I recently hired Pals to update my RPR for sale of my property and obtain a compliance certificate. When I called Melissa was very quick to respond. She informed me of what to expect and the timelines. They were faster than anticipated. I would recommend them!
They responded quickly to my emails. They had a crew out within 5 business days. Their surveyor found property pins that the previous company that did the RPR did not locate. Got done what i had asked/paid for and a little more then expected. Everything is very clearly marked. HIGHLY recommend their services and will be using them if we need to at our next home.
For well over a decade we have been working with Pals Geomatics in the creation of site plans. Their office staff has always been professional, friendly, quick to respond, and extremely knowledgable. Pals always manages to stay on top of things for us, and are extremely informative. This was an easy 5 stars to give.
Friendly and efficient. I mistakenly thought I needed to redo my grading certificate and instead of letting me make my mistake, they called me and told me I likely did not need to resurvey and just needed to contact city. Made my day knowing I saved $170! When they came to do the survey they were friendly and introduced themselves too. Great experience overall.
I didn't actually use this company, but when I was calling around for quotes on real property reports, this was the only company that told me to use the original surveyor because they would be quite a bit cheaper. When I stated I didn't know who the original surveyor was, they looked them up for me and provided their contact information. I wish I had gotten the name of the lady I spoke with because she deserves special mention as well. I was impressed and greatly appreciate their honesty and help!
The surveyors took a long time to come to my property, then they took a long time to draft the Real Property Report, and so by the time everything was said and done I had to pay a rush fee to get the city compliance in time for closing.
I paid the rush fee, but then they just never sent it in to the city.
So now they're applying for rush compliance because I called them and asked what the hold up was; eight days after it should have been sent.
In their defense, they refunded the compliance fees, but honestly, the money is not the problem. I need the compliance before closing date on the sale of my house!
So I suggest you use someone else. Anyone else.
EDIT: Updated to two stars because they were able to get my RPR compliance before my house closed, if only barely.

Poor curtosy. Did not ring doorbell upon arrival despite my doorbell being lit up 24/7 with no blockage at the front door. Claimed that it was "tucked away" and "knocked" instead. Did not explain why they were on my property until confronted. Also got the path leading up to my front door muddy, attempted clean up on confrontation but poor job done. I had just had the outside of my house professionally cleaned. Called company to voice complaint but company made excuses and did not offer any form of compensation or proper apology. Would apologize and blame property owner or state "well, it doesn't look that bad". Poor PR. Would not consider in future for anything. Also did not pull out pink flagged pins upon job completion. Just poor experience overall.
I Absolutely recommend this company! Melissa is amazing. Their people are knowledgeable, accurate and truly customer focused.
