Outfitters Kauai Review

We were so happy to find a place that "does it all"! We got engaged on a kayak tour, so we wanted to do one for our honeymoon, but we also really wanted to do ziplines and see some sights. It's so hard to fit everything in during one trip! Outfitters' excursion on 3/13/2019 was the perfect way to get in all we wanted, and it was a fair price for everything you do + getting lunch provided. Matt and Elvis were our main tour guides; Ben started us out on the kayaks. All three gentlemen were super entertaining and knew a lot about not just what we were doing or walking through, but also the island in general! Their humor was also a pretty great bonus. We would definitely do this again - especially with these guys! Make sure you bring shoes that have really good tread. Some parts of the trail get really slippery. I didn't think we really needed the recommended towel - you air dry pretty well between any water parts of the trip.
Pro tip: you can tip the guys at the end of the trip, so bring cash! They deserve it.

OK came from a recommendation of another tour and I could not be more thankful that we used them. We had a really small party, an amazing guide in Bruce, and a wonderful day overall. Bruce was attentive, professional, friendly, knowledgable and safe. I will absolutely recommend this business again and hopefully use them again next time we are here. I can't thank them enough. It was the perfect trip up the river and to the falls.

We enjoyed our kayak adventure with our guide, Sabar! He was helpful regarding the kayak experience and also during the small hike. It s an easy hike but educational. We learned about the plants, Kauai legends, and favorite places to visit. We swung on a rope which dropped us into a pool of water. It was an enjoyable afternoon!

Great Kayak and hiking experience. Small group of 10 with Bruce as our guide. 2 mile kayak trip to 1 mile hike. Moderate kayak difficulty just due to wind; fairly easy hike. Enjoyed lunch and a swim at waterfall. Bruce shared great insight and facts/stories about our surroundings. Also provided good tips on other experiences, food, etc. highly recommend!!

Wow, by far one of the best experiences in my life. Isaac and Mike are guides that make you feel perfect on your adventure. May your road be clear and your reality be true....the last pic was part of our tour.

Awesome kayaking and hiking experience up the Wailua River! Elvis and Dan were our guides and did an amazing job! Would definitely recommend if you re visiting Kauai! Make sure to wear water shoes with a good sole and closed toe. You ll be trekking through mud and crossing a river waist deep. The waterfall at the end is great. Big enough pool to jump in and swim around a bit!

We had a great kayak tour, Elvis was so knowledgeable and ensured our safety. We appreciated the small group and covid protection efforts including mask wearing and social distancing efforts.

My friend and I had an amazing day on the ocean with Outfitters! It was a long long long day of paddling, but it was so much fun! The sights were out of this world! Our guides Tina, Adam, and Kamaile did a wonderful job of making sure we were well looked after. At the end of the day we were exhausted, but proud of ourselves!

Such a great time. Elvis and Tresa were so much fun and made the trip fabulous. They were patient with my kids and very professional.
