It appears as though customer service has become a...

It appears as though customer service has become a low priority at most Parker's locations in and around the Savannah area. Checkout clerks no longer wish to perform their primary duties, which are to assist and check out customers at the checkout counter. They would rather direct people to use the automated (but often problematic) DIY checkout machine. They either don't know, or do not care that those same machines are soon to be their replacements. Lottery and tobacco products will soon be dispensed by similar automated systems.Typical Parker's employees will become obsolete relics. The only actual people left will be middle management and systems maintenance crews. At least the machines (when they function properly) don't act as though they're doing you a favor by do their job. Many of the current lineup of Parker's CHECKOUT CLERKS do exactly that. Many of the store managers themselves are no better than the employees at doing their jobs. Oh well......... I suppose that if people actually did their jobs, then they wouldn't need to be replaced by machines.

I don't want assistance with self checkout! I have no interest in using a DIY checkout terminal of any kind. What I want, is for the store CLERKS to perform their primary function, and do it at the CHECKOUT COUNTER!
I don't want to be forced to purchased tobacco products and/or lottery tickets in order to get customer service. Why is this so difficult for you people to understand?

Store location #35 Skidaway in Savannah has the poorest customer service and have a very bad attitude especially the two females that works the morning shift. Their coffee service is especially very dissatisfied with lack of supplies and assistance in that area

Worst thing this company did was put in AI's to cash out. Now it takes 10 minutes to cash out with maybe 2 people in line. While your employees are just standing around because you replaced their position with a computer . Absolutely ridiculous .

I am very disappointed in the Claxton Parker's. The girl that waited on us did not know what she was doing we got two drinks and paid for 20.00 in gas when I went to the pump it stopped on 10.00 When I went in the store to complain. She said they looked at a video. The was gone not even 5 minutes. And said she gave the money to us. We got the change out of the change drop.but no bills. Went in twice she was rude tell we have to count the drawer. You have lost several customer because of this. It is a shame that a worker don't know what the last person she waited gave her.

Yesterday one of your Parkers Support trucks was speeding through a school zone (posted speed caution light was flashing) at Southwest Middle school on Hwy 17. If a police officer had been around the truck driver would have gotten a ticket. Please remind all your employees to follow safe driving habits.

I stop in the Parker's in Claxton daily. I went in there this morning to get me some cheese grits this morning, and the ones that they had out there was very thick, and I asked the lady that was working in the deli if they had any in the back and she said no. This was at 9 am so I know they usually have a back up pan in the back so I asked her again, and she again said no. So I asked her if they was going to have any morning and she said very rude that Amber was cooking some more. All she had to say was that they were cooking some more. So I left and came back and got me some grits and I was told she wasn't like that and then Roxanne tried to say she wasn't rude and I told her she was and she started again. I have worked in customer service and I know the customer is always right. I won't be shopping there any more. I am done.

It's to the point that parker's is stealing from every cash customer who makes a purchase. They post signs about a change shortest and use that as an excuse to runner up your purchase to next highest dollar. Of course you can use a card or make sure you walk in with exact change but I shouldn't have to. They don't even try anymore. No other gas station/store has no issues with giving change! No one else seems to have a problem get change for their customers just parker's. Every time parker's pulls this stunt it's pure profit in their pocket and flat out theft to you and me! I'll be cancelling my rewards card and no longer giving them my hard earned money!
