Great amenities and lots of closet space. Clean rooms and everything you need is available
Bradley at the front desk was beyond rude while claiming my purse was not in luggage hold downstairs. The valet attendant, Michael, thankfully found it in the luggage room 45 minutes later after my persistence. Worst hotel customer service in years of traveling for work. Never again Hilton.
Amazing staff, hospitality and atmosphere! I stay here for business and each time is fantastic.
I booked two double queen rooms and they said they could only do one king with a rolling bed on both, that was unacceptable as we had children. The check in lady had to go clean the rooms for us, and it was her first day. When we got back that night the rooms had not been cleaned, I will never stay here again and definitely don't recommend it. Also it was outdated and there was no microwave.
The staff was phenomenal. The only downside is the rooftop pool is only 3ft...
Basic Hilton hotel, good size rooms but a little tired. Buffet Breakfast quite basic.
Working in progress but when these will be over, this should be close to 5 stars. Nevertheless, breakfast is good, but not amazing according to the quantities and diversity of products.
Excellent reasonably priced hotel tucked away in a very convenient part of town. Great bar and food as well. My new go to in Dallas.
This place is beautiful and a somewhat unique location. Modern and stylish, the only downside is only valet parking is available and the pool, not really a pool. I would say more like a puddle. Other than that it's a Hilton hotel and you can expect to always be satisfied with Hilton.
The whole floor was under construction... got woken up so flipping early by construction crews blasting music and pounding jackhammer.... ughhhh. Got in super late from a very much delayed flight. Was looking forward to an extra hour but NO! Mentioned it to management at front desk. They said sorry. No offer of even a bottle of water. Really poor customer care!
One of the finest hotels in Dallas. The staff are on top of everything you need, and they will build a killer wedding reception.
Only way to improve would be to expand the valet drive. It's very small and only one lane.
Love this Hilton location. The rooms are clean and well kept. Friendly efficient staff. Nice pool and quiet, upscale bar atmosphere. Will always choose this hotel in Dallas.
Pros: Great Service! Everyone including the valet, cleaning staff, the attendants at the desk, the gentleman manning the bar, were all absolutely fantastic. The location was awesome in that there are many close places for good cheap food and shopping. The Hotel is right off the Toll road which made it very convenient to travel around.
Cons: Overpriced, $10/day for internet is ridiculous, a required valet (not mentioned anyone online) irritated me. I choose this hotel due to the location but I might not stay here again due to the price.
Sometimes there were strange odors and view was nothing write home about. I could never seem to feel comfortable with the temperature in my room but that's probably due to my own bias preference. The furnishings were nice but the TV was a bit small.
Clean rooms and a good location with plentybof surrounding dining options.
The hotel is very nice, however the walls are thin and the breakfast options are rather limited.
It was a high class hotel with an overall great experience.
Room had a little smell to it when we walked in. It also had dust on some of the surfaces in the room. No microwave for guess to heat food.
The day before our flight to Dallas, I realized I had inadvertently reserved our room for the incorrect date. The staff at this hotel was kind, compassionate, and understanding of the situation we were in. The staff was not obligated to help or fix my mistake, however, they 'rescued' us in time of need.
Excellent central location. Above average rooms. LOTS of dining and shopping within blocks. Great restaurants nearby, 10-12. Hotel is older, but friendly staff. Restaurant was not open yet, so still a bit quiet.
I checked in a hold was placed on my card when I checked out the hold was not released but the payment was processed i was stranded in Dallas for a day waiting on the hold to be released from my card in addition to calling the front desk numerous times. The front desk staff seemed very unconcerned about my problem. If you stay here the rooms are nice but beware VALET IS $30 dollars a night but you can park across the street for free. The staff my look down on you but at least you will keep 30 in your pocket! I will not stay here ever!!
The Dallas Park Cities Hilton is a classic example of a chain retrofit in an old building. While the finishes are relatively new, the old underlying bones of the building are still there. Weird intermittent noises from the HVAC equipment, old elevators, varying water pressure; that sort of thing. They only have valet parking, or so you will be told even though there is a parking garage in the building with access directly from the lobby. The pool, fitness center, and lobby restaurant were under construction during my stay, with jack-hammering in the lobby starting at 7:30AM. Stayed for two nights on business, and they overcharged me for the room rate upon check out. While the helpful front desk staff fixed this issue, the fact that it happened in the first place added to a less than enjoyable experience at this hotel.
Nice hotel, but little things like slow Internet and room keys not working great have been irritating. Staff is great though.
The hotel was very clean and nice. The service was great.
Great place to stay! It was clean and the bed was comfy!
We love this hotel. Great location for us good service, bar, pool, etc
I stayed here recently on a business trip and was very happy. The lobby and the rooms seem upgraded from the last time I stayed several years ago. Very friendly service and the breakfast was good. Bed comfortable.
I will definitely stay here again. However, if I attend another conference here, I hope it is after the renovation, so I can have access to the gym. No gym is always tough for me.
Fantastic customer service in the rooms were phenomenal. I love the upstairs lounge and enjoyed a beer and a game there while working.
Nice hotel. Rooms were fine as well and had a pleasant stay..
No wifi unless you signed up for honors program otherwise 10 x day and once you registered for honors program you need to go to front desk to activate it. Waste of time if you are there for work.
- management was rude. It was so noticeable
My coworkers made a comment about it.
- no breakfast included . If you get the breakfast package is 25 dollars for a plain buffet breakfast oatmeals and the regular continental breakfast NOT WORTH 25, go somewhere else if you can.
- front desk and vallet were friendly and helpful. This is why I gave it 2 stars
Excellent service, nice clean rooms, would stay here again.
It's been several years since I was last at the Park Cities Hilton. The lobby and ballroom are nicely spruced up since I last attended. Parking for this event was also gratis which was a nice perk.
Attended an event. Room was nice, staff was decently attentive, quality of product was on par with expectations.
5 stars for service and location, 1 star for lack of self-parking which forces you to use valet parking at $30/night. Factor that in when selecting this hotel.
Very nice hotel, not many activities in the neighborhood for those who cannot talk distance beyond 1-2 blocks.
If they had a no star rating I would give them that. I stayed here for a week for a volleyball tournament and the guy at the front desk referred to my wife as you people. When that happened she asked to speak to his manager and of course he said he was the manager. I felt racially profiled as if I couldn't afford to stay there. Filed a complaint against the guy at the front desk in July and it is now November and no one has contacted us yet I will never stay at another Hilton in my life
The hotel and the location were great, however we experienced some issues with our reservation (had to change rooms when we were told at check-in we wouldn t have to), my vehicle was damaged while in the possession of valet, and we didn't receive the Hilton Honors treatment upon check-in. We witnessed other patrons receiving their complimentary items upon check-in and standard Hilton Honors treatment. They apologized profusely for the inconveniences we experienced, however we expected more from a hotel of this caliber.
Room wasn't very clean, no self-park option. Had to pay extra to park it myself since I didn't want the 16 year old valet who didn't know how to drive stick burning my clutch.
It's a pretty good hotel. The check in was very easy, the room was clean and everything worked well enough.
In an odd and somewhat disconcerting twist, my room looked directly into a parking lot 7 feet away, making my room feel very very public.
The biggest concern was the speed of the internet. I don't expect amazing things from the free WiFi, but my computer was timing out trying to load even small jpgs, making it entirely useless for business.
Nice hotel. I would opt for a better location with better restaurants and bars near by next time in Dallas
Beautiful Hotel. Construction didn't hinder too much. Nice room and great staff.
I highly recommend this location! I stayed here a month ago and experienced some of the best customer service I have ever had at a hotel.
The Hilton did a great job hosting my friends and family that came in town for my brother's wedding this weekend. The rooms were clean and well furnished. The bar was spacious and comfortable. And the staff was very accommodating and thoughtful. I was impressed by some of the steps they took to go above and beyond to make the weekend special for my brother and my family. Thanks!
Great location and very classy building with excellent staff more than happy to answer any questions. The only reason I'm not giving 5/5 is that there was some slight issues with my bathroom sink which I pointed out but wasn't enough of a problem that I needed them to address it immediately.
Great hotel, very nice staff, well trained, attentive professional
The staff is so friendly and helpful. A beautiful location hidden amongst the office buildings. The beds are comfy. I feel like I'm laying in a cloud. Food at the restaurant/bar is yummy and filling. I couldn't finish most of my food. The loaded waffle fries will leave you stuffed.
Unfriendly check in. No information offered. No recognition of diamond status. Nice location and room but will not stay there again.
For the price they charge... Not worth it. For starters, the rooms need to be updated.
Clean. Satisfying breakfast buffet. Nice bar/lounge area. Valet only.
Everything besides valet was great but since they use this company it is overall bad.
Let me just start off by saying I would do zero stars if it was an option. I was on a business trip for my new job last week and had the hotel (Hilton park cities-Dallas) booked for me and all valet paid by my firm. So, I utilized this service And the second night that my vehicle was under their care it was hit in front of the hotel, they had it parked out front, which I think is a bad idea for any valet service but it seemed like it was normal practice for them. I was told about the damage on my new ( less than 700 mile vehicle) the very next morning but as of today I was just informed that they are not accepting responsibility. I should not be paying for this as I did not see nor sign any liability waiver for this company. I have multiple conversations with the manager stating many things where he accepted responsibility for this as it was in the care of the valet company. I WILL be fighting this and telling everyone I know to not utilize their services and avoid at all cost. This is just the beginning of my fight to have my new vehicle fixed and this company accept responsibility for their actions.
Good and clean room. View is a wall... Breakfast is good.
Nice hotel but not large enough for a big event.
The hotel is perfectly located and situated for its environment being around multiple businesses who need a hotel. If you are having a large event though, such as an auction it is not the best place, the space is very tight leaving little room for moving around.
Not a very good experience so far. Slow service and room has issues including running toilet and handle in shower is like falling off.
The ballroom was nice and the food was good. It was a nice place to have an event.
Parking is a problem. Valet only, very slow to get your vehicle out. Hotel is nothing special.
Beautiful large rooms, friendly staff. Lots of construction around the area. A few stores (CVS, Marshalls) within walking distance.
Enjoyed my 2 day staycation in Dallas with my family. The roof top was nice and the staff were super friendly. And I got to witness a beautiful 4th of July wedding during my stay.
Beautiful, clean, good neighborhood. We loved it here.
Great hotel, nicely designed unfortunately self parking is not available here and valet is the only option.
Beware to park your car here. There is no other choice but to valet your car. We did. Got the car from valet, noticed there was damage to the vehicle. The Valet Manager, Lynn (male) profusely apologized and said he would take care of it saying he'd call the rental car company and resolve the problem. When we returned the vehicle, the call was never made and when we called Lynn to rectify the situation, they said it wasn't their fault. Now we have to pay $350 out of pocket for damage we didn't do. When we tried to involve the hotel to assist with this, they also did not help claiming that the valet company is separate from Hilton and therefore not their responsbility.
Not a happy camper here. We'll never go there again.
Better than average rooms, fantastic staff, great food.
It's my belief that the parking situation needs to be fixed immediately. Forcing a guest to only have Valet as a parking option is inadequate and then forcing them to have to pay for it is a horrible business practice! The front desk staff (not all) are very condescending with the guests when disclosing your issue(s). The valet parking disclosure needs to be placed in a better place on your website. My car also had a case of very bad Body Odor when it was returned, I had to ride home with the windows down because it was so intolerable! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any friends and associates!!
Well-located but for the price the room was shabby. Maybe bec i was on top floor (11th), i could hear a motor running that never turned off. Same w/ the bathroom fan -- had to keep the door closed bec it was so loud. Even the clock was set for wrong tine & i could not figure out how to reset it.
Road construction makes access difficult and causes excessive noise.
