Probably the best cinema in Canberra for an art house or alternate offering, good theatre's and facilities which really give that boutique feeling. However I have never had my expectations exceeded or even met when it comes to customer service, hands down the worst in Canberra in my opinion. (I see at least a movie a week in Canberra)

The best cinema in Canberra nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. The bar has great range of alcoholic drinks and can be taken into the cinema. If you re keen for a cultural flex , make sure you attend the annual French Film festival, or a film premiere. Great service a must visit!
woah! cool cinema. Came for flicker fest, really wonderful
Great range of movies, a classy vibe with a bar and platters. My wife and I sometimes go to the movies just for their popcorn haha.
Great Cinema centre. A mixture of cinema sizes, and great selection of movies including foreign movies. Love the bar area, spacious with a great selection of snacks and beverages. Highly recommended.
Great movies - not your regular run of the mill stuff. Drinks are exxy but the atmosphere is very stylish and sophisticated so who cares?
Robbed of Movie Club free ticket benefit - Bad experience one after another following reopening after COVID-19 lockdown. On Australia Day went to see the movie "The Dry' using my free yearly ticket. Had 2 free tickets at that time. Instead of being issued the ticket for the movie I asked for, I was issued a ticket for "Promising young woman'. Just before the movie was about to start, I noticed I had a wrong ticket. When I went to change it, the staff used my second free ticket instead of crediting me the one I was given an incorrect ticket for. I definitely did not see 2 movies on that day. Yesterday when I went to see another movie and was about to use my second free ticket I was told I don't have it. I tried to explain to a male staff - who was more busy consuming his food and drink while serving me instead of listening to what I was saying. He denied me my second free ticket. Palace Electric used to be a good cinema - has gone from bad to worse. I was robbed of what I paid for under my Movie Club membership
Great little arthouse cinema in the centre of Canberra. Good popcorn with olive oil and a bar go well with comfortable seating and a good range of movies. Nice design touches as well.
Easy disabled access with good choice of movies including foreign films
Nice quiet and clean place. French movies are coming to town. I will be seeing at least 5 movies for this year s French movie festival. Highly recommended movie place.
