We went to the "You are here" show at the planetarium and would highly recommend. Perfect length at 30mins for our young children, excellent live narration and all very Covid-secure.

One of the best museums I've visited, if you have any interest in geology, but are not above average. Simply presented, for young audience and for people without lot's of knowledge. Schedule a visit just after opening at 10.00 as it is calm. Buses started to arrive, just as I was exiting the building. Can get quite busy as it seems. Not a museum type myself, but this was interesting.

Amazing place, perfect to spend a couple of hours. Very well done.

I will never forget my visit to Dynamic Earth as long as I live. In one area of discovery, my kids took an interest in watching a video that was in an awkward position for viewing. Curiosity got the better of me, so I thought I'd investigate. I witnessed a cartoon of an animal run up a tree, fall off a branch, and end up as a dead mess on the ground a couple of times. The animal then run up the tree again, grew wings and flew off the branch. Seriously, is this kind of Darwinism being taught to our children in science?

Visited Dynamic Earth this week with my 2 sons (7 and 9 years old). We all loved it, I was really impressed! The 4D cinema and dome theatre were brilliant. We stayed for about 4 hours and had lunch. We brought a packed lunch (plenty tables to sit and eat) but the cafe also seemed to be very reasonably priced and did packs for the kids. The staff are great, one of the guides took the time to talk to my sons for ages about bones and fossil poo! They were fasinated :) We will def visit again.

A first class attraction. It was packed with interesting things from beginning to end. Excellent use of technology and just enough detail. Will come back next time we are in Edinburgh.

Great experience today at Dynamic Earth with the family! Very interesting yet fun as well for kids as they'll all enjoy it since there's so many exiting things to enjoy and even take part in! Definitely worth the money!
