Been here a few times now. Definitely lots of fun for the family. It can be pretty pricey. If you are military go through the MWR. They put on a great show, they change it up often so that's always a good thing. Lots of activities to do. The food is pretty tasty for buffet style.

Terrible experience, horrible customer service, and not worth the money! You spend over $100/person to arrive 2 hours before dinner and the activities are very minimal and chintzy. What they are really doing is trying to sell you more stuff. Everything is an upcharge. Dinner is on cheap and old plastic chairs and you are crammed tightly so they can het in over 500 huests. Buffet is very basic and limited. They don't provide sodas, tea, Nd water is out of a plastic cooler that looks dirty. Show is ok but again very basic minus a few fire tricks. Again definitely NOT worth the money or experience.

There are a few Luau's on the island and this one was super fun. If you're staying at a hotel, a tour bus will come pick you up where the tour guide will entertain you during the ride. Once you get there, you follow your bus into the luau location. The food is served as a buffet style where each table gets a turn to pile on the food. The night is mixed with mai tai's, a traditional pig ceremony, hula and fire dancing which is super fun to watch.

Best luau on Ohahu! This is our second time here and we had another amazing experience. Our servers and hosts did an excellent job. The show is top notch. We love the fire knife dancing. I can't wait to come back again. Make sure to leave early if you are coming from Honalulu, traffic can get busy.

The food was better than what I had at Polynesian Cultural Center. Only one firedancer performed- which isn't bad but expected more. Entertaining show and a lot to do prior to the buffet as long as you do everything before the tour buses arrive...after that the lines get too long. Bring Mosquito Repellent! I put Skin So Soft on my family and we didn't get bit. One of our friends that didn't wear bug repellent was "getting bit a lot" (her words not mine)

Very good, worth the ticket amount. We bought one day before going, they still had tickets for sale. Everyone was very receptive and with activities to entertain us. The show is an incredible spectacle.

Ruth Ann makes the best drinks. My favorite luau on Oahu. I liked that I was greeted with a drink and had activities to participate in before eating. Food was quite good as well and the show was great.

The preshow activities are fun and the setting is gorgeous, but the food is barely above average. Our guide on the bus ride was a lot of fun and brought great energy to the group. If you don't plan on drinking, you can use your drink card towards purchases of souvenirs and photos.

Definitely worth my money. Indeed it is one of the best Luaus in Oahu. It was so much fun and the view was spectacular (right at the beach, overlooking the sunset). It was beautiful. The activities were simply fun: the spear throwing, Polynesian "bowling," tattoo stations... Didn't get to make leis, but we got a few memorable mini-shows prior to the evening spectacle. They all relate to Polynesian traditions; it was enlightening.

The organization was remarkable as well; everything was simply smooth sailing. You know that they would not disappoint by how organize they were. I love it. I even loved the fact that they gave you a 12$ credit, which you can use not only to buy drinks, but souvenirs as well as photos taken of you and your group.

I think one of the best parts was when they encourage their dancers to interact with people before and after the main show. It was a very welcoming experience to get to talk to the dancers.

The basic package was enough for our group, but even so, we had a wonderful time. For our first luau, on our first trip to Hawai'i, it most certainly was a highlight of our trip.

NB: Highly encourage to bring something to warm yourself up at night because it got really cold and windy when we were there.

When in Hawaii, you gotta come to a luau. Unfortunately, I went during a weekday so there wasn't a huge amount of people, but that could also be a good thing. Walking in, we were greeted with leis and a complimentary mai tai, but it was a bit weak understandably. The staff was absolutely great and we wanted to show our gratitude as a thank you for working hard to have things go as planned. If anyone working there is reading this, just know I appreciated all of your hard work and courteousness. There were actually a lot of things to do like kayaking, javelin throwing, and a traditional Hawaiian game or sorts. The food was great and there was plenty for seconds so I probably ate too much. The show itself definitely captured the beauty in Hawaiian culture, as well as Polynesia. There's also many places where they will take your picture for you, and depending on the package you got you can get pictures for a bit of a discount. I'm definitely glad I bought some pictures. Ugh I could go on and on about my time there, but just know that my s.o. and I had a great time.

Was really looking forward to the luau, but was disapppointed. Pricey ($100) for something that felt like a weak state fair. The pork was good, but the rest of the food seemed store bought. The activities are appealing to 5-10 year olds, and are the only deal for the first 2+ hrs. The show was nice, wish it had started earlier.

I went to a couple (different company) luaus several years ago (20 ish). Maybe it's the industry in general, but the whole thing just seemed so dissingenuous -- like a campy Vegas act. I know they do the same show every day, and it felt like it.

The MC was sickingly rehearsed and fake, Like a robot. She reminded me of a scene out of a Douglas Adams book.

The activities/events all lasted only a few minutes.

The audience inclusion parts were silly, and appealing only to those under 10 or over 60.

Next time, I'll go to a much smaller show and avoid "the best".

I wish I could give negative stars. total rip-off. Bus did not pick me up as planned, so I had the choice of spending 70$ on a Lyft or not going at all and losing the $180 I spent for the VIP package. Stupid me, I got a Lyft Company would not refund my money and insisted the driver was there, but funny, no one in the hotel saw them. Anyway, I got there late, and missed out on the "games." What a laugh. They have some guy weaving head bands and you can put flowers on them but are expected to tip him. Everything is an extra cost. The drinks are made from rotgut alcohol. Nasty. The food is pure garbage. I felt like they are only interested in gouging tourists. The bus was kind enough to give me a ride back to the hotel (sarcasm). But it was torture. Our "guide" was named Emma, and she screamed at everyone the whole time, called everyone "cousins," and made lewd jokes, also made everyone sing along and dance in their seats to dumb songs like YMCA. She even sang "The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round" in an irritating way. But back to the luau - it was like Lawrence Welk was having a Hawaiian show. So crappy. Not once but twice, were audience members made to come on stage and dance. There were about 700 people there. I did not pay to see kids get on stage and do a hula. It was probably the worst experience in my life that was supposed to be pleasurable. Please do not waste your money on this claptrap.

Unfortunately we were rained out and they cancelled the show in the middle of dinner. But before that there were lots of fun activities to do. I think the food was good, but in our case was very soggy due to the rain. The staff was super kind.

This was my second luau and I found this one to be pretty good. I'm sure all luaus are decent in their own way. I liked that this one had lots of activities like temporary tattoos, spear throwing, lei making, canoe rides and a bunch of demonstrations. I liked that they were able to have everyone seated in bleacher like seating around the imu when they talked about the process of cooking the pig and they made a mini show of pulling it out of the ground. This was unlike the other luau that I was at where you had to cram around and hope you could see. They give you a swipe card with some credit on it to spend on drinks and gifts just make sure you spend it in the gift shop where they accept the card. My mom made the mistake of buying something from the little stall by the demos that she could of bought with the credit in the gift shop. The food was pretty standard quality, good but nothing to write home about. The show was really good but it didn't really tell a story. There was one fire knife chief dancer that was really good I just wish there were more of them. More fire = better show in my opinion. I'd say it was worth the doing.

First, I'm from the Deep South and accustomed to insects, especially during an outdoor event, but this was ridiculous. Flying termites were all over my legs, in my food and kept getting into my drinks. I told the staff and the reply was "yeah, we have a lot of bugs in Hawaii". Seriously? After shelling out over $300 for two Royal Box seats that's the response? The people in the main audience didn't seem to have this problem so I'm guessing the "Royal Box" needs some pest control treatments. If the sitting area is this bad I don't want to see what the food prep area is like. Very disappointed since the show itself seemed great but my wife and I couldn't enjoy it for fending off the insects.

Very expensive. Mostly worth it. Get here before 5pm for good seats. Seating is assigned in order of arrival. Lots of events to partake in before the dinner and show. Full bar has standard bar priced beverages. Everything is pretty good.

I would highly recommend this luau. The bus service was nice, since I had not rented a car. The activities before the performance are cute, probably best suited for families and children (grease pencil tatoos, lei making, coconut husking demonstration, fishing demonstration). All of the staff were really warm and helpful. The music was excellent--live music was going the entire time, and a full band backed the dancing performances at the end of the evening. The food was great--a good variety. Overall, though, the performances at the end of the night were really what made the experience. The dancers were tremendously talented and showcased a variety of dance styles and costumes covering many of the Pacific Island countries. For an all inclusive package, this was an excellent deal.

Beachfront location is 5 star. Drinks were great. Sunset and the view was extremely beautiful. Staff super friendly. We were a party of 8 adults and we all had a wonderful time. The activities and actual show was great! Only thing they can improve on is the food options.

Enjoyable activities in addition to the luau, and the show was good! I was on a tour and I guess I don't really like this large of an activity. The food looked good, and out group seemed to like it. There were vegan options for me, and it was plenty of food. For me it was meh, touristy, but everyone was nice. I've been before, so maybe I'm just over that kind of touristy Hawaii experience. I don't have anything bad to say about it, and the dancers and performers are very talented!

Paradise cove is great with entertainment and activities to kill time before the show starts. There is also much history to learn through the experience. The food is mediocre, but definitely worth the experience.

The location and scenery are wonderful. The various activities for tourists are good. I have to complaints. First the employees speaking into microphones talked to fast and it was difficult to understand the words. At the imu ceremony the music was great but so loud that we could not understand the words to the songs or the spoken words.
Second was the food - plentiful and tasted good but hey I can get the same thing at Chili's. I took guests so they could experience luau food. grilled veggies and fried chicken are what is served at a church social in middle America not traditional food for luau. Where was the long rice, the purple sweet potatoes etc.???? All in all good luau with those two exceptions. Dancers, Fire Dancer and show was great.

Good entertainment and super friendly staff. But the time on site could be reduced by an hour. Not much to do for first two hours - limited games and activities that could all be done in an hour.

Had a lot of fun at this luau. The shows and dancing were so much fun. This is a perfect evening for a hawaii trip. The food was pretty good and buffet style. The sunset view is beautiful as well.

Only downsides were it was really far away (with so much traffic!) and it was honestly more family friendly then I wanted for my honeymoon.

But highly recommend it!

Expected more for the price of admission. To be fair, the view/sunset was very nice and the staff was friendly. The buffet style food was good and had a lot of vegetarian options. The costumes were very beautiful and the show was good, though I feel it's a bit oversold. Don't expect to be able to do most of the activities, since there is a lot of people and the waiting lines get long and they are on a schedule. I feel the seating arrangement for the show is not optimal since you're eating were you watch the show and you are not necessarily facing the stage. Great for families and the atmosphere is very festive. Finally, don't expect to learn much about the culture, you would probably be best served at the polynesian cultural centre if that is you're goal. Overall a pass, but would not go again.

Absolutely stunning location but the overall quality of the show during dinner could have been better. They took several breaks in their performance leaving the audience in silence. I wish they would have played music or had smaller acts perform during those times as the tickets were not cheap. Overall great place and I will be back.
