My family and I have been using Pacesetter Sports for various needs over the years. Most recently, the team I was coaching was in Terre Haute for a soccer game and we forgot our captain's bands. Brent, the owner, drove all the way to the fields to personally deliver some to us. We were so grateful! Definitely recommend doing business here!

Great place to shop for your athlete? They have a decent selection in stock and can usually get you whatever you need if they don't have it! The staff always greets you and they are cery helpful! Love this hometown business.
It was good. I needed a larger size hoodie, the customer service agent happily went in the back and found my size.
Bought a pair of running shoes after not getting a new pair for a long time. Very helpful staff and friendly as well. Prices are reasonable and they know what kind of shoes are made for what kind of feet.

Pacesetter Sports has been a Terre Haute institution for probably three or more decades. And for good reason; this locally-owned store has a fantastic selection and outstanding service. Highly recommend if/when you're in the market for some new running shoes, or athletic clothing/accessories.

I have always worn a classic men's walking shoe. Service was great but shoe needed to be ordered....I imagine because it is an older style .
Wandered around the store for fifteen minutes. Not a staff member in sight.
The workers were very friendly. They helped me find what I needed in their selection of items. They did not have the size I thought I was (small), so thank goodness they allow you to try stuff on during COVID, unlike a lot of other places. I was able to determine that an x-small worked well for my needs.
Great service! I have had some foot problems and they were very helpful with picking the right shoes and advice. We even found something on clearance that worked for me.

The place to go for your sporting needs in Terre Haute. The employees are all well versed on the correct gear each athlete needs in his or her's sport. They're not trying to sell you on erroneous trends, they are truly trying to set your athlete up for success.
I love how knowledgeable the employees are. I always get good advice here. I love that they are supportive of area races and other sporting events. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is the prices. I wait for sales.

For a small store good selection and great customer service
Visited this store and was incredibly impressed with their selection of softball and baseball equipment. Staff was very helpful and friendly without being pushy or nosy. Genuinely wanted us to leave with something we were happy with, rather than to just make a sale. They even ordered a product for my daughter that they didn't have in-store, and are shipping it directly to my house (I live a little over an hour away). I will be back for sure, the next time I need sports equipment.
I would like to send out a big thank-you to the two young ladies who helped me today, and I feel bad that I didn't get their names. But they helped me to find a shoe that not only would accommodate my orthotics, but also did not have laces so that I can keep my 90-degree protocols for a hip replacement. The staffer who was helping me try on the shoes looked in their stock, and also looked in the clearance area and found something that worked for me. I appreciate their help, big smiles, and wonderful customer service! Pacesetter has always had a great reputation and staffers like this are the reason why. (And by the way, I was referred there by the folks at TruArch Foot & Brace, who told me they'd been helpful with issues like this in the past, so more kudos!)

Have what you need but cost more than some other places.
I needed a pair of cleats for my son, but couldn't find what I needed at the large chain store up the road. I looked for 30 minutes and never had anyone stop and offer assistance. I was in and out of Pacesetters in 5 minutes. You can't beat the service at Pacesetter's.

My daughter needed shoes for Nike Cross Country Regionals. Met with Brent Compton and he really helped us. Took the time to show many options and make sure she got the right fit. She loved them! The staff is always kind, knowledgeable and helpful and the prices are competitive enough that I usually spend an afternoon driving around town looking for shoes just to go back to Pacesetters and buy the first pair I looked at. Just go here first and go see a movie with the time you save.
