My son just attended a birthday party here. They have clean changerooms and pool area. The pool was very nice and warm! You can also rent rooms in the basement to have family gatherings or birthday parties.
I have been going to the lodge for respite stay since 2015.
I keep returning because of the friendly and supportive staff and the friendly patients.
I have never been neglected or left wanting. The care has always been exceptional.
To add to the fun and the care the scenery is also breathtaking and there is always some place you can find to sit alone if you wish to take in the beauty and serenity of the place.
Thanks to all for wonderful stays. Your place is home away from home.

This place is a hidden gem out in the country. Pool/gym rentals are very quite, clean and very well maintained. Great staff and residents make the lodge a wonderful getaway from the stress and hassle of Owensound.

Horrific place to put a loved one who cannot speak for themselves but even when they can they are too scared to, as am I. We learned the hard way after our family member died from staff neglect. Since then we hear all of the horror stories from other families and ex staff of abuse and neglect....and many deaths since our tragic experience. I hope my review will help families to make the right decision and others to write an honest review of what really happens in this facility.
