Staff cake shop is open to the public....its fantastic.....watch the weight gain though the cakes are delicious !!!

Love going to the staff shop there staff are great cakes are yummy and really cheap great if your having a kids party

DO NOT WORK HERE. the workplace is corrupt. NO practical health and safety in place. One quick half an hour written paper questions and your in the door. I was badly injured in hereand they forced me to carry on working with unbelievebly bruised arms from another staff member with zero training. This is not acceptable and should not be happening. Also this is an underpaid job they make u slave and mess up your pay. I would not recommend working here. Big safety issues!!!! The company should be fined.

Amazing prices and discounts, never seen anywhere else for absolutely delicious and amazing cakes and desserts. Love it.

Worked there for couple weeks... all managers and supervisors think that they are higher than you and always shouting to show to everyone that they can do everything but you not...

I get staff discounts so the big cakes are half the price for me

Worked here for 4 weeks and was so unorganized especially the bakewell side every night something would go wrong either wrong mix where 60000 cakes where put in bin because someone for got to put sugar in the mix. The lines where breaking down evert note and the managers don't care seems like all 4 managers are fiddling the papers because how can that factory be making any profit with so much going wrong 1 manager got his girlfriend working on the line and she sends someone home everynite because she don't like them if they talk back when she shouts at them for no reason I was there 4 weeks and seen so many people get treated wrongly. I would not recommended this place to anyone if u talk back to managers to tell them what went wrong they will collide with each other n sack you coz seems like they trying to hide the fact that so much is going wrong they diffinetly playing aroung with the fuligures to make out all is fine.

I would like to know does all staff how days off saturdays and sunday

Love the factory shop that is open to the public, quality cakes (despite being seconds) at very good prices.

Shithole and supervisors are power mad.Agency say you are promised a job after 3 months which is a load of Crap.Nobody ever gets offered a job here even if you been on the agency for the last 3 years or so.

You go for induction and agency say we will start you in 2 weeks as we are snowed under with work and then they say we are very quiet 2 weeks later so the agency are full of tripe and need getting rid of.wasted 4 hours in a induction and food hygiene course and basically lied about work.the agency is called Gi Group.

Terrible they don't even pay staff wages on time!!! 4 weeks with no money and no wage slip when told each week it'd go in appalling don't work there!!

Don't know how it works but starting there soon so i'll do whatever i can with my new colleagues and hope the best for all

Terrible if this is somewhere you want to go with your kids then don't I'm 14 years old and I was going to go in with my mum but when I got in the shop I was right away kicked out ( no under 17 allowed).And it was disappointing anyway there were only Swiss rolls in.

Great for your cake fix, plenty of choice, would be a great place to visit if your having a party.
Remember no children under 17 years allowed in shop.

I work here. Make great cakes and get such a good discount in the company shop. Great value for money and made a lot of friends using it haha

Got a call late at night, saying to come to an interview the next day in the morning. Told them i wasn't available at that time. Never heard from them ever again.

the staff are very unproffessional sometimes disrespectfull yes am talking about g i group.
the incharge think ther it they can do wat ever they want they shout at workers no respect wats so ever i wouldnt encourage anyone to work in this place nightmare working in this place.to much racist people in there.bare in mind if you stick up for urself in front workers they complain about u to the incharge then u get punished by working in the ovens.they think they can do what they want but sorry i dont think sht.
HATE THE PLACE.

Not impressed, they moaned at my 9 year old son, saying he wasn't allowed in the shop, & told him "to get out, go & wait for your mum outside", as if I am gonna leave my little boy outside a place he doesn't even know, how rediculous, my son is no problem, & holds my hand were ever we go, he wanted to spend some of his money on treats, but won't be going there again in a hurry !!!!!

I've worked at Park Cakes Bakery for around five years and I like working there, so I'm going to say that the staff are great. Lol.

As a person who has worked in the premises in the past. I am currently unable to say anything good about the premises.
From what I have seen in the premises, the was zero health and safety on site. And zero working equipment for the hygiene site work. Also plenty of pest infestation on site.
Also I have to say that I was shocked to see that the management team were carrying out bullying of staff. As well as I was a victim of the bullying by management when I worked there.
Not a place to recommend to anyone wanting employment in the future.
