The casino of nice, but a little too smokey. Friendly table dealers.

My dogs and I love this place. And they love my dogs.
The staff was incredibly friendly, from the front desk clerk to the buffet employees even the cleaning lady was incredibly polite. The room was very clean and it felt like everything you would need was provided. Me and my wife ordered in some food and it was delicious, but the feast buffet was just as good and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. If you are looking for a recommendation I can easily give this one. Of the 12 places I've stayed in Vegas this was my favorite, followed by the MGM. The location was nice as it was not as busy as on the strip so it was much easier to get everywhere.
So, they remodeled rooms, left the older backside rooms as non smoking..Newly remodeled rooms cost more and allowed smoking... Makes no sense. Tornado tunnel between casino and block of rooms behind it, hold on during extremely windy days...the rooms that are not remodeled are in the back and to top it off, located in the back of the property with the trash cans and truck loading area. Not worth 80something a night and near 20 resort fee.. these resort fees are ridiculous..What resort?? Not impressed for a large chain of hotels. Room had that nasty air freshener smell walls were super thin, and if you're downstairs, expect to hear the room above you like they're right there in the same room.. lost a full night sleep due to this... No solution from the front desk other than an option of moving upstairs the following night which includes lugging all my stuff upstairs with no elevator option. I'm going back to a cheaper, nicer, (no footsteps on my head) hotel that offers rooms with patios for smokers in smoking rooms that aren't bad at all. At least there they upgrade their loyal customers if they don't have what the customer requested. Boom, drop mic.
The bed was comfortable but the carpet was so dirty it made mine & my girlfriends feet black. The shower wasn't cleaned before we checked in & they used gloves to make the bed then left them on the night stand. Security wasn't very good at their job either. I feel like they should've rode around the courtyard more with all the gangbangers & pimps riding around. Unsafe & dirty. Would not stay at that hotel ever again. Also they had police in a room with a cleaning lady for hours & she stayed in their for at least 4 hours. Extremely sketch. No police cars outside so no one would ask questions. Don't bring your children here!!
I lose every penny as soon as I step in the door. Tightest casino of all the station casinos.
Love it here...off the strip but I enjoy their tables and the rooms have been all upgraded as the buffet and gaming area.
it's currently under construction on the front part of the building and could use a face lift. this places off strip and you can find cheaper rooms cheaper food more cheaper way to experience Vegas
No places to eat, they're all closed. Some of us don't care to gamble.
The food was delicious. Great time with my babe. Vegas vibe
Stopped by the Oyster Bar at Palace Station. Always a bit of a wait but the food is amazing.
I like all the Station Casinos. Been to all of them in vegas. Never a bad time
The hotel staff is absolutely wonderful! Can't say anything for the casino but the food is delicious as well!
Pleasant place to eat the female security guard was very rude
New remodeled and what can i say about oyster bar that hasnt been said hahah pan roast!!!!
The buffet is an amazing value. Make sure you get the free players card to get the best deal to get in. You don't need to gamble at all, just get the card. They have a grill where they will make custom things like pasta. For the price the variety is good. It is a small buffet.
Rooms are really nice the old rooms are being torn down and they are renovating thank goodness
Saturday late night bingo. Amazing bartender & cool vibes all around! It's a must if nearby
Staff is always friendly... Great place for locals they don't treat you bad here....
Didn't care for it. Machines to close together. People banging into you all the time. Nice bingo hall,,,,terrible payouts
We only stopped here to go to the Oyster Bar, but the hotel looked pretty clean. The staff held our luggage and didn't kick us out when half our group slept in the lobby (don't do 530am flights when your Airbnb check-in is at 4). The food at the Oyster Bar was good and the staff was extremely friendly. I don't gamble, so I wasn't paying much attention to the casino, but there were a lot of slot machines.
Went to the Oyster Bar at 7am on Sunday to avoid the long waits. Got the famous pan roast and was not disappointed.
The rooms are nice, the restaurants are good, but it's REALLY smokey and you're far enough off The Strip that you're limited with things to do.
Everything was great i had a good time at the palace station a vegas icon. thank you Tim.
I haven't stayed in the hotel, but the place is nice. Recently remodeled so it's clean and modern. Parking is free! Oyster bar is here, so that alone is a reason to come!
Great place to play and drink for cheap. Play the Tie Bet Black Jack to make some money!!! I haven't stayed here but they do comp rooms and food easy.
WAS THERE FOR A BANQUET AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT.ROOM WAS A LITTLE. CROWDED,BUT NICE.
Overall nice place. Disappointed they decreased the size of the pub. Good place for a convention.
Not clean at all. Yes, the bathrooms are renovated- but the hallways are filthy and so we're the floors in the room-- disgusting!!! Spend extra money and stay elsewhere.
In regards to the buffet, great selection but the smell of old rags filled the air. Wood exposed on booth seats- ripped seats, unappealing.
Nice hotel and casino and you don't have to pay for parking
Great place to eat OYSTERS, but it is way to mu h smoking for my taste.
Decent lunch buffet, but the desserts and gelato were awesome!
The new palace station has a better air filter system, and nicer layout.
Very accommodating. Awesome restaurants. The staff were phenomenal. The new bingo Center is unreal. Sportsbook untouchable.
Everyone was so exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Great stay!
Been coming here for years- the new renovations/ buffet, restaurants and cinema are great
Choosing long route thru fwy wasn't necessary to save time.
Very wonderful Hotel to stay. Staff is very friendly and you would love it.
What they have done with the upgrades are amazing. We actually went two weekends in a row. It's offical we're the couple who hangs out at the Palace Station.
Nice and reasonably priced hotel. Great Oyster Bar and a fun poker room to play 2-4 Holden.
Only been to the Oyster Bar and loved it. Its worth the wait.
It wasn't bad for being in a construction zone. Loose machines. Buffet was good we enjoyed our self.
Very comfortable bingo room with outlets galore (in table) , if you're running low on power.
They have been here for a long time, brand new interior, looking good
Pros:
1. Loved the courtesy shuttle that picks you up from the hotel to the airport and from the airport to the hotel. Saves a lot of money on taxi or uber. Also it drops you off at the fashion mall which is good if you want to get on the strip.
2. The restaurants were good in the hotel. We ate at the grand cafe a couple times and the food was cheap and delicious.
3. Casino is fun, but isn't all that big.
Cons:
1. The hotel has two different sections for rooms. The tower rooms are located in the main hotel area while the courtyard rooms are located in the back. What I didn't like was that you had to go though a sliding door in the back and go outside pass the dumpster and across into the courtyard building. Just seems really scary if you were to walk by yourself at night.
2. While we got into the courtyard section, finding our room took forever! The maps didn't really help us at all and was way too confusing. Even when the lady in front checking us in, explained to us how to get to the room, we still got lost. Took about a good 30 mins to finally find our room.
3. I Read previous reviews on this hotel about housekeeping stealing from them. We actually went passed a room and someone wrote a note saying their MacBook was missing. So I suggest to everyone who's going to stay here, don't leave your belongings out! Definitely don't leave your valuables there. I always made sure to pack all my stuff back into my luggage and wrote down everything I had in case something came up missing.
Overall, this hotel wasn't as bad as i thought it'd be after reading reviews on it. It's definitely NOT a 5 star hotel. I would only recommend this place if you're on a budget, don't want to spend too much on a hotel, or don't care too much about the fancy stuff. For me personally, I wouldn't stay here again and next time I will just spend 150-200 more at a hotel on the strip.
We go there just for the oyster bar #the best oyster bar in Vegas #even Uber drivers say that
Great locals Casino. Stires are close by off the stip Brazz Fork is an awesome place to eat.
newly updated lots of games some new food options have yet to visit the movie theater but looks nice
I stayed in the renivated tower. I reported Daily of cigarettes and weed smoking constantly on a NON Smoking floor. Told security, front desk, housekeeping maintenance. The said if I don't know where it's coming from they can't know either. Very disappointed. Although lovely rooms.
The food is decent and it's not as crowded as the other stations casinos.
We ate at The Feast buffet and the Grand Cafe. Both meals were excellent and the prices were excellent. Friendly staff, clean enviroment.
Good casino, more locals. Had a nice time gambling.
This place is so confusing, is like a maze, you ask the cocktail waitress, and they can't even help you with assistance, not good.
Went to Little Toni it was fantastic. Food was excellent environment of the casino was great. Ill be back
Very nice, clean rooms. Nice pool area. Courteous, friendly staff. Would stay again!
No places to sit! There are three chairs in the lobby. Under construction and the room service will come in even if you have a do not disturb sign on your door. On the bright side, pool is amazing! Cabana rate is $75 a day. Service at the pool is 50/50. Some days it was awesome, others not so much. Concierge was awesome, and helpful. Go to them for help first thing. The cafe was reasonably priced. Call an Uber don't use a taxi!
Love the oyster bar. If you haven't eaten here you are missing out. Expect to wait about an hour / hour-half though, but totally worth it!
Poor customer service at the front desk. Hotel room is fine for the price they offer... casino is not good
You never realize how small Palace Station lettuce although is small it is enjoyable
Great food at the Feast Buffet, drinks are priced better than the strip, and friendly staff! Their recent renovation has added many amenuties, that have really given the casino area more foot traffic, even the feast buffet is better. A+
Love the new remodel, awesome casino with a fresh new look
Currently undergoing a remodel and I definitely see how amazing the changes have been so far. Excited to see the final outcome/product. Maybe they should open two oyster bars
Over price for what u get. The outside looks nice but the inside is old and hallways are smelly, room is ok but it doesnt have a refrigerator or microwave. Staff are not friendly. I wouldnt recommend it. U can do much better than this at a reasonable price, is las vegas after all!
could have been cleaned better. The pillow was so thick it was a pain in the neck. Elevator was fast that was a plus. No towels just hand towels. Checking in was fast but could have been more pleasant gave no information on local attractions.
Good service maybe little better next time still good
Food was good, yet we had a horrible server she was rude and ignored everything we said and asked for. The Busser was way kinder and friendly
A exquisite property with a true Vegas history. Great food options from the oyster bar to Saluds.
Great place to stay and the oyster bar has the best gumbo worth waiting in line for
Good fo to dor Bingo.. Cocktail waitress awesome!! Great vibe!
Clean, friendly, quick response and found item that was lost. Thank you
We went for a wedding, so we weren't trying to spend a lot of money. We figured we just needed to lay our head somewhere and we're not that picky. I always check reviews, so I figured I would write one. Price- good. We stayed for 3 nights and with all the fees $188. Our room was in the courtyard. The room smelled great and was very clean and was pretty nice. It was surprising after you go through the nice lobby through a back door that was creepy to an old dingy area. But this was fine for our needs. The hotel was very musty. It smelled like old cigarettes and mold and must. I dreaded going in, but we found that we could go through the back door to our courtyard room without going through the hotel.I think cause it's off the strip it doesn t get aired out like other hotels. They do have a Starbucks and subway. They also have other dining areas. The buffet was 5.99 for breakfast 7.99 for lunch and 8.99 for dinner reasonable. We only went to the breakfast buffet, because I don't like bland food of buffets. This was not that great. But doable for the price. One of the restaurant there were pretty good though. We loved the $1 margaritas. We filled our yard souvenir cups with about 3 of them and added our own vodka. It has its own shuttle from the airport to hotel for free + tip. You take a shuttle at the airport to get to concourse 31-33 then a shuttle to the hotel. It is off the strip so you have to watch shuttle times. All of that is available online. The shuttle takes you to fashion mall on the strip. But you can take a public bus from the hotel to the strip. They run every 12 min out in front and every 20 mins after midnight. If you by your bus ticket off the strip it's $5 for a 24 hour pass or $2 for a 2 hours. On the strip its $8. * pay the exact amount, they don't give change. You can then ride the bus up and down the strip and to both the North and South outlet malls. The pool was small but okay and they have bottle service. For what we needed this was perfect. Would I stay their again, no not unless we needed something super cheap. Otherwise, I would just stay at Circus Circus. It's cheap and on the strip so it's more convenient. One important thing. Do not use the free wifii there. They say that it's free. You go online and it says $5.99, which they take off your bill. But it's NOT SECURED. I tried to go online to transfer $$ and it put a red mark over the htts. and it won't let you into any secured sites like baking or even hotmail or facebook. So we never go to use it. They when we left the resort there was some sort of bug on my computer. It still has the red mark over https and says it can't go onto any secured site. Now I have to take it in. So do not use your wifii there.
Nice hotel-casino, odds seem a little better off the strip, lots of places to eat the bacon cronut at the Brass Fork is awesome
