Pacific Marine is a great place to take your boat. I know the whole staff. Everyone is really knowledgeable and very friendly. They all know what is going on. That whole complex there is actually run very well in my opinion. They have boat repair, trailer repair, propeller sales and repair. I highly recommend their services. Rates are normal prices and quality of work is exceptional. I run my boat hard and make sure to take it to Pacific Marine for maintenance so I have peace of mind when I have my family on the water.

Rip off and very rude took my boat in for a miss it had they went through it trying to find the problem witch they never did but they charged me $750 for a new set of spark plugs that I had changed a couple of weeks before I took it in they said they were the wrong ones.they were not.so they tell the motor was making some bad noises when they started it and that it may need a rebuild .so I said no it s fine so I picked up the boat and I fixed the boat my self and the motor had zero issues so$750 for nothing beware.

Awesome place with great service and expert advice. They took the time to help me out even though they were super busy and had their hands full. Great selection of parts and expertise. You don't see many of these types of shops around anymore. Cheers !!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Took my zodiac boat in for 100 hour engine service. Had a bow tail that was loose with bolts that were very hard to reach to tighten. They were able to get at them and the tail was right as new. When asked about device to brave the engine during travel, they referred me to an online vendor that had a much better price than their store.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever encounter...

Absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered. THey replaced two 454 high performance engines and the port engine lasted approximately 40 hours before I had to hire another mechanic to replace the entire engine again. The starboard engine was replaced at the same time. I had oil pressure reading problems (reading zero after about an hour of operation). He supposedly had someone come out to put a mechanics gauge on it and said it was reading ok but the oil sample came back "yellow"...it had less than 35 hours on this engine. THey removed the engine and I had to wait what had to be over two months for them to get an engine to reinstall....while I had to pay lay days! He gets the engine reinstalled and my first trip out I had THE SAME EXACT problem with my gauge reading zero pressure. While I know it wasn't truly zero because I didn't hear noise or the alarm didn't sound I was rather angry that I had to pay about $3000 for lay days waiting on him to finish his work. And what kinds of mechanic pulls an engine without knowing what the problem is???? About a week later I had an issue where the RPM would not exceed 2700 RPM so I called his office. He said it would be AT LEAST 6 weeks to have someone to even look at the issue. I found the issue and had it fixed for $11. Then the hose clamp ruptured and I overheated. That was another week to wait for service. THen the riser was pouring salt water from the connection and the oil pressure had not been tightened so it was leaking oil down the side of the oil filter. Yet another LONG wait to fix the most simple issues. Now I'm overheating when I get above 3,000 RPM and according to mercruiser it is most likely a head gasket. Lets see how long it takes to have a technician to even look at the issue. I can only imagine they are trying to run the warranty out.

So he originally installed two 454 high performance engines in my sea ray 370 EC. Neither motor made it more than 40 hours. I electected to have a different mechanic install the port engine and Alan install the Starboard engine. THe port engine purrs like a finely tuned machine, the port side should just be pulled and an engine I have faith in reinstalled at Alan''s cost. He rebuilt the starboard engine and if the first two didn't make it past 40 hours what faith should I have about the third engine he installed???

These people were super helpful and because of them I dodged a bullet and didn't buy a boat that would have ended up being a money pit. I'm very grateful for their knowledge, kindness and expertise.
