Big selection. Everything is around a dollar cheaper then everybody else.

Owen's nursery staff are always friendly and eager to help. Great selection of flowering plants and the best prices in Bloomington, IL. They even have a mixed plant arrangement custom made for people like me who have hard time deciding which ones to buy. They give great gardening advise too.

Too cold outside for any plants but plenty of nice merchandise and house plants in the shop.

I called the nursery looking for an angel they had on thier web page. The florist looked and could not find that particular one. This were my experience started to get over the top .The florist took time to send me pictures of every angel they had in the shop.I requested a certain arrangement also on the web page this is where my expectations gets even better the florist ask if she could use flowers that were in season and stated she would make a beautiful arrangement to fit my needs. she went above and beyond my expectations .The florist sent pictures of the arrangement to make sure it was truly what I wanted. The arrangement was absolutely beautiful. Did I mention she is a true floral artist. She chose sunny bright Sunflowers neither of us knew this had a sentimental meaning to the family .Please trust and use this Nursery .I have never had such a kind and careing experience with a floral shop like this one .Your awesome !

Worked there for 11 years I use them now to repot our flowers at church their customer in the floral department is awesome

Great variety, well organized with lots of assistance if needed.

I'm driving for swift and I'm gonna be honest how I'm hauling there flowers make me wander how tf they even grow because it's sticks and bare roots in a reefer trailer with NO MOISTURE DIRT OR ANYTHING! So how tf are they not dead?

Nice selection, though the staff is not exactly nice or even respectful (I suspect some of the reviews here are fake). I ve been in management for over twenty years, and it s easy to spot when a workplace environment is run by people who are socially inept and sometimes toxic.
Starbucks, for example, gives great customer service because (surprise, surprise) they treat their employees with dignity.
Same goes for Chick-Fil-A. You can recognize it instantly, if you do this for a living, but you get the point.
I only go here now, when the convenience is more important. Most of their products can be found elsewhere.

We try to go there every year . I love how helpful they are even if they didn't have all the things I was looking for I love their advice!

Prices were a bit high and I felt a tad suffocated by staff waiting for me to pick a tree. Quality trees every year, though, and overall staff was friendly & helpful.

I was an employee there for a few days, started Tue & ended Thur. Carol is very disrespectful. She emphasizes how strict she is, but really she s just rude! After clocking out, I wanted to talk to her about how she personally disrespected me earlier that evening. As an employee of hers, I went up to her with respect, and she yelled what did I want . Even after that I was calm.. I told her that I didn t feel comfortable talking to her about certain things because of the energy she gives. Her response was maybe you shouldn t come back tomorrow ! I did nothing wrong but tell her how I felt and she went completely mad.

She yells at her employees and disrespects them all. She tells people do this or you won t have a job . She tell people if I knew you wanted this day off, I wouldn t have hired you
However, in the rules book it say that all you have to do is write the days you need off in advance. And I m sure it was way in advance. She just have an attitude all of the time and talks behind employees back. She disrespects her employees who have been working there for YEARS! I don t know how they tolerated her cause I couldn t. She s so use to people kissing up to her, that when I approached her about a problem she didn t know how to handle it very well. I can only imagine how she treats her customers!

I've only been here once so far, and visited Owen Nursery & Florist because of the good ratings/reviews. Great spot for planting needs, flowers, decorative garden things and plant advice/information. Reasonable pricing and wonderful selections.
