Bought two flexible flyer saucers for $10.00 each, in 3 minutes use, I had 6 flexible flyer pieces. Gets Brittle when cold, not so flexible.

Bought 5 sleds model 648. I am ashamed to see the made in USA sticker on them. I know it's just a sled but they should not be proud of these products and they should not have the "Made in USA" sticker on them. There is no reason anything Made in the USA should be made this poorly. A sled should be made to enjoy in the snow, not to break the first time using it. The chemistry of the plastic is obviously not the right blend to withstand the winter weather without shattering. Do Not Buy This Item From This Manufacturer!
We don't mind buying the $10 sleds and have them crack after a long season, but we spend money on the "toughest plastic sled made in the USA" and were told the plastic wouldn't shatter. The sled felt tougher, the plastic thicker. ONE run, people, ONE run...the sled was broken into 18 pieces and my son was in tears. HORRIBLE.
Love to buy American, especially Maine, but after 3 sleds and a saucer that all broke within less than a day's use over the past year, I'm avoiding this company. The sleds are pretty cheap, but it adds up, and it's hard to price the continual disappointment of the kid in these crappy sleds.
2 sleds, two runs, 2 broken, in fact shattered, sleds. I think the blade of grass sticking through the fresh snowfall must have been too much for the sled. Never has the USA been so poorly represented and it is no wonder why Americans buy stuff overseas. Better quality at lower prices.
Bought some lightning sleds, they broke right away. Bought some more they broke also. Company sent me replacements in the mail. They broke also. I thought it was a bad batch of plastic, but the company won't admit it or change. I bought a different larger sled, and the whole batch from our local store shattered. Company quit talking to me when I tried to convince them that their plastic is inappropriate for making sleds. I called management in Maine and they did not return my call.
Conclusion: this company is out for your money and a one-time deal. Don't buy their sleds, your kids will be sad and perhaps hurt by shattered plastic. ERA plastics in Canada are much better
Paricon Deluxe "sweep" Snow Brush made it thru 1 side window each and broke it is 22 degree's in Boston. 2/08/21 . Didn't Paricon test them for cold weather duability.
We have never had no issues with their winter sleds especially the lightening sleds. We have had some kids play rough on them and even donated a bunch to some boys. They all got left outside in our harsh winters with no complaints. We enjoy their driveway games also. Buy their products and see for yourself. Satisfied customers here.
We have sold Paricon products in our hardware store for years and never had any quality issues. In fact we going to bring in a substantial amount of product for the fall of 2016.
