I visit New York a couple of times a year to see my daughter, and I usually stay with Outpost. The process is always simple, which makes traveling much less stressful. The apartments come fully set up, so I don’t have to worry about utilities, furniture, or basic amenities after arriving. I’ve stayed in a few different locations and generally found them clean, safe, and convenient for getting around the city. Having laundry access in the building is also a big plus for longer stays.
It worked well as a temporary base while I was looking for a more permanent apartment, although I noticed that some people live there for several years.
I stayed at Bedford House during my summer internship and couldn't have picked a better spot. Super easy commute to Manhattan, and the apartment had everything I needed. Move-in was smooth, and the whole place felt modern and organized.

Whenever I have a question or need anything, they are very responsive and helpful. The building is very clean and well maintained. The neighbors are very nice and kind. I can’t believe I found a cute, new, and affordable apartment in New York that I don’t want to leave!
I’m really happy with my room and the overall experience. The room is comfortable, clean, and exactly what I needed — it feels like my own personal space where I can relax and focus. Everything worked well from day one, and the setup made settling in easy. I honestly enjoy coming back home every day. A great place to live, especially if you want something straightforward and stress-free.

I’m really impressed with my room at Atlantic House — everything is thoughtfully designed down to the small details. The house manager even restocks cleaning supplies and toilet paper, which I didn’t expect and really appreciate. In my previous place, this was always an issue because someone would take everything and we’d end up buying it ourselves. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay here.
Outpost’s Ridgewood location has been a pleasant surprise. The apartment is well-kept, and I love the amenities like the gym and laundry. It’s a bit far from the action, but it’s nice and quiet, which I appreciate.
My favorite thing about Heritage House is the natural light in the apartments. The big windows make my space feel airy and open. Plus, the location is super convenient with easy access to public transport and great restaurants nearby.
