I'm VERY PLEASED with the head unit (Alpine CDE - 143 BT) that Juan sold me, along with a pair of Rockford Fosgate 6X9 speakers. He said they would work together well, & he was right! It sounds great! I was in & out of the store in under 20 minutes because of his knowledge & expertise! Good job Juan! I will definitely recommend Pacific Stereo, AND Juan!

I've been a customer of Pacific Stereo for the past few years and have had a lot of work done for my cars and I've never been let down. The manager Joe has been a pleasure to work with. He really knows his stuff and is always willing to help you get what you want. He isn't out there to make a quick buck, he wants you to leave happy. If there's a specific sound you're looking for or you have a certain amount to spend, you can always count on Joe to set you up for the most bang for your buck. I've always recommended Pacific Stereo to my friends and family and they usually come back satisfied. If there has been any problems with them, I always tell them to talk to Joe and he'll get it done right, no matter what the issue is. So if you have any issues or problems, TALK TO JOE. YOU WILL LEAVE HAPPY.

Awesome service. Excellent price for what you get. I got an alarm from them to replace a total crap alarm I bought from their competitors. The install was supper clean. All connections are soldered and heat shrunk, with corrugated plastic that look OEM. These guys really know their stuff. I just went back for some speakers. Again great service. Chris is really professional, really knowledgeable, straight forward guy. I couldn't be happier with both products. Totally earned all 5 stars!!!

Top of the line brands for great prices. Just got the chameleon concept CFD-135M drop down dvd player installed in my suburban and it was done fast and very clean. Joe and his team took great care of us! We will definitely be going back to have a system installed in our boat asap.

Been asking Joe personally for my receipts for one of the builds on one of my trucks for insurance purposes it's been months can't get it called today was told I need to send someone down there personally I live out of state my last receipt from them was over $22,000 on a truck that I've had to take back multiple times not very happy with the shop don't recommend them at all

This is a relatively laid back outfit, the largest car stereo shop I've come across anywhere. I dealt with Chris, who manages this local shop. What stood out for me compared to other shops I've tried around SoCal is that there's no high-pressure sales tactics, prices are reasonable, and the shop looks well run and organized. ( DO you know how hard it is to just find a shop with these attributes around SoCal?? not easy). Most other shops will try and up sell you unnecessarily, play games with installation and parts charges(inflated costs), and charge as much as they can get, kinda like how it is buying a car from a dealership, and we all know how much we love those experiences. The purchase process went smoothly. Chris was accommodating on the installation and got it done quickly. Now comes the real reason why I gave this outfit a five star. The installation was rushed a bit due to time constraints on my part, as a result, it also caused some errors to occur during installation. Both front woofer were damaged. The rubber surround edge were broken probably when the installer was securing the speaker. Now I found this out a week later after hearing some rattling, and wanted to install some dynamat. I called Chris and texted him a picture of each speaker, and discussed the issue. Chris was very responsive, and took care of the issue the very next day. He replaced them with new woofers. What's important about customer service isn't when everything goes well, it's when things don't go as planned. While my purchase experience didn't go perfectly smooth, but I leaned something about how Pacific stereo does business, their customer service focus, business integrity, and ethics. JFK puts it best " don't let an error become a mistake by refusing to fix it". More importantly, it tells me that this outfit is batting for the long game, and that is a good thing for the community it serves. Bravo.

Best service ever and the did the best installation job ever and fast!

One of the best stereo shops in Southern California. Believe me I know. They have Brands there that other shops have never heard of... So for an audio Freak Like Me this is the only place where I can get my Crack.

After having horrible services and customer service from a now defunct business (JR Car Audio), I decided to give this business a try. Recommended my father to this stereo shop to install 2 Sundown Audio SD3-10's wired to a Sundown Audio SAE-1500D. They installed it amazingly and the box showed craftsman ship. It truly showed they know how to install Car Audio. They even notified us that the other Audio shop jipped us because they couldn't see any amp connected to the door speakers, even though JR Car Audio charged us for it.

Back to Pacific Stereo, I don't recall the name but the gentleman was extremely helpful.

Me personally, this interaction has made this spot my go to for Car Audio needs. As i am writing this, I will be taking my mustang in for a new upgrade (Upgrading the Door/Rear deck speakers).

Great tint job, took care of me really well, took my old tint off and put new one on in record time, normally a 5+ hour job they did it in 2 hours, Brand new tinter that did a great job and didn't stain my interior with the wet towel like my last tinter, even looked up my sound system specs to make sure I got the cleanest sound possible. Highly recommended

I came to Pacific Stereo to have a dash cam installed and hardwired into my vehicle along with a voltage cut-off battery discharge preventer. Do to no fault of their own, I had to return to have the discharge preventer uninstalled since it was not compatible with my dash cam. Even though it required more labor on their part, Andy did not charge me any further and had the part removed for free. Everything is working great now, and I will definitely be returning here for any further work I need done on my car!

Good service, no upselling. Second install with them and they consistently deliver. Would recommend to anyone in the IE or for those of us that had to travel a bit, still worth it.

I needed a new radio, door lock actuator, back up camera, and speakers for my 2005 Tundra. Andy and his team were all over it. The system works great!! I couldn t be happier. We did run across one issue with my rear DVD player after the install. Andy ordered a replacement screen and it still did not work. Andy ended up purchasing and installing a beautiful dvd system at no charge! I was amazed and impressed! He promised to make it right, whatever it took! I ll definitely recommend Andy and his team to all my family and friends!!

This guy is a rude hack that has zero respect for anyone asking questions and offers no constructive criticism. He also has no patience with his fellow man which tells me that his work is shoddy and lacks expertise, and is most likely hurried which leaves large margins for error.

Terrible. Told me to come in and get service, drove 30 miles there, said couldn't be started till the next day. Drove 3 cars there to have alarms installed on 2 of them. Waste of gas and time.

At first, I wasn't to sure about dealing with pacific stereo mainly due to other reviews. When I decided to install a pioneer double din head unit and jl audio amps along with jl audio speakers and subs, I first went to Amazon. But, I went in to pacific stereo just to get wires and a fuse holder and ended up buying everything from here. Joe gave me the best price I could find. All the adapters like the plastic trim, wire harness adapter, and antenna adapter, all worked as advertised. They were also helpful when I needed help wiring up the head unit. Its nice to have a place that will give you decent prices and not rip you off like best buy. I'll will definitely buy from this place again when I decide to do my truck next.

Not worth the money or time. They over price and can't get the Job done right. I've been backto them 3 times and something there added to my car keeps meesing up. Didn't argue with the price so I could get in and get out but they did terrible work in my car. The speakers I bought last month aren't working. They messed up the Bluetooth on my car. And they lock system won't work unless I'm standing right next to my car. I was thinking of you're going to sell a product make sure it gets done right the first time so ppl will keep coming back. But it shows how much there employees care

Customer for years! Satisfied everytime. I trusted them with my jeep wrangler in the past now with my new Rubicon. Andy greeted me immediately upon walking in, offered me an array of options and focused on what was important to me (great sound without losing cargo space) he found subwoofers designed to fit without loss of space. Never made me feel pressured to buy or settle. This is why I keep coming back-excellent customer service, quality products, specialized installations with a company and staff you can trust. It's been a week since installation-sound gets better and better as he explained would happen. I will continue to recommend Pacofic Stereo to friends, colleagues, and my Jeep club. Thank you!

Cost me almost $650 to have them install aftermarket equipment I owned already, and remove my factory system, and half my aftermarket features don t even work correctly! Never had issues with the equipment when it was in my previous vehicle! I ve had to go back 3 different occasions and they claim nothing s wrong! When I bought the equipment brand new and installed at another shop it cost me $800 and change, yet costs me almost the same to have them install what I already own, and it doesn t even work! This shop is a joke! Now I have to pay another shop to fix their mistakes and it s cost me time and money and doesn t even work properly because they do half-assed work! They also caused damage to my car when they broke the trunk liner! And my remote start is screwed up as well! Explain to me how this shop is still even in business?!?!

Overall professional help and knowledge... Would recommend to anyone looking for an upgrade on sounds.

This place needs to re-think there sales team. Came in for an RGB LED strip and the guy says it's the brightest on the market but didn't want to power it up. What an idiot. I said if it's not not quality then I'm leaving bad feed back. Didn't even want to sell it to me. Just power it up and make a sale. Soooo stupid. BEWARE!!!!

Avoid ever doing mail order with Pacific Stereo. Terrible customer service. Ordered parts and paid for expedited shipping. Item not sent out the same day and eventually took 5 days to reach me. Sending item back at my expense. No refund for late shipping and they extract a 15% restocking fee. Take your business elsewhere!

Did mail order business with them for a car stereo. I had issues with the install, my fault not theirs, and they shipped a replacement unit immediately. Once I figured out it was my problem they were incredibly gracious with support. Highly recommended.

I got an alarm and sound system installed, the best of Alpine! The staff was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. When I noticed some concerns they were more than happy to help fix the issue which was the head unit was turning on and off while driving. I took it back they put and new unit straight to the battery and works as it is intended. Great sound system thank you!

I'm an average installer at best but I know what I'm doing and I know what to look for. I have a 2015 Toyota Camry that I plan on putting my old system in. I didn't feel like fooling with the doors or rear deck so I took it to this place thinking "they should have their act together by now". My sister used to go there in the 90's and I might have went once back then. I had them install the Alpine R69C.2 component speakers in the front and the Alpine R69.2 coaxial speakers in the rear. In preparation for my system I decided to take a look at their work a little closely and notice that the rear speakers are NOT MOUNTED ON AN ADAPTER!!!!!!! I'll be correcting this myself. When I looked in the front I noticed that the crossovers for the tweeters were just dangling. Don't be fooled by the luxury cars out front. If you can't treat a regular customer like your high end customer why service regulars at all. I am beyond disappointed!!! By the way the two stars are for at least putting the speakers I asked for in there.....I've heard horror stories........As bad as I'd like to call or even go up there I'm going to use that energy and time TO DO IT THE RIGHT WAY!!!!

Over the many years I've come here, and the various cars Ive brought for various installs. Ive learned TWO things . ONE is that they are always happy to sell you a product, take your money, and make it seem like an easy process. TWO.... They never stand behind thier products or thier installation after you've handed the cash over. They are Incredibly rude once your car is out of the shop and has to come back even for simple reasons. On countless ocassions I have wasted time, money and gas just for thier mistakes. I eventually decided to have thier work inspected by a professional whose job is to design and produce car alarms and have been told, "Thier wire cutting/installation and lack of attention to detail is not only a fire hazard but is something between monkeywork and just plain laziness." If thats not bad enough I CANT forget to mention that they always make plenty of extra scratches to your vehicle that they never take responsibility for. Overpriced to begin with and horrible customer service, who has time to deal with a lousy shop over and over again. There are many aftermarket stores in the area. Dont waste your time on this one.

This guy is awesome, i took my Benz for a speaker upgrade and he hooked it up! He knew everything about my car without me saying much. He took care of my car as if it was his own. He has a lot of knowledge, and knows how to listen to the customer's needs and wants. He told me what the best was without having to overpay.
Customer service is 100%. I'm happy, satisfied, it's more than i expected. I hardly ever make any reviews, but this time.. i felt that i needed to make one. I already have a couple more projects in mind. I know where I'm going, and who to talk AGAIN!

Excellent service by Jose! I am so happy with the camera I purchased for my Dodge Challenger. Parking can be challenging with all the blind spots this car has, but now thanks to the camera I got installed at this location all is well!!! Jose is super knowledgeable, he made sure the camera was the perfect one for my car. They have a huge selection of audio equipment for all cars. In addition they have a great selection of wheels. I fell in love with a red set of wheels I saw here, so let s just say I will be back. I m super happy with the great service I received in addition to my purchase. Im a first time customer and came in for a car alarm, new head unit, small amp and an 8inch sub with a custom box for my Chevy Colorado at the Riverside location on the corner of Tyler and Indiana just south of the mall. The guys at this location (namely Jose) went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my satisfaction with the services they performed and I COULD NOT be HAPPIER. Jose even showed some Christmas Spirit and hooked me up with brand new out of the box Alpine speakers to replace the stock ones in the doors at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! Who does that anymore? Sure I spent more than a couple of hours at the shop (which is why I think that Christmas Spirit came out) but hey, you cant rush the quality you get here or beat their customer satisfaction guarantee. Besides all that this place is a family friendly business with a comfortable lounge area where you and the kids can sit and watch all the sponge bob and power rangers you want on netflix or shop around in the neighboring businesses a stones throw away. Pacific Stereo!!!! After having many issues from horrible installs by another shop, I ended up at Pacific Stereo. Joe (owner) has been very helpful with me since my first visit. I have had many minor-difficult issues from previous installer's errors and Joe and his crew of installers at Pacific Stereo have taken care of everything and fixed everything. This places falls nothing short of being a top notch...from the guys inside the store to the guys installing your products. Everyone here is friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Their product selection is endless, from bottom of the line products to the top of the line products. Even if it's a few extra miles to drive to Pacific Stereo...stop by and check them out. I had a problem with a Dash Kit that would not allow ON-STAR to work properly. When Chris Davis got involved, he told me Phillip I am going to resolve your problem and show you that we care here at Pacific Stereo about you. Chris did his research and contacted the manufacture of my dash kit and reasoned with them, and got me another dash kit. Every time I have came to Pacific Stereo, Chris Davis always has a smile, he is friendly, very knowledgeable about the equipment and has my car sounding like a live concert full of bass. I got a new radio with Bluetooth, speakers and back up camera put in my Honda Accord in January. It was cheaper than I expected and done very quickly. It works perfectly and I've had no issues with it.

Because the economy is doing well ! A small business, like Pacific Stereo is doing well. They are facing many challenges, one being customer service. I dropped off my car thirty minutes ahead of my appt with a quoted 3-4 hour time frame to complete my service only to realize 3 hours later they did not start the job and would require an additional two hours. With respect to the guy behind the counter, he did offer to service my job for free however, my work schedule didn't allow me the day off. So I bumped up my 1 star review to 2 stars

VERY expensive, but you DO get quality work done. Jose worked on my car (full theater custom installation) and did an excellent job. If you're willing to make an investment for enhancing your driving experience, you can expect to receive an excellent return for the years to come.

You can truly judge a company based upon their customer service when exchanging an item or addressing a warranty concern. These people sell and install stereo electronics but do not stand behind the product.
You've been warned! Spend your money elsewhere!
