This is downtown Madison living at its best. The views of downtown Madison are awesome. The building is beautiful and always very clean. Common areas are very open and comfortable and good places to chat with other residents. Building management and staff are friendly and responsive. Located 2 blocks from the square and a half block off State Street-- great location! We are happy we've chosen to live here.
Rented here for 6 months and it was a perfect place. No noise (rare for apartment buildings), amazing staff (thanks Jessica, Sean, & Cassey!), and great amenities. The top floor has the best sunset view in madison -- the workspace is also nice for WFH change of scenery. We loved our stay so much and especially loved all the pups we ran into in the elevators and hallways. Though you pay a premium to live here, we were very impressed by how low our utility bills were each month even with the amazing floor to ceiling windows and how easy access it is to everything you could need in Madison. The parking garage always has open "unreserved" spots, the carts were super helpful for moving and groceries, and the locked package room ensured never issues with stolen things. Would recommend to anyone!
When you arrive at Ovation it is obvious how beautiful the building is but what makes this place special is more than just that. It is immaculately maintained daily. The amenities are abundant like no other and they have free coffee everyday....um, hello? My guests are always amazed at how wonderful this place is and I love giving them tours because I m so proud to live here!
As with anywhere you go, it s the people that make the difference. Here at Ovation you are surrounded by welcoming, genuine, caring staff and neighbors.
I cannot think of a better place to live in Madison.
Too rich for my blood but most of the tenants I ran into were cool and so was the security guard! There is a ping pong table and some guys were there playing so we got some games in! The decor is a bit much / bougie.
We rented a 2 bedroom apartment at Ovation 309 for 4 months and cannot say enough about the experience. The team supporting the experience is exceptional. Jessica and Sean are personable, very service oriented and very responsive.
We required a furnished apartment - Jessica and her team took care of everything. When we arrived, our apartment was furnished as promised. We had one very minor issue - the beds were "firm" - no problem, a call to Jessica and the problem was solved within 24 hours. Sean is always pleasant and provides confidence that the residents are secure, the environment is friendly and inviting, and extremely communicative. The floor plan is awesome, and there has never been a problem with noise or other typical apartment issues. The residents are primarily professionals spanning from young, to older.
The building is located off State street, just minutes from the square and the campus. We walk nearly everywhere. The view from the top floor is magnificent looking over Lake Mendota. We watched the fireworks across the city from the balcony, and often enjoy dinner or a glass of wine from the 13th floor. On the 7th floor, a kitchen and barbecue area (indoors and outdoors) are available also with a good view of the Capital and State Street. A dog run is also available on the 7th floor. If we could change anything, I would ask that Ovation add more outdoor carpet to the dog run, but the area is nice and convenient.
We have enjoyed our experience at Ovation 309 and would gladly stay here again.
I just rented here for 6 months. No complaints and have really enjoyed my time here. The gym is first rate and equivalent to a planet fitness or anytime. Location is great as it is downtown. They have 24 hours security at the desk. Finally the management is very flexible and helpful regarding all issues. Can't make enough positive comments.
Moving due to a life change after four great years living at Ovation 309. It was so nice to walk across the street to the Overture for a show, to the Farmer s Market on Saturdays, restaurants and State Street steps away. Ovation 309 has exceptional staff, they care about their residents and stepped up during the pandemic-not unexpected. I will miss living at Ovation 309.
We love Ovation. When we were just looking for a place in Madison, what attracted us to Ovation was how clean, open, and elegant the lobby was. Security was important to us, so having someone at the lobby 24 hrs, was impressive. Sean, was from the very start very friendly. The dog walk inside the building is very convenient. Jessica, Matt, Zach, Lori, Sean, and the rest of the staff are all very friendly and always ready to help. Ovation is like a small community and we feel like we belong. The location is perfect - we re at the center of everything that s happening in Madison!
The amenities were great on the 2nd, 7th and 13th floors. On the 2nd floor there is a sauna and a workout studio. On the 7th floor there is a mini dog park and a coffee/hot chocolate bar. On the top floor(13th) there is a shuffleboard table and a ping pong table. The staff are very kind and helpful. All in all great apartment in downtown Madison
We've lived here for 2 years now and are relocating across the country - which is the only reason we are leaving Ovation. It has been a great place to live and is very dog-friendly, which is importance since our dog is a part of our family and we wanted her to be included as much as possible in our rental community. There are also a lot of socialization opportunities with other residents and management has done their very best to continue these events during COVID, obviously having to make lots of adjustments for distancing and such. Occasional common area treats are also provided, like candy for Valentine's Day, and I love the book exchange in the coffee room. We are sad to have to leave but have Ovation will be our standard for community living in our next city.
