finally. She would NOT take the $54 return fee off my bill! I had the same problem in August paying online (she did remove the fee then). I cannot stand dealing with this water company! I really feel the $54 fee should be waived as the problem is that awful website! If I could give minus 5 stars I would.

Water mains are constantly breaking in my neighbor...

Water mains are constantly breaking in my neighborhood. Right now we have no water and no way to get info on when we can expect to get it back. Impossible to find an emergency number to call. Customer service says if I want emergency service it'll cost me $150, even though the whole High Crest development in West Milford is affected by a water main break. Public utilities should serve the public.

PVWC, if they were a garbage removal company I would give them two stars, but being a water company is probably the worse I have dealt with. They don't call back as promised. I called 4 times today and every time the line dropped. A person by the name of Bryan is the only person on the face of this earth that can help you by their PVWC standards. And he promises to call back he does not, did not properly rectify the faulty system that PVWC have. The system dropped my auto pay and they are clueless of what happened and they deny that the system is faulty. Their program setup is very primitive probably a high school student wrote the program. When you need a manager they say not available. More than separate 10 issues in the last few years, with every issue I had nothing but trouble communicating with everyone of their stuff. They are great at collecting money but the worse in service. Today I complained to one of their manager and said I would like to make a complaint about your services and treatments she said to who? we are the government and there is no one to complain to. If there is negative stars I would give minus 10 stars to these low lives. I hope the board of commission reads this post and make a good decision by firing everyone there and replace them with decent people.

Why are you sending statements email file in "EML" format that no-one can read !!!!! send it in PDF format like every other company in the world!!!. until then ....now I'll delay my payment until i receive a "PAPER" statement 10-15 days later. What idiots!! who's the wizard that thought of this stupid idea????

They're a bunch of f@!%!*g scumbags. They sneak in...

They're a bunch of f@!%!*g scumbags. They sneak in a few extra cents every billing cycle so you don't notice. It's in the balance forward column. When you call they tell you it's interest from your last bill even though I paid well in advance of the due date and the check had cleared. The best part about these f@!%!*g a@!%!**s is when I moved and cancelled my service they billed me a $40.00 final meter reading fee. When I called and told them they read the meter on the due date and did not even make a special trip they told me it was company policy. So I told them it was my policy not to pay a bunch of low life f@!%!*g thieves. Then these a@!%!**s went on to tell me if I did not pay they would turn off the new customers water and then bill them. I told them to "go for it" I'd like to see you try that b@!%!**t. But it gets worse. There is not a single state agency I could find that has jurisdiction over these m@!%!**#~@#!g pieces of s@!t. Not the useless BPU, consumer affairs or even the governor's office. I still have not paid and I'm not going to. They can all go f@!k their mother up the a@s and ask her how it feels to be f@!%!d that way.

This company is as unprofessional as it gets. Reaccuring account credits were not applied to my bill, and they came and turned the water off at 10 am. When we called and sorted it out we were told they couldn t come and turn it on until 4 pm. We made an appointment and moved on our way. When we came home the next day at 4 pm (a full 24 hours after shut off) the company had been there and left a note that we weren t there when they came for service so the water was still off. The water hook up is ON THE SIDEWALK, and this was not mentioned in either of two phone calls placed to the company. We are now waiting for the company to come and turn the water back on AGAIN and were Told it couldn t be done until 4 pm.

This all occurred because of a billing error on THEIR end. This company is run poorly, had terrible customer service and need to make some huge changes. Stay away.

Ever since they changed their computer system in January, I've had nothing but problems in making payments, receiving bills and then being told, "you just don't want to pay your water bill." Very unprofessional

Awful. Terrible. Quite literally the worst utility...

Awful. Terrible. Quite literally the worst utility I have ever dealt with.
Our water goes out regularly. If it happens between 4:30 pm & 7:30 am, you have to call the emergency number. You are then threatened with a $150 bill to check out your water issues and you MIGHT get a refund if it is a PVWC issue.
This summer, we wanted to have our water tested for lead. No one ever came to pick up the sample. I called and called. No one ever explained why the techs were standing us up.

We had an emergency and crew has fixed it immediately. Team was very dedicated and they finished the job without any issue. They made sure we don t go without water. Appreciate and applaud their effort. Rain or shine they were at their best.
