The Paradise Cove Luau is a solid choice if you re looking for a luau on Oahu.
The Deluxe package is Fantastic. It s pricey but well worth the investment. You have no waiting in lines, you are greeted with genuine floral leis and each member gets merchandise credit cards for $15, good for beverages, gifts etc.
We had three children with us and the seating was stage side, this was a great view for the children.
The activities offered were fun and engaging for the kids not to mention the Lava flows were Amazingly tasty while watching the kiddos make palm hats and have ice cream. Upon entry, we were greeted with a stiff Mai Tai as the kids enjoyed virgin Mai Tai s. We were given Indulgent purple Orchid leis and had a Beautiful photo taken.
The meal was served to us by waitresses and the show was very entertaining. We really enjoyed the fire dance and to see it up close was a real treat and very memorable for all of us.
Overall, this was an exceptional choice for a luau and the food was good.
We have attended the Polynesian Cultural Center for their deluxe luau and show but honestly, the luaus were very comparable. The food selection was wider@ the cultural center but the shows were both very intriguing and informative.
The Renaissance Hotel, Wailea had the most authentic luau of all we ve attended but that was back in 2003.
This is the luau to attend if you re on Oahu.
