Paragon Casino Resort Review

A local guides had a fantastic time at the Paragon Casino and hotel this place is beautiful this is probably the best Casino in Louisiana all the way from the valet to housekeeping these people are fantastic to the casino and so much to do here Marksville

Not a good experience our first time staying in the South Tower. The hallways were filthy with popcorn. We checked into our room and the bed was half-made it looked like - pillows out of place and not tucked into sheets like normal. We let it go because it wasn t a big deal to us I guess. Then we found leftover ribs in the mini fridge. I took pictures of all of it and went down to the front desk. They didn t even question me and immediately booked us a suite down the hall. We still had to pay the price of our original room. I didn t mind but we got into our suite and I was disappointed at the cleanliness of it as well. Mirrors were dirty, found a candy wrapper, it definitely hadn t looked like some furniture had be wiped or dusted. The top sheet looked like it had an old gum stain. Very noticeable when making the bed. Hopefully they step up their maid services. Front desk was amazing though and all of the staff in the casino as usual. Not sure I would stay in the South Tower again though.

Just stayed in the RV park for the third time in a couple years. Absolutely love this place. The RV park is very nice with all paved spots and full hook ups. A free shuttle runs 24/7 to the casino. Had a great time. On Wednesdays they have a $25 buy-in Black Jack tournament that was really fun. Made it to the semifinals, but didn't win. Had $10 free play on my card so I played some slots and cashed out with $135. Drinks are free when gambling. They are very small, but that's okay. Everyone is so nice. Can't wait to go back. Maybe will be a destination instead of a one-night pass through next time.

Doesn't pay out anything worth my drive and that's every time I come to Paragon

Put us in a smoking room and had to wait until 4 for them to clean non-smoking room. A lot of problems with reservations. Another complaint is just one restaurant, the buffet.

I absolutely love staying at Paragon Casino and Resort. The staff is always very friendly and willing to go out of their way and above and beyond just to make their guests feel special or have a special moment whether it's their first time there ever or their hundredth time they try to make each time a special one. If you get a chance to go and play and stay definitely do so at Paragon in Marksville Louisiana

The rooms are clean and there's always a promotion going on. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but that's just how it goes! The lobby is beautiful, and there are different things for kids to do here. They have both smoking and non smoking rooms, and you can request a non smoking with a balcony if there is a smoker staying with you. The movie theater is nice, but I would recommend getting a blanket before going in! I walked out of there to go to the concession and told a worker I was about to freeze just in passing and he had a blanket for me before I walked back in. The alligator feeding is pretty cool to watch but you've just got to catch them when they're doing it. I've never been to the arcade or anything, but I've checked out the pool area and it was nice. We go probably 3-4 times a year and stay overnight.

The casino was okay. Went there for a concert which was great. The staff was very nice and helpful as well

Could not believed how long I played on such a little bit of money. I enjoyed the concert it was a perfect night

I went there on a weekend trip and really enjoyed myself. It felt good to get out the house for a bit and enjoy.

Casino was very nice. Food service average at best. Cold food on buffet slow service at the dinner.

Came here for the 1st time for a Convention very nice hotel and I loveddfd, the Casino

They have good perks for members and their customer service at their member club is wonderful, however the front desk was less than helpful and obviously less than thrilled to deal with us when we got there. Also none of the tables were open, probably because of the time we were there but when you have so many tables on the floor You should open more than just 3 at all times in my opinion.. I was pleasantly surprised at the frequency with which the cocktail servers came and offered us drinks at the slot machines ..so, over all it could be better but a pleasurable experience every time.

We love the Paragon, customer service is great, food is good, casino dealers are extremely fun to talk to and play with.

Food was horrible on the buffets. Check in was a disaster - room was ready but wouldn't let us check in. Room was moderately clean and dated in decor as was most of the hotel and casino. Waitresses for drinks were no where to be found. Slots we're tight. I wouldn't waste my time again here.

Loved it! Very family friendly! Has a beautiful in door swimming pool, cinema and gift shops. Reasonable priced food and drinks. Great wins by my friends! Great little get away!

Casino is clean and did a great job filtering cigarette smoke. Employees were kind. Buffet had a wide variety with a good presentation. Will be going back and staying at the hotel.

Paragon is a great place to get away, and if you know what machines to play you have a good chance of winning. Great staff, the security is friendly and it's never to crowded! They always have a month full of great promotions as well!

I won 2 jackpots here this year but lately they have been getting their money back

Paragon Casino Resort is located in Marksville, Louisiana. The rooms located in the North Tower are absolutely amazing. Majority of them have large jacuzzi tubs. The workers are very polite and helpful. They will get you what you need or want.

The room was big and had everything we could need. While we're there we walked the trails behind the casino and enjoyed the indoor pool to cool off. I was blown away by the spa facility and loved that I had access the the spa all day. I wish I could of had enough room for dessert at the buffet and won a little more money but that's my only complaint about my stay but while I was there I won double points for my birthday and plan on coming back soon.

Casino is great rooms are good Wi-Fi is acceptable kids quest also and pools are good and a movie place

Always a great time here! The rooms are beautiful and the staff is excellent. We love us some PJ and Felisha down at Big E's... try the grilled oysters! The seafood lasagna a must-have!

We have been coming to Paragon for many years. Must say this trip was disappointing. I found the staff from waiters, customer service and restaurants staff very unfriendly and some just rude. And, the friday seafood buffet was just flat no good, considering the cost.

Paragon management needs to retrain the staff, that customers are what make them a successful business...

We have never had this situation before. It may hinder the next visit.

Room was spotless. WeMt see Travis Tritt, which was the best concert I ever been too. Staff was friendly and helpful.

its nice , staff are very polite and the food is great , fun place to be and I really don't gamble very much

Great lunch buffets, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays

It was amazing and beautiful places to visit, I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was so big and comfortable like you just feel like you are on the cloud nine.

A friend of mine went to get a gift from the casino so I went with her, taking my grand baby with us. She was so excited looking at the lights from the machines and looking at the alligators. A long ride but an enjoyable experience.

The hotel is nice but the food at all restaurants is terrible.

Roxy's has good food at a good price also you can play a long time on a little bit of money

Restaurant wasn't that great. Very pricey and food wasn't all that great.

My favorite RV park. Spend New Years Eve there and had a great time at the casino.

Paragon casino is a far cry from what it used to be. Food at the buffet is from a can, almost impossible to get a beverage and the slots are the worst in the area. We used to visit there on a regular basis. Not so much now. Paragon sucks.

Check in was slow and the toilet bowl in the room was stained making it look nasty. We got stuck in an elevator for 30 min while we waited for help

Well ate at Roxy and took an hour to get food,no reason for it,there was not ot of people there.

Don't expect to win money! Tightest machines ever! But if you have a child and 500$ to burn. Your children will love spending time in kids zone!

Great facility and best RV sites around. Need a security gate. Problems with some outside guests.

Disappointing visit. Hotel (resort) was dirty. hallways were stained and were overdue for shampooing. food crumbs and paper debris in front of the housekeeping doors (3rd floor South Tower) and was still there from Friday to our departure on Sunday. Hotel/casino had a few restaurants. new cooks couldn't keep up in the cafe on the floor of the casino. waited over 45 minutes for two fried catfish plates (here's the kicker--it wasn't hot when we got it). plenty of room for gambling. staff was friendly. not coming back.

I don't recommend going here no microwave or refrigerator or coffee pot in rooms, they don't put ash trays in rooms, ice & vending machines broken and stunk really bad

So much to do here! Great for the entire family. Food, games, theater, spa, pool and more! If you're in the area, definitely check it out!
