A small, convenient airport. Very bad that there are so few flights. It is unclear and illogical. Tesla is in space, and there is no free reliable wi-fi at the airport. Nonsense!

Small regional airport, well connected to the public transport system (S-Bahn, Klagenfurt's public bus system) as well Taxis, rental car companies and shuttle busses are there ...
Several daily flights with #AUSTRIAN to Vienna (and via Vienna to nearly 100 destinations worldwide, One-Stop), 5 - 7 weekly to Cologne-Bonn with #EUROWINGS and connection flights. Further Hamburg and Berlin Nonstop ... could be more, but it works so far.
All considered: Small Boutique Airport, short ways, easy to commute, rel. good connected to the global airline network with potential to upper levels ...

No good connections, connection to MUC or FRA desirable. Better to go to LJU airport

Not enough flight options but otherwise ok. I think I have never been to smaller airport than Klagenfurt.

Unfortunately, the service in the bistro (what else is not there) very, very rude. The blonde service! It is difficult to yell !!! An airport should be better set up! I remember air rest times

Small, Clear, Friendly Service Staff (Airline, Europcar, Security-Customs)

Without the FRA connection this will not work anymore with this airport!

It is only a small airport with unfortunately very few flights per day.
So almost no waiting times at check-in or parking problems.
I believe 3 flights to Vienna vv and one from Cologne and sometimes from Hamburg.
Transavia from Rotterdam very rarely in winter and sometimes even one from London and occasionally even a lost charter flight.
Actually, it is a great pity that no more destinations are flown in, because Italy or Slovenia are also very close.

Worst airport security ever. The blond lady had clearly a very bad morning and was biased. She made us throw away a number of small liquids who were within the tolerance of 100ml and total number was less than 10 items as well. Never had such thing. Airport is nice but their security policy is absolutely nuts: i visited more than 100 airports and never had such thing. Absolutely inflexible and rude.

I feel I need to share the fact that I left my wallet on the plane when flying into the airport. I only realised once I got to my hotel 2 hours away. I rang the airport and the first person I spoke to knew they had found my wallet. They gave me the lost and found number to speak to someone and I organized to pick it up on my return journey. I picked it up and all the cash and cards were still there. I appreciate how easy it was to find out the information and for the honesty and integrity of whoever found my wallet.

Good airport, the problem is that there are no cheap flight and the ones the airport does have only go to Vienna or Berlin.

For a small airport such as this one, it is therefore well-arranged and little complicated despite the necessary security measures. But if they still want to grow here, investments must be made, ... and not just in infrastructure. They already get the chance for this from me.

Vital for the Carinthians and a gateway to the world (change in Vienna), but a ticking time bomb for years because nobody knows how things will continue at Klagenfurt Airport.

Great little airport that is on the edge of the Alps! Also it has a simple and cheap hotel on-site.

Small but functional. I use it in March and October to go to Cologne. Convenient and inexpensive parking.

I really like this airport - it is quite small and does not offer many connections but they are quite reasonably priced. Also the security check and all services are very quick and smooth, I never had to wait and it was easy to arrive 20 minutes before scheduled departure. It is easily accessible by train. The downside is there are no connections in case your flight is delayed at night - the only option is a taxi.

This airport is rather small, which is probably why there are not that many shops and sgores here. It is ok if you don't have to wait too for long. Also, there are not so many different flights leaving or coming here.

Friendly staff, quick check-in / boarding. Great flight feeling to fly away from here with the small propeller planes.

Small airport with its own charm. Reminiscent of a train station. Infrastructure and connections have been better. Vienna and Cologne have been reliably served for many years. Connection to the city via urban bus or train station Annabichl (about 5 minutes on foot).

No way to shop stuff. Small airport and fine. No expectations, there is nothing to eat or drink outside of the three flights a day

Small but for this uncomplicated airport. Only few possibilities to eat or drink coffee. Security check doesn't take much time. All in all a convenient way to start a journey or to transit.

It always surprises me that the harbor still exists in the form. Few flights, overpriced GA fees and unfriendly staff (except ATC, you're awesome). On the other hand, you have to confess you will be in the foreseeable future in the city and can fly there really everything on sight seeing flights

Small airport with very friendly service. Rarely sat so quickly away from the car on the plane.

Klagenfurt International Airport - the starting point of every holiday!

Lovely and very small country airport. Car park is always available and just few meters from main building, Police station is just across and shuttle bus as well.

I wouldn't show up 50 minutes before departure at any other airport, but with two gates it's not a problem. Unfortunately no more usable connections. And on arrival there is always a 50:50 chance that the suitcase will not appear on the announced luggage belt (although there are only two to choose from)

Very calm atmosphere, no rush! Nice, friendly staff.

Small but nice. The fastest and most comfortable stopover at the Faaker See arrival by plane direction. The practical hotel shuttles, the good rapid-transit railway connection or a rental car help with the last kilometers to the goal.

Small but nice regional airport with short distances

A very small and clear airport with correspondingly short walkways. The luggage was extremely fast, the check-in went smoothly and the boarding as well. Only at the security check everything was very messy and slow.

Can only get better, hopefully with international connections

Well located and connected to the public airport. However, the 'size' m.E. suboptimal; If I want to go further away is a journey to Ljubljana or Graz.

Airport with a lot of potential, hopefully something will happen with the new ownership structure. Positive: the paths are short, you can check in relatively late and come to boarding promptly. Staff at the baggage and security was very friendly! Negative: it is urgently renovated, the airport looks pretty run down in many corners: for example, the cafe with the felt 30 years old decor, the carelessly decorated shop at the gate and the toilet. Let's see what the future brings.

A small, clean and stress-free airport. Very clean toilets! Too bad that smoking is allowed everywhere in front of the entrances. It is not exactly pleasant if you want to enter the airport and have to go through a cigarette cloud.

A dying airport with very few flight connections (mostly VIE). 10 and even 20 years ago the overall situation and terminal infrastructure was much better. Keeping my fingers crossed for the future.
