An interesting visit with plenty of things to see for younger children and some animals as well. Relatively expensive for a day out. Just for wildlife I prefer ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoo.

It was nice at the time I went there, though the downpour of the night before made the weather not that pleasant.
There were few animal cages empty as the zoo was waiting for new feline to arrive, but overall the experience has been nice.

Loved the bird section and the cage where you can enter and get small parrots flying over you.

I think I will go there again again as soon as the weather will improve.

Excellent. Had a great day and really enjoyed it. Most memorable we had a young lady called Stephanie in the cafe who explained all the menu to us and was the most polite and friendly person you could wish for. She went the extra mile to help. Overall a great day. Thank you.

The staff were exceptional and very informative. They have volunteers there raising money for the animals. All the animals seem super well looked after and relaxed. Just a great day out for all the family.

Really good day out, BUT bring your own food because its of really cheap, of poor quality and choice (fish fingers, cold prepackaged sandwiches, chips, onion rings, lots of fizzy drinks, etc.).

I can t believe they don t try to make an effort to make more money by offering freshly made sandwiches, a salad bar or even pasta

So much to see and do, especially for little ones...even on dull days.Highlights? Great selection of animals, some rare..white tiger in Majestic..and its home to the national Speedway museum...indoor play areas too!

Not value for money and unsupervised some area as my 8 yrs son had an accident in the go kart area and nobody was there, plus you pay entrance fee then you have to pay individually if you want have go at any ride or attraction.

Restaurant are very dirty and all the toilets are in Porter cabin and smell of urine.

Lovely zoo outside the hustle and bustle of London.

Lots of exotic animals like white lions, tigers, etc. All the enclosures are on the small side and the penguin section made me sad, bit plenty to see for kids and adults alike. Petting zoo with goats, sheep, pigs for the kids to feed.

Plenty of picnic tables for the savvy visitor: we tried the dining option. Don't be fooled by the "premium burger" - there is nothing premium about it, not even sauce! We'll return but will bring our own food and drinks next time...

Plus: Plentiful free parking and surprisingly decent free WiFi!

Minus: paying a couple of quid for the worst mini train round ever: plastic dinosaurs and a recycled Kung Fu Panda sculpture? Save your money...

Had a fantastic day here on bank holiday Monday. The park itself was great, the enclosures for the animals were nice. You can see how well all of the animals are looked after in all aspects of their life. There was plenty to do and see, the prices are very reasonable. While here my wife hand fed the Tigers and it proved to be a magical experience, she had the time of her life and being up close with this big cat makes you realise how majestic they really are. All in all and fantastic day. Have to give a shout out to all staff we came into contact with, professional, friendly and a credit to the park.

Summary - your children will love it and you'll probably love your children loving it. Go after spring 2020 when it'll be fully operational again.

Good points - there are some extremely beautiful animals that you can get reasonably close to. Our favourites were the squirrel monkeys, snow leopards, tigers, lions and an enormous anaconda.

This is really a very nice and wanderful park. Clean and very safty. Kids has the posibility to feed animals. They also were very surprised by the dinosaurus park. For hor summer day the spash zone is really very usefull. Also, nice places for picnik, few nice caffes and places were to eat. We really enjoid it.

Been visiting here since I was a child. So 20+ years. And it's always been magical. Special. Absolutely wonderful every single time.
I'm in love with the Bat Cave. Id spend all day in there alone!
I can't wait to be taking my children there one day.
But even as an adult, I visit as often as I can. Because it's a magical place. A special place to me.
And I hope it never changes. It only gets better and better each time. I love it so much.

Our son is nearly 3 and there was so much to do, one thing after another in his age range. The dinosaurs are a must, they are amazing we went round that bit 3 times, they move and can even see them breathing so clever. All the animals were More

Worth a visit just for the dinosaurs. The rest of the park, whilst good, is starting to look tired. But there did seem to be some projects running so may be they have this in hand. If you plan on buying food there pay attention to what food stalls sells what, this is clearly displayed but we didnt pay attention and we were in the wrong end of the park for sandwiches and kid's weren't too impressed having to walk past a pizza stall and a burger stall. All in all a great day out.

Animals were great. Staff not great, exceptionally rude to me and my friends. Would recommend if you go, don't speak to staff as they most likely will give you dirty looks, nor replies and not help you in the slightest.

A great wildlife park that's fun for all ages! They have a nice variety of animals, in particular the amount of different big cats. The food is reasonably priced and they have lots of play areas for children.

So much to do and see this has to be one of the best zoos I've been too in a long while. Food and drink stations are rather expensive so if reccommed taking your own food and drinks.

We also did a sloth experience where we got to feed them and some tiny little marmoset monkeys and a very cute little armadillo.

The staff and zoo keeper that took us on the experience were so friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be coming back.

A really great day out for all the family but will definately go back with the kids, so much for them to do here. We loved the idea of having an upper level to view all the big cats, get a really good view.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Such a huge number of clean happy looking animals from the red panda to the white tiger! So much to see and so much to do. We went for my sister's 18th birthday and purchased an experience to feed the Red Panda. (This was absolutely worth every penny and we will be returning to tickle a tapir one day soon!) These experiences are to be booked online in advance as they can't guarantee it will be available to purchase on the day because only one of each animal experience is available pet day.

Staff were all very welcoming and knew all there was to know about the animals they cared for.
Food is available to buy and there is also a large picnic area too if you take your own. The play areas are huge and super fun both indoors and out.
I would 100% recommend this place and it was absolutely worth the 4 hour car journey down there that we made to visit.
I can't wait to go back! We are planning a visit in summer when the children can enjoy the splash park without freezing!
Our 3 and 6 year old children loved it here as did all 4 adults.
