I love palm beach lakes, but unfortunately I move this year I didnt get a chance to graduate there,I really miss the school all of my teachers,my best friend .And also Mr Alfonso is doing a great job running the school.I really would love to go back.
I attended PBL HS from my sophomore year (2012) to graduation in 2015. I'll admit this school isn't the best ever but I couldn't imagine attending anywhere else during my high school career. This school has a vast diversity of backgrounds and ethnic groups that allowed me to experience a variety of new people and cultures. I personally was also in the medical academy where i had a blast learning with my classmates and gaining district issued certifications such as CMAA, EKG Tech, and many more. There are also numerous other academies. Like all other schools it has its ups and downs, with is fairly insubordinate students and I'll admit the lunches may not be the best in the business but their are a few mini alternatives across campus. The staff strive for student success, well like 95% anyway:P and their are numerous resources available for your success whether it be the great guidance counselors, after school tutoring, or media center resources, if you want success its all there for you! Yes there is a dress code, but honestly that just makes picking out your clothes that much easier;) In the end, Lakes was a great training ground for me and I can honestly say I grew and evolved, in a positive way, far more in these past 3 years there than I ever would have back home in Michigan...but hey that's just me check it out for yourself:)
I am class of 2017. This place is a good school. I only came to the school my junior year but i enjoyed my time there like every other highschooler. The guidance counselor Ms. Edmonds is amazing & i was blessed to have her.
This school ight it s really ok I mean besides the roaches and the 5000000 freshman s it s coo . This place I m sending my smart lil 8th grader to next year
I will be a graduate of 2018!!!! A current Senior. I am a PROUD Ram! There's no other school I rather be. What you want? Its at lakes. Join the Ram family
I attended Palm Beach Lakes High school 2012 to 2015 when I graduated. Originally it was not the school I wanted to attend I wanted to attend William T. Dwyer high school. But Palm Beach Lakes High school was a learning experience some things should be improve by the school but all in all you meet many people who are rude and kind. There is also teachers there who would love to see you succeed and teachers who would love to see you fell.
This is the worst school i've been to it has rats roaches and we are trapped like prisoners DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!!!!!!!! The high top schools send bad children here so their rates can go up save these kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE THIS SCHOOL AND UNFORTUNATELY I DIDN'T GET TO GRADUATE CUZ MY DAD MOVED ME TO CLARKSVILLE,VA IN MY 11th grade. I could have stayed with my best friends house where I would have graduated.
What did I like about this school ? Nothing at all. This is my first year attending palm beach lakes high school . I am a senior and this will be the worst of me this year . I am Puerto Rican and Mexican . This school is flat out BAD! The teachers suck ! The students have no respect to save their life. The school looks nasty like if it's not cleaned . Students that have attended this school for more than one year tell me they hate it. Hate hate hate hate it!!!! New students ( like me ) have already told me about their horrible experience here . Please do not send your child here . AT ALL ! if you are not black , Jamaican , Haitian , you will not fit in because that's all their is and they are MEAN PEOPLE .
I graduated this school back in 2008. But one thing I loved was our Principal Mr. Collins! He made school fun and an amazing learning environment. They weren't easy on us but they weren't too strict. They showed us tough love....which is what everyone needs these days. I didn't like the dress code but I did like the staff. The teachers, guidance counselors and some administration actually cared and listened to the students concerns, care and needs and tried to help as much as they could. I loved it and I had fun there. I'm not sure how much has changed but that's my input :)
