Overstock Liquidator Review

I went here to buy a mattress based on the reviews posted here. Yes, they have low prices, but there are a couple important facts that I learned.

1) There are no warranties with any mattresses sold here. Once you pay for it it is yours. Be sure you are getting the one you want, because you can't exchange it if it doesn't feel right back home.

2) The sales people told me several times these were brand new mattresses. The mattresses are sold in thick, clear plastic covers that are sealed. Just like the new ones. But when I got mine home and removed a section of the plastic, I saw "pills" on the fabric surface. Pills ie, rolled up fabric like you see on sweaters. When I tried to lift one of these off, it wouldn't come easily because there were strands of blonde hair attached to it. I am dark haired. This "brand new' mattress was obviously used by somoene before it wound up at Overstock Liquidation. I'll give the sales people the benefit of the doubt and that they didn't lie to me in the store. But these appear to be lightly used mattresses and that explains the very low prices reflected in other reviews on this page.

The sales staff were nice, but I wasn't pleased when I saw the hair and evidence of prior use.

Based on our experience buying a king size matterss, we found them to be professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the experience. Would recommend.

I just bought a name brand super plush pillow-top king mattress and boxspring from Overstock for 500. We were looking at similar mattress sets at different places and paid about 1500 less at Overstock. Casey and the staff were so determined to make sure that we got EXACTLY what we wanted. They were very professional and patient and probably took down about 15 mattresses until we found the perfect one. Thank you so much for all your help. I will definitely be doing business with them from now on!

Great place to buy furniture and mattresses. The Manager, Dee Thrasher, is awesome. Great customer service and the best price in town!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Purchased a top-end mattress from here and it arrived damaged. They refused to allow me to refuse delivery so I was stuck with it. From then on, they promised over and over to replace it. Finally, they replace it and it is the lowest end mattress you can get. These people are like skeezy car salesmen.

I am now out $940 (they charged me to deliver again). I purchased a mattress from a reputable company and attempted to sell the mattresses from this horrible company myself at a loss and still haven't been able to resell them. I ended up spending almost 2k for a mattress when all was said and done and am stuck with 2 unused mattresses, one damaged and one the wrong quality. Spend an extra $200 and use a real company.

When you wash higher thread count sheets in hot water, they will pill! You have to use cold water if you want quality sheets to last. Just an fyi. .

KC and Aaron matched a deal I had made on Craigslist with another retailer for the exact type of bed (California King), box springs and frame with about five on hand to choose from in stock. The competition had only one but could not make me happy. KC has made me very happy! Ten stars is not enough! Thank you KC!

A 54-year-old woman said she had furniture on layaway at the Overstock Liquidators at 8610 Roswell Road. She made a total of $1,400 in payments between March and May. She went to the store to pay the balance of $600 and to pick up the furniture and was told the person who worked at the store left and took the money with him. The woman was also told the store is under new management who will not honor the layaway agreement.

KC just helped me and my husband buy a King size Black Label mattress by Simmons for $2,000 less than the ones we had been looking at. Even my baby pug Bruno can't get enough-- we're all sleeping better! Thanks again, guys!
