Officer Goddard. Has came to our work place many times even though on weekend we have private security he has stepped in and made sure that we were safe made sure no one was trespassing. We've have personal security that couldn't have been worse and officer Goddard has came to our resuce many Times. Definitely one of the best trained security. I've never seen the paladin lose his temper or ever get upset I've always watch him handle everything situation with the best attitude and maintained it along along. Definitely a five star

I thought hiring private security was intended to make customers and employees feel more secure, but instead, they drive paying customers away through intimidation. Paladin's security officer thinks it's okay for to give the middle finger to customers and trespass paying customers without a valid reason although the employees at the store said it's okay for them to make a purchase. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Paladin's if you value your reputation.
My new place to get my remedial training and firearms requals done. They offer much better rates and the instructors teach what you need to know and will use everyday; not relive the glory years to make you think you are going to war. I highly recommend then for all your security training needs.
I like that the management activity responds to these reviews. Iv'e lived in communities that use paladin and they've been great. I have tried to get employed here went on the ride along and haven't heard back. Any tips on how to gain employment here?
Worked for this Company for over 8 years. Had lots of fun and made lots of friends. I loved the opportunity to help others and made a difference in their lives. This company based their security structure on Law Enforcement because the Owners are very Pro Law Enforcement. Had the opportunity to work throughout Sacramento Region from Lincoln to South Sac. Had the choice to wear Law Enforcement style class A or go Tactical. Overall it was a fun place to work and felt like a family, but a disgruntle family. There were great Officers and Officers who were a**h**les and totally unprofessional. Some Supervisors were great, but some were d**ks. I worked hard, jumped through hoops and completed all courses for Supervisory work, but never promoted. If your a minority, don't even think about a leadership role here and go somewhere else. Overall I learned a lot from this company which propelled me into Law Enforcement and better Opportunities. The pay is pretty low for Armed and the turn around ratio is high. Great place to train for future Law Enforcement experience, but don't make it a career there.
I came here to attend classes that are offered here for exposed carry firearm permit the information that I received here was amazing as well as the classroom experience all of the instructors here are great. I plan to continue to come back for additional training and certifications that are offered here. I encourage everyone to come here and learn from these instructors.
After serving my country in the United States Marine Corps, and receiving an honorable discharge, I was able to gain employment with Paladin Private Security. Working for this company was my first private security job, and I was impressed with the level of staff found, in what many people consider a "rent a cop" industry. Many military and LEO veterans work here. Many lifelong security experts work here, especially the instructors associated with this company. As you can see there are 2 major types of reviews here. 5 star reviews are from customers or people in the community that Paladin helps. 1 star reviews are generally people that get arrested by Paladin, because they are hurting the community, or enablers/ sympathizers of criminals. For anyone complaining about this company's treatment of the homeless population, I would caution you to look beyond their situation and appearance. Many of the areas this company works are very dangerous (i.e. South Sac and North Highlands) and many of the homeless in these areas are violent felons and many are on sex offender lists as well. This is known by the Paladin Security Officers due to Paladins close work and relationships with Sac PD and Sac County. My very first night working with this company I was set to start my on the job training in South Sac. My training officer and I made one felony arrest of an armed homeless male for smashing in the glass door of a business he did not want to leave. Later that night we also assisted law enforcement in a second felony arrest in domestic assault done with a deadly weapon. This was in section 8 housing in the South Sac area. This was just the first night of my job, before I had my exposed firearms permit that allows security officers to be armed. At the time all I had to protect myself in these situations was pepper spray, a knife, and one hell of a coworker, who was armed to the teeth with all potential permits and equipment. God bless this company for truly protecting and serving the community. Every security job I had after leaving Paladin was terrible and it drove me out of the industry entirely, if i had stayed at Paladin that would not have been an issue. P.s. look at the language and attitudes of the people in the bad reviews and ask yourself if they really seem legitimate. Seems more like criminals and their mamas tired of getting arrested by what they call "rent a cops".
Worked here for almost two years and though the boss's can be hard asses its one of the best companies I ever worked for. The team work the training and general sense of family were awesome. If you need a good consistant professional private patrol these are officers you want to call.
And if your looking for a great place to work call them up you wont regret it.
