Gewar place to go and explore calligraphy in all its forms. People are extremely helpful

This place is amazing not only for the products they carry ( this is nothing like Michaels or hobby lobby), but for the staff as well. I was having a bad day after getting lost trying to find the place ( Google fault), I had to have a converter for a fountain pen I purchased, and the young lady called another store ( no affiliation with them) for me to make sure they had what I needed while the other wrote down the directions on how to get there. I picked up a bottle of ink and the lid wasn't on all the way, spilling fountain ink on me and the floor, no biggie to them. They brought me special soap to clean my hands and finished helping me decide on my purchases, walking into that place being surrounded by all the things I love, and feeling understood about my creative passion was the best feeling ever! $210 later in was one happy camper.

Calligrapher's and Letterer's dream! Nice selection. I'm not really into calligraphy but I love gouache watercolor and mixed media. I love trying new art supplies. I got some pens gouache watercolors and a sketchbook and DIDN'T spend a fortune. Yay! They have a cool clearance section with all kinds of stuff. They were very nice and so helpful with everyone that came in. It was a fun place to browse on a Saturday and I suggest you check them out. They also have fun classes you can take as well. And when you're done you can grab some tacos right across the street!

One of the best places to purchase supplies for any calligraphy enthusiast! They have a large selection of nibs at a great price and my products were packed perfectly. The shipping is affordable and quick as well. I have made two online orders with them and will continue to shop here.

This is an amazing shop with such a talented and helpful staff! I had ordered online in the past but was fortunate to visit the store from out of state to take Suzanne Cunningham s intro to copperplate class. I was blown away by the selection of supplies for all styles of calligraphy. I thought I had tried or at least seen almost everything that s out there but I found myself discovering so many new supplies thanks to the helpful staff. They also have absolutely gorgeous handmade papers. The store also did an exceptional job facilitating the class I took. Great communication start to finish and I learned so much! They have a customer for life. Let me preface this by saying that they have the lowest prices and shipping you will find. I searched for hours to find the best deals. When I received my order, the two black pens I ordered had the wrong tip thickness. I emailed Josh (Customer service extraordinaire) and offered to keep the pen I had opened and pay for it because I actually really liked it and he replied the same day telling me to keep the pens and that the correct pens were being shipped the same day. I ordered the original pens on a Monday afternoon and I received them Thursday morning with basic shipping.

Every time I order from PIA, I wonder why I ever shop for supplies at the big box stores at all. Such a seamless process from finding the items I need to checking out and not to mention their lightning fast shipping. Definitely recommend if you're looking for quality calligraphy supplies.

I'm a noobie at lettering and calligraphy, been trying to find a good selection in a local store where I could put my hands on what i want to buy instead of just ordering and hoping for the best. After seeing recommendations on several sites and browsing their site, I decided to pay them a visit and it was worth the time. Kyle was very helpful and he took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the nibs and holders I chose. Will definitely be back.

The staff was super friendly, great selection of calligraphy supplies, beautiful layout. I especially liked the table they had set up where you could try out some of the items.

My present to myself whenever I m in the area!! The most wonderful notebooks for songwriting and list-keeping and journaling at super-reasonable prices and buttery inked pens that make writing and drawing a dream. I also love Nashville s Crowing Hens Bindery hand-sewn little notebooks and ledgers. There are creative supplies and books for kids and adults and classes and new items all the time, great music and warm and helpful staff. (And the Mexican restaurant across the street s for good food.)

This place is continuing to grow! The website is sparse in fountain pen related items but the store is an entirely different matter. They don't have too many inks yet but a nice selection of pens and the lovely lady said more were incoming. An amazing selection of paper and calligraphy products as well.
