Great organization to work for or just be associated with. Providing great service for the community.

I love my job, my co-workers, my supervisors and the hr team.

Unfortunately, I've personally witnessed inappropriate behaviors of an employee. I've done this type of work, as an assistant director in California before I came to care for my now deceased mother. I'm now on forced disability due to health issues of my own.

People helping people takes a special type of person to be successful at this type of work. This type of work is not easy and takes a lot of compassion and empathy as well as good boundaries and appropriate behaviors and responses to your clients.

I also have a few friends that have had negative experiences with this organization and it saddens me to have to write this review accordingly.

The incidences have been reported to the appropriate agencies. And hopefully this will help and hopefully these are isolated individuals that work for PCL that are behaving badly.

One bad Apple can make an entire organization look horrible and vice versa

I have worked for many places in my life but working here is different..I feel were a team and we are friends and family's and I love my job..Never thought i would say that! Pcl is a good place to work...

Very bad company to work for, terrible reputation they will bend you over and make you do everything for them and make you apologize if you mess up in the slightest, they are extremely unorganized and there is abuse in all aspects, to the people they support and the people that they employ. They don t care about you they just want you to do without asking. I was stuck in a live in position and the supervisor forced me to stay the night at the house even though the company knew and so did he that there was a bed bug infestation. Do not work for them they will try to screw you over.

Great company to work for. They take care of their employees and do everything to support the people they serve.

They are such nice family oriented non profit helpful people that you just want to hang out with them.

I currently work for PCL. I could not be happier. I have worked in this field for many years. The others companies I have worked for is all about the bottom line. At PCL the sole purpose is for the individuals they support. They are not about anything else they are a non-profit and for this they can focus on the the person rather then being in the black as they say. I have only worked here for 8 months and have no plans of ever going anywhere else. For that thank you PCL for not only the work you all do for the people supported but for the community and all the wonderful things you do for all the counties you are making a difference in.

So i'm new to the company, and i feel like im getting disrespected. the supervisor is not a good one, very irresponsible, and doesnt care about sending a text message to me to let me know when i could start. its not a good company to work for.

They lied to me. They told me they were hiring part-time. I made it very clear that I could only work part-time
I completed the all of their training. And was assigned a full-time position over night in clients home.
