Horrible. Was a year wait list for them to see my 8 yr old. Understandable, and it was the only place that accepted our insurance so we gave it a try. The office is so disorganized, but not sure if that had anything to do with Covid. We started virtual therapy in April 2020 and my daughters therapist was changed 4 different times in a 5 month period, with no explanation as to why. When we started an ADHD med, my daughter developed very low blood pressure and it was impossible to get in touch with the psychiatrist who prescribed the medication. Not her fault, because the office never relayed the numerous messages I left. We were told we could join a support group of other kids/families and that never happened. There was never any check in or communication with any of the therapists. The office staff is entirely useless and every time we had to call it was a game of phone tag. They sometimes just schedule appts for you without letting you even know. So disappointed in the care provided here. Hope others have a better experience than we did.

Called the clinic regarding a question about what insurance is accepted and the woman was extremely rude. I am calling a clinic for help and the staff that is supposed to be helpful acted like I was interrupting her day. She answered the phone as she was joking and laughing with someone in the back round and when I asked her what types of insurance do they accept she got nasty and said there were too many to name. So much for hiring professionals as a mental health clinic.

My therapist was kind and empathetic, but the therapy here is not helpful for people who need skillful mental health care providers, as what is offered here is essentially talk therapy and not more specialized therapy types like CBT or DBT, despite what they may claim. It felt more and more like a waste of time and money, and I didn't find the sessions to be productive or helpful, so I decided to seek care elsewhere. My advice to anyone considering therapy here is to thoroughly research your therapist's credentials and determine if you feel they are qualified enough to address your mental health concerns.

Very good service. Been having regular therapy sessions and have seen psychiatrists there for 10 years (give or take). Haven't experienced any trouble or bad service.

In terms of therapists, I've had many helpful ones and only experienced 2 'duds'. In regards said 2 therapists i had issues with: not too serious or worth ranting about and certainly isn't enough to effect my overall experience. One simply left the center too early before I could make any progress with her, the other got a bit uppity about attending sessions. But said therapists have long left this center so don't worry, I'm just speaking from my own experience.

OVERALL: the majority of therapists I've had have all been helpful, even the so called 'duds' - as I did make at least some progress during my time with them despite some conflict. I definitely recommend this clinic if you can get in.

I called here today to request services for my daughter who has been going through such a difficult time. I was transferred to an angel named Paola, who really sympathized with me and understood both the fear and urgency in my voice. Although I can t speak to the benefits of the counseling services just yet, I will say if their personalities reflect anything like Paola s, then it will be nothing but a positive experience for my daughter. Thank you Paola!

The people here are genuinely kind and want to help, however they grossly misrepresented themselves to me twice. I was told they had DBT and paid for three sessions in addition to seeing their psychiatrist only to find out they don't have DBT when I was told twice by two different members that they do. This took a decent part of my summer away from me where I could have been getting the help that I actually needed. It's now the end of summer and I am in dire straits with less money in my pocket for treatment I could have given myself. This place is more of a therapy 101 center for people who haven't had therapy before or don't struggle with complex problems that need specialized care. To make matters worse I now need to scramble to find a psychiatrist because they don't offer medication management unless you're in therapy with them. And I use the word therapy loosely. Kind as the people may be I felt like I was in a guidance counselor's office. Although I won't lie, having my time taken by this place has put me in a significantly more dangerous place. And for that I'm still carrying around anger, especially when I made it clear in my first visit that DBT was what I was looking for. I get that you're a business but when you're in the mental health business things like this are life and death.

By far the best clinic I've been to (been through about 5/6 therapists or counselors in my life, all of which I stopped seeing voluntarily). My therapist has made me feel safe and comfortable from the beginning and I am happy with my progress thus far. I have had similar experiences to other reviewers here, the front staff can be short but since covid hit they've been really responsive and helpful. I never responded with frustration when they were rude in the past because I can't imagine it's an easy job, even without the stress of a global pandemic anyway, but that's just me. I am sorry to those that haven't received the help they need. There are many problems with mental health care in this country; I don't say that to invalidate anyone's experience of feeling uncared for or untreated for by any individual clinic or office -- it's the reality we have to work with for now. Having said that, if you're looking for a clinic and have eligible insurance (they're not taking GHI/Emblem btw) I would recommend this place.
