Paddy O'Neils Irish Pub Review

This restaurant is located at the bottom of the Alex Johnson Hotel Rapid City. You can enter from the street or through the hotel if you are a guest. This is pretty convenient if you are staying at the hotel. We grabbed a bite here before checking out of the hotel (we stayed here August 2020).

Although they serve breakfast, I would recommend it better for lunch and dinner / drinks. We ordered the green chili, chorizo and hash brown breakfast wrap. Was a very large and generous serving. The hash browns were undercooked and it arrived soggy from all the green chili juice. I would recommend the sauce be served on the side to avoid this. The sausage didn t taste like chorizo, it was gray and no hint of the traditional red color. Our other order was French toast, eggs and bacon. Bacon was over cooked and French toast was soggy.

The atmosphere was fine, normal bar feel to it. The windows overlooking the street was really nice.

The Irish Nachos are pretty good. The cheese is thick and melty. It's a good combo of flavors. The salad was alright. Good place to catch a game with friends or a quick bite if you are bored.

Great food.
Good beer selection.
Service was lacking. Had to get my own condiments, table ware, etc, and head to the bar to reorder beers. Why again was there a server?
The music and vibe, and somewhat menu, wasn't Irish Pub, felt night club on a Sunday afternoon.
My Fish and chips we're above average and my buddies wings on special we're exceptional.

Staff is excellent great service. The food is to me a lot more than I can eat. Had the fish & chips, nothing fancy but mine came with 6 pieces and ton of fries.

I have never eaten here and not been completely satisfied. But this evenings meal was so terrible it completely ruined every delicious meal I've ever had at Patty's. My chiselic was soggy The corned beef in my Reuben was like straw burnt and dry. My tater tots were very undercooked. And the bartender was very unpleasant there was a gentleman working who was very helpful and kind and the cook that delivered our food was also very pleasant but the service aside from that and the food quality were absolutely terrible

This was a great place to enjoy a cold beer with an excellent view of the TVs and lots of people. After 2130 hours, the place was packed. Nice for a hotel to have such fun downstairs.

Heather and her bartenders are lit!! I love coming in and being greeted by name. Warm, inviting atmosphere.

There was a great selection of beers. Our bar tender was friendly and funny. We enjoyed it!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! I have been coming here every week for a year now and I don t regret a single moment of the time spent in this Irish pub. Bartenders Zechariah and Melanie are so personable and will always give you the utmost attention and service! Charlie is awesome too. They make great cocktails here, always have a great selection on their taps, and their wings are to die for. I am in love with this place and it s one of the reasons I decided to move to rapid city :)

Great service and good food at a reasonable price. Wide alcohol selection as well. Definitely a fun place to have food and drinks in Rapid.
