Pretty cool experience, they had lots to do before the show started and I love that they give you credit so that you may buy things at the store or beverages. We used our credit money to pay for our pictures they took at the beginning food was very good too!

I hate to be a Debbie Downer but this was a big let down and buzz-kill. Going to a Luau was on my bucket list for Honolulu, but after my husband and I went, we felt like we completely waisted our money. I know now that I would never pay to go to another Luau. It was pretty disappointing. We had tons of fun here in Honolulu and did all kinds of activities, but this Paradise Cove Luau was pretty boring. We would have rather spent $200 on a really nice meal than this place. The "activities" were kinda cheesey as well as the commentary. The food was ok, but just ok. The dancers were great, but kind of a let down on the fire dancing part since there was only one dancer.

Excellent luau experience. Traditional Hawaiian things to do before, great food, accommodating (reserved us a nice spot) for those with special needs (wheelchair), and the show goes throughout the whole evening. Could use some accessible mats for deep sand.

FANTASTIC!!! Everything about the Paradise Cove Luau was great. The food was delicious. The arts, and crafts were fun. The souvenirs were nice. The show was amazing, funny, and family friendly. The price was fare. The overall experience was just AWESOME!!! Just a note... take at least $20.00 in one dollar bills for tips, and "donations".

We have been going to the Paradise Cove Luau since 1987. It is the most enjoyable luau we have been to. The guide on the bus ride is entertaining and it is worth letting someone else bring you there and back safely. Someone just asked if you could take video during the performance, yes you can. Just be nice and don't stand up in front of people.

Loved it! Very interactive experience, wonderful hospitality, and tasty food. The kalua pork was my favorite! The entertainment was top notch. Even if you've been to another luau, definitely give this one a try!

Positives: 1) Food was great. We've haven't eaten out much here. Mostly cooked ourselves but this was the best we've had out.
2) Main show mostly very entertaining. A few parts got a bit slow, but mostly very good. My daughter and husband got up in stage for the hula lesson, she loved it. We left a little early due to tired kids so not sure what we missed.
3) Kids, even the teenager enjoyed getting his own little card to spend there. Glad this was included in the ticket because knowing me I would not have bought this as an extra.
4) Love our orchid lei's,
5) we got a very nice family picture that I used my spending card towards, we don't get pictures often enough so I'm pretty happy to have this.
The slightly negative.
1) A little drug out...if you arrive right at 5 the wait for the main show and feels too long. There is stuff going on but perhaps we were just too tired to find much enjoyment in it. I think it was around 7:30 before anything really got going and I had tired, whiny and bored kids by this time, although they did really enjoy the show once it started. If I went again. I'd skip most of this time and just show up closer to the main dinner and program. I think whether you would feel the same way would just depend on you.
2) Something added to the buffet for picky eaters (kids) would be good. Neither of my daughter's would eat anything except a roll and a piece of cake. I fed them shortly before we left since I expected that, but some chicken nuggets or something simple like that added would have made a nice option. The older kids and adults really enjoyed the food though and the buffet set up worked well and moved quickly.
3) A bit expensive but expected it to be, as is everything here.
Overall, glad we went and got the luau experience while here.

For my 1st luau I expected more! I upgraded my ticket, the only good thing about that was front row seating and a surprised free picture & lunch bag. The food served was mediocre, I ate the baked/fried chicken. The drinks was watered down, after 3 I didn't even have a buzz. The wait for activities was long, even heard the staff complain they was short staffed. No henna tattoos, just drawn marker.
The show was AMAZING!!! The Fire show & silhouette hula was my 2 favorite! Audience participation was also a bit much, rather see more of the performers. For almost $200 I was disappointed. You'll enjoy a beautiful sunset across the water... but overall you'll leave thinking maybe you should have made another choice on the island...

A unique cultural experience ..
The dances of the Hawaiian people, a ride in the typical canoes, fishing with a net and its gastronomy are the main star during the entire meeting .... WORTH THE GO

Awesome show and food. The barbecue was amazing! You also can t beat the views from here. The show is kid friendly and they try to get everyone involved. They also had a huge selection of adult beverages and they tasted great. You can t go wrong with this Luau. They have something for everyone.

I highly recommend the Paradise Cove Luau. It was a great Hawaiian experience and fun for all. Probably the best part of your tour is the guide. We got Cousin Flo who was VERY welcoming and fun to be with. She set the tone for the whole night! The dancers, the food, the activities, and heavy pour drinks made this a night to remember!

How can anyone say this is the best? Food was less than average so was show. The place is nice. I kind of felt they were herding cattle. The only thing that was nice other than the view was the drinks. Overpriced and overrated. I value this no more than 65.00 per person not the 130.00 we paid. I have been to others which offered more for way less.

Entertaining, worth every penny. There are so many fun activities and plenty of things to do.. for the whole family. They are very accommodating and really know how to make you feel welcome. And the food, FANTASTIC! If traveling in Oahu looking for a luau I highly recommend Paradise Cove.

Like all luaus it's a bit pricey but I thought it was definitely worth the experience. Food was much better than I expected (chicken was terrible but pork and fish was great). I highly recommend getting there at 5 so you can be at the front of the line to get in at 6 (unless you paid extra for premium seating). Lots of small things to do before the show starts and places to shop. The pictures the staff take are $20 if you choose to buy them $15 if you have military ID.

I definitely recommend this luau, but remember to get there early.

Kama'aina- took family from mainland and their friends from Germany on Easter Sunday. It was great! We enjoyed the show, the staff was awesome and the food was broke da mout' (delicious). Our guests talked about their experience repeatedly throughout the week. Thank you!!

The Paradise Cove Luau is a solid choice if you re looking for a luau on Oahu.
The Deluxe package is Fantastic. It s pricey but well worth the investment. You have no waiting in lines, you are greeted with genuine floral leis and each member gets merchandise credit cards for $15, good for beverages, gifts etc.
We had three children with us and the seating was stage side, this was a great view for the children.
The activities offered were fun and engaging for the kids not to mention the Lava flows were Amazingly tasty while watching the kiddos make palm hats and have ice cream. Upon entry, we were greeted with a stiff Mai Tai as the kids enjoyed virgin Mai Tai s. We were given Indulgent purple Orchid leis and had a Beautiful photo taken.
The meal was served to us by waitresses and the show was very entertaining. We really enjoyed the fire dance and to see it up close was a real treat and very memorable for all of us.
Overall, this was an exceptional choice for a luau and the food was good.
We have attended the Polynesian Cultural Center for their deluxe luau and show but honestly, the luaus were very comparable. The food selection was wider@ the cultural center but the shows were both very intriguing and informative.
The Renaissance Hotel, Wailea had the most authentic luau of all we ve attended but that was back in 2003.
This is the luau to attend if you re on Oahu.

Don't get sick the day of and expect them to help you out in any way. The rest of our group attended and said it wasn't very good anyway. Just really upset they made zero attempt to remedy the situation.

We went because my wife had never been to a luau and it was walking distance from our resort. If you have never been, I guess it's more fun. One warning though.. BRING BUG SPRAY! So many bugs there. It kinda ruined it for me.

This was my first luau and probably my last because this was nothing, and I mean nothing, like the reviews that I read just now or the things they show on their website. There was no shower of flowers with the guys in the trees. There were little to none on the arts and crafts. There was no canoe. There was no tug of war on the beach as pictured. Hell, there was no access to beach. The only game was the spear throwing. There was no pig, just a catered buffet. The food was ok, but there was no pig like they show in the video. The value of upgrading to the Orchid package was worthless. I wouldn't have even paid for the basic had I known it was going to be that bad. My girlfriend booked this luau based on the reviews and I came in with no expectations as I did not see reviews or their website. Just before leaving this review, I saw the website and other reviews and I a blown away that none of this happened. I was extremely disappointed that night and then further disappointed now that I saw what were were supposed get and and didn't get. I rarely leave reviews, but that night was so bad that I said to myself that when I got home I was going to leave a review. I will say that the location is great for the sunset, but that is it. They say no refunds, but after what I just read and saw others write versus what we got, I will be in touch with management.

Awesome fire knife dancer... Great servers, good food but if you get deluxe tgey bring your food so we ended up wasting a lot if what we wouldn't have chosen in the line.
Performers and staff are attentive and friendly.

All luaus are different and a worthwhile experience ... The setting here is the best for sure. Ko olina is gorgeous

Really nice show. Went with group of 10 and it was pretty easy to navigate activity area and fun for everyone. Parking was easy and a close walk to entrance. Main luau food was pretty good, would have like to see another dessert option other than just pineapple and choloate cake.

We were not sure if we wanted to do a Luau whilst in Hawaii as we didn't want to go to some degrading display of the Hawai'ian culture however after doing this one I strongly recommend visiting Paridise Cove for a Luau. The people doing them love what they do and perform beautifully with great respect to their ancestry.

The food is excellent and the evening is wonderful.

We did the Orchid Luau. There is an optional shuttle for $16 roundtrip per person which was fantastic and easy. They have a group leader who explains the process approx 5 minutes out. Once you arrive, youre greeted by friendly staff members and are given a lei, mai tai and take a photo with a couple performers. The food and entertainment was fantastic with the setting even more so as you could see the sunset in the horizon.

Paradise Cove brings a beautiful show, on arrival there is a welcome drink and wreath with flowers to hang around your neck, there are different prices depending on your place. A beautiful Luau, I have visited the Paradise Cove show several times, but in the end I like Chiefs Luau's show on the other side of the island.

The best luau I have ever been too. It has wonderful activities to do beforehand for everyone, kids too. The show was very entertaining and fun. They engage the audience. Great food. The service is excellent. We had a great time as a family, there were 10 of us who attended. We each loved it. So much fun!!

Great experience! Lots of different cultures represented along with the Hawaiians. The buffet was good, roast pork, BBQ chicken and fried fish with all the sides. Would have loved to see more fresh fruits. Definitely an experience for the traveler with family or spouse alone.

The performances and location are superb and last for roughly 2 hours. There are several activities to do before the main performance starts. Ticket office opens at four and gates open at five and I recommend arriving early because lines are long. The food was ok, nothing that blew my mind. The cove cards (currency used at Paradise cove) does not cover many things like drinks or shaved ice. I had to spend it at the gift store, where most items can be bought at the walmart tourist section. Overall I had a wonderful time and a great experience

This is a great luau, we were on bus number 2 which was headed by Rich, he had the bus gearing up and ready to participate in the luau. Once we arrived we were greeted with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks which was cool. They ran out of lei necklaces which was cool because we still received a necklace nonetheless. There are various activities to do once inside and each one is sounded by a conch shell to signify the start of an event. Everybody on site is so nice and accommodating. The food was nice especially for a buffet style feeding close to a 1000 people. The performers were on point they were energetic and into the performance which accentuated the show, the fire dancer was incredible. All in all a great show and great time.
