Not only the best bar in Paris but probably the best thing in Paris. Incredible music, amazing decor and 3.50 for a pint of warsteiner. Brilliant.

Under the air of a "Metalleux" bar, the music is rather commercial. Friday and Saturday evenings the DJ is not bad at all (at least when I went there)

The bartender was very friendly and attentive and the music was very nice! We had a very good unwinding time!

Great choice of beer. Had a couple of pints last week and it was great. This week, had a flat pint of Brooklyn. It happens. But took it back and it wasn t replaced! Really disappointing. Star rating is an average for the two visits.
I m sure that service could be better in this respect. Beers go flat if there isn t enough turnover!

Lamentable, aggressive and liar staff

Friday night, we came to James Hetfeed's Pub to celebrate my sister's birthday.
At about 9pm, the bartender asked us if it was a birthday and when we said yes, he told us that there would be "something" during the evening to celebrate the event. Around 1am, as we were about to leave, my sister went to ask the bartender what it was. He told her that she was entitled to a free shot, but "later". After about fifteen minutes, we decided to leave, so she went to the bar to take his free consumption while we were waiting outside.
After drinking, my sister went to the exit to join us, the security guard suddenly grabbed her arm to bring her back to the bar where she was asked to pay for her consumption! When she explained the situation, she was told that the house was not doing this kind of thing and the bartender (the same one who had offered him a free shot) to deny everything en bloc!
Taken by the vigil and the two bartenders, she ended up paying. When she joined us and told us what had happened, one of us tried to ask for explanations at the bar, but he was almost thrown out by the vigil!
In short, an evening that leaves a bitter taste ...

The beer menu is fine but the service is horrible, Ive Been there with family , the waiters are very rude, we were very surprised , I don t recommend if you want to have a chill moment , but if you want to get angry go for it lol

Being attracted in general by pubs because I generally find there a friendly and festive atmosphere, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bar.
The bartenders are execrable there .......
No sooner had we ordered than I was already shocked at the way we were greeted: not a hello not a thank you and we ended up getting fired like nasties while we were quietly finishing our drink outside.
It is with an experience like this that I understand my bad reputation abroad ....

I will never forget the moment that I lived in this bar 2 years ago for the semifinal of the euro against Germany. The atmosphere was crazy the beer was good and affordable. The only bar in the street that plays very good music !!!

The drinks are good as the atmosphere but the bouncer is execrable, we shouted on because we were wrong door and we booked a very bad reception. I do not recommend anything for the host staff happily that the servers and the dj save the day

Good pub, really attractive rates for alcohol AND food. Too bad the place is soulless.

Decent pub with solid prices, little dance like club at the back. Never heard an alternative let alone heavy rock song. Good drink choices and nice on the street selection of seats, I will probably end up going again.

Good music and overall nice people, it's a shame it closes a little bit before 2 AM.

It is a bar not too expensive for (very young). The music is much too strong for my taste. Even in box I have never had such a bad ear as here, especially since we are not entitled to the playlist of the century.
The waiters are very rude, openly drumming my friend's girlfriend, and the general hygiene of the place is a disaster (glasses never recovered on tables, alcohol spilled all over the ground).
And also the screens that broadcast Bein Sport constantly, nothing more annoying!

Good bar with a nice ambience and variety of drink options. Food is also available if you're hungry. The music is decent. Given that there are pictures of James Hetfield all around I thought there would be rock and alternative but that wasn't the case. My friends and I still had a great time.

Nice bar, kind afterwork. Pint at 5 euros in happy hour, chouffe at 6. often transmits matches on the screen. The terrace is quite narrow.

My pub reference of Paris. I go there only occasionally, but over the years, renovations and owners, the bar has mostly kept its identity, its prices, and therefore its public. Advisable for a drink, to dance, to see a match.

Nice map of cheap beers. In contrast the food is poor (mix snacks)

No happy hours for us unfortunately contrary to what I could read in the comments before arriving in this bar was the good time but may not be the good day the painted Guinness is 6 . Unlike other messages, I did not find the place aggressive or sound level or from the security team. The beers are good and not expensive. Not far from the Rex, I find the pub nice, if we love rock obviously!

No relation to the name of the pub, house style music + football on TV ... It was a disappointment

We came to discover this bar on Friday, October 5, 2012 because on paper everything looks correct:
Cheap beer, nice music and rock decor, and great space ...

We arrive at 15 to 18h, there are not many people we ask ourselves and start to order several tours of glass and baskets of chips ... 300 euros in 1:30
Everything is fine except that around 20:30 one of the waiters pretended that our table of 15 people was reserved and that we must "clear" right away.
FALSE the table was not reserved there was no paper or anything ...
It does not matter, we tell him that we finish our end of glass and that we go away.
From there, 2 security guards arrive 20 seconds later and pull the chair from one of the table's occupants, who falls to the ground and gets hurt. The security guard pulls out his baton and tells us to release ...
We ask to see the boss, this one tells us he is sorry but that the table was reserved!
UNBELIEVABLE
Not only does this bar not respect its customers but justifies PHYSICAL VIOLENCE.

Summing up, do not go to this bar, the prices may be low but the waiters insulting the security guards hit you and the bartenders are flying on orders by "forgetting" conso ...

Great Metallica and rock themed bar.
Good selection of beer with reasonable price for a Parisian bar.
After 10pm you can dance on mainstream music, right after the Circle of Life.

Just to be able to drink Smithwicks pressure! Otherwise it's a normal pub.

Already seen a friendlier staff but more welcoming but is not less a nice place for a drink for not too expensive between friends. Possibility to watch football on several screens for those interested. Not an incredible comfort but amply enough.

It's a very good bar, good music every time, the staff is very cool but they take themselves a little too seriously and suddenly they don't really convey madness but the atmosphere is good and we don't let go. a nothing. The only problem, it closes too early but a lot of bar nearby so it's okay.

Good choice of beers and not expensive! However the physio of the entrance was odious and the waiter very unsympathetic. I was eating a sandwich in the face while having consumed several hours in the bar before. Returning impossible to return I was boycotted! I guess it's because I ate out of their establishment. They did not even want me to go back and take my stuff that was left in it I had to beg them I think it's outrageous! Very very rough and very unfriendly. No commercial sense. I will not come back because of that.
