Really enjoyed our time at Paradise today. They have spent a lot of money improving it. Great dinosaur park, for adults & children. All the animals look in good health & good viewing windows for the white lions & beautiful tigers.

The dinosaur park was the perfect place to take an excited 3 year old for a sunny afternoon. The animatronics wowed and there's enough to entertain for a good hour. The animal attractions although beautifully presented, seemed cramped for the animals within them and squeezed in for another attraction rather than anything to do with conservation. There also seemed to be too many people there, social distancing was hard to say the least.

Had an amazing day out with the family. This lark isn't too big, but they are currently working on another enclosure for Tigers which is due to open October 2020. You could probably see all the animals they've got at the moment in around 1 or 2 hours.

We travelled over 2 hours for the best day we have had all year, so many well cared for animals to see, you will not be disappointed, the dinosaurs are amazing truly an eye opening adventure...

Really enjoy paradise, it s not the largest place but had lots of animals and great viewing platforms. Suitable for young children without having to life them up to see the animals. Not extremely cheap but a good price for what you get to see. As a photographer I find this place great to get photo s of animals without having to get on a plane.

Went once and ended up buying the yearly membership. We go once a week and my 2 year old absolutely loves it. She asks to go most days. Great dinosaurs, friendly staff and some interesting animals and bugs, she especially loves the python, gibbons and spiders.

Not quite as good as Woburn Abbey, which has to be the best given you can do a game drive through their sections and are guaranteed to see the big 5 there. Here you will not. A lot of construction currently going on so perhaps delay a visit until that is all finished. Right now, you may find it hard to find some of the cats, for example.

I purchased a Tiger experience for my wifes 30th, I excpected it to be good but it was incredible.. it was so much more than expected, Hannah our keeper for the experience was so enthuisatic and knowledgeable, we really felt the value of her time and ours with the animal.. the wildlife park isnt the biggest but it is the BEST for actually viewing animals. Thank you!

Expensive entry price for size of place especially as everything inside seems to be extra. That said a nice day out and the dinosaur attraction was good. Small enclosures for the big cats.

Recently enjoyed the breakfast with the big cats experience. This was a truly brilliant experience. We were guided around all the cats and given talks about the lives and where they have come from. The continental breakfast was as it should and the staff are brilliant. Thank you to Miles and Vickie for a great morning.

To be fair, I don't think we were seeing it at its best due to covid restrictions and the work they were carrying out. It was well organised though with staggered entry and one way systems (shame some people chose not to follow them). The animals we did see were great though.

Really sweet place especially to take the little one in the summer, there is an outdoor pool there, all the animals which you can feed most of them, cafes for food and drink & there is also a secret garden where you can get married with a marquee!
There is a massive play area and park which kids and go to! This is a real nice place to go to especially in the summer six weeks holidays! You can go on the train which takes you all around!
The price to get in is a little expensive but again you can easily spend a whole day here with the animals and feeding the animals, getting food at the cafe and going to the swimming area! You can also do one to one experiences with the meerkats and lemurs etc if you go onto to the website and it s a little pricey but it s definitely worth it

What an incredible place! First time visiting with two toddlers and an 11 year old and they absolutely loved everything! The animals, the dinasours, the playgrounds, everuthing was kept so well and secure we are signing up for memberships even though we come from London love it, keep up the good work!

A lovely place to bring children. All the animals look well looked after however I cannot help but worry that the space some of them have is not enough. We went on a cold, damp new years eve, but we still managed to make the best of it and watching a 4 year old thoroughly enjoy herself.

I have been here twice it is really good! The dinosaurs are brilliant the animals are lovely the white lions are amazing and the tigers. The best looking camels we have ever seen!
Admission very reasonable. Children love it.
And coffee really good and strong. Children had turkey dinosaurs and chips and went down really well.
Last visit late October 2020 had 3 children with us age 9+6 and we had a good time.

Im a zoologist student. I was forced to go here as part of my corse. This zoo is oddly expensive, esceptionally noicey, small, & weirdly laided out. Without getting into it too much the enclosures are awful. Fair they can always be worst but they dont seem to understand ethology or care for the animals expressing natural or pseudo-natural behaviours. I went to a keeper to ask questions for an essay im wrinting and asked what schemes they have in place for feeding and inrichment. They don't do anything new or different, mabye only a couple of tines a year. All in all this is a s*** zoo, id close it. Save your money and go to london zoo, atleast you'll have signal there - did i not mention enfield bairley has signal, broxbourn strait up DOESN'T. The only nice part of this zoo is their dinosaurs section if thats your thing or if you have kids. Your ticket get you entry to both sections.

I am sure that before covid it was a nice place to visit with children but with the anxiety of social distancing and picking up the virus from surfaces it was a stressful visit. The one way system was unclear and there were no staff manning the pinch points or childrens play areas. There was no obvious evidence of surfaces being cleaned regularly and the toilets were messy and not in good condition with no, one in one put policy in operation. Although you were required to purchase tickets for specific entry times, once you were in you could stay all day, which seems a completely crazy way of managing capacity. It's a small zoo, with very small enclosures for some very large animals, sad really, but the animals environments made creative use of limited space.

Excellent day despite rain. Two children 8 and 3 thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Food good and reasonably priced. Excellent views of animals. Covered and indoor play areas a definite hit. Will visit again as good value for money.

Always a wonderful day out. The kids especially love the Dinosaur exhibit and the Lagoon. There's plenty of parking and several places to get a range of reasonably priced food and drink. There's even a nice picnic area.

The face painting is another highlight for children and adults alike. We've been bringing the children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews for more than twenty years. Highly recommended.

Took a group of kids with special needs here and they loved it. The staff were really helpful and it was just the right size. It's not like the huge zoos where you do loads of walking, it's perfect for younger kids or our group of special needs. Lots of accessible areas and lots of places to go inside if it rains too.

I adore animals so my family treated me to the breakfast with the big cats experience. We were all fooled by the 'wildlife park' title. Whilst it was amazing to see these animals, many of them were very stressed and understimulated in their small enclosures, which resulted in them pacing backwards and forwards. After directing this to the tour guide, he lied to us by claiming that the animals were 'waiting for food', which after working with animals myself I know is simply not true.

Excellent place for a day out with the kids. It is not the biggest zoo but there is more than enough animals to see. There are many indoors and outdoors play spaces for children of all ages and excellent facilities. Food is ok as well. It seems that this place has been created to host families with young children.

An excellent day out with friends and the kids. Loads to see and do and really engaged/enthusiastic staff, which was a plus.

My only criticism, and this is true of many zoos, is the big cat enclosures. I appreciate the trade off between cost, visitors being able to see the animals up close and giving the animals the space they need, but as always I felt they just didn't have enough. That said, they did have more room than at many other places I've been too, and although the cheetah lacked muscle tone and was pacing around the enclosure it was otherwise very well looked after.

On balance though I'd definitely recommend for a day out with the kids, and will almost certainly be back.

Got the Groupon deal for this, overall very happy.

I have been to a few zoos and wildlife parks around London, this is definitely the best in terms of getting up close to the animals via your feet (the other best one is Wolburn Safari using your car).

They have lots of animals not including Rhinos, Elephants, Giraffe aka big animals that need lots of room to roam.

The highlight of the park are the Lions, tigers, cats in general you can get arm length to them.

Be warned the place is catered to children and have lots of kids zone areas.

Only downfall is the facilities in terms of food, most of the places where closed on a Monday at 2pm. Had to settle for the vending machines to feed myself.

Would I go again?
Yes, but only with a deal like Groupon, wouldn't spend the full price on the ticket.

P.S check out the bike museum and nature trails, most miss this where you can see foxes and more animals.

Paradise Park is off the beaten track in the middle of some beautiful countryside.
We visited to have an experience day (Shadow a Zoo Keeper for the day) it was AMAZING!! We spent the day alongside several Specialist Keepers getting a behind the scenes look at certain animals habitats, preparing their food and feeding them by hand. The Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and really welcoming - they are passionate and look after the animals as if they are their own!
We had complimentary food & drinks provided and sufficient free time to look around.
A superb, well organised and exciting day!! Recommended!

1 way system made us miss some areas that were closed early and didn t enable the kids to go back quickly to animals they liked. A lot of closed areas and refurbished areas. I wouldn t recommend going to the zoo if your paying full price until all these restrictions are lifted.

Such a variety of things to do. Animals, especially seeing lions so close up the glass is a Great idea. The dinosaurs brilliant, with movement and sound and the lagoon to cool down. Lovely day out.
