Overwinter Coffee

There is something truly special about the coffee at Overwinter Coffee in Buffalo. As a fan of Ugandan beans, I was thrilled to find The Strawberry roast on their menu. Having visited the Kapchorwa district near Sipi Falls a decade ago, seeing this origin from Overwinter brought back wonderful memories. You don’t need to be an expert to appreciate this blend; it is light, approachable, yet complex and rich in flavor. It has quickly become one of my absolute favorites.

There’s a reason I consider Overwinter’s offerings superior; this particular blend truly earns the nickname "the wine of coffee." It’s bright, fruity, and delightfully acidic. My coworker’s text letting me know they had The Strawberry back in stock at their Buffalo location made me literally squeal with joy. I’d be drinking this daily if I could—I really wish it were a permanent feature on the menu rather than just a seasonal release. But I guess missing it just makes the return even sweeter.
