The Ottawa Jazz festival provides world class entertainment for all music tastes. The vendors and the experience are second to none. Attendees of all ages are sure to enjoy their experience. For many years we have enjoyed attending events at the Ottawa Jazz Fest . Last night we were at Confederation Park . The performers were great and the crowd seemed to be enjoying it . That is until a pothead and his girl friend decided they would get move over to the seated area and do their drug infested arm waving in front of dozens of people . There were numerous confrontations and eventually security had them move away but not before they flipped the bird to many people (seniors for the most part) . Not to be outdone our valiant pot-head tried to sneak back up front but chose the wrong route . He approached between my partner and another gent who quickly grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and slammed him to the ground . He scampered off only to return again with two women who appeared as high as he was . They once again annoyed some folks and there was pushing and shoving . This was the end of the performance and for those of us in the line of sight it put a damper on what had been a great performance .
You need better security . We stopped attending Blue fest because of ignorant folks . I was looking for a wristband on Pothead's wrist but there was none to be seen .
