For many years we have enjoyed attending events at the Ottawa Jazz Fest . Last night we were at Confederation Park . The performers were great and the crowd seemed to be enjoying it . That is until a pothead and his girl friend decided they would get move over to the seated area and do their drug infested arm waving in front of dozens of people . There were numerous confrontations and eventually security had them move away but not before they flipped the bird to many people (seniors for the most part) . Not to be outdone our valiant pot-head tried to sneak back up front but chose the wrong route . He approached between my partner and another gent who quickly grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and slammed him to the ground . He scampered off only to return again with two women who appeared as high as he was . They once again annoyed some folks and there was pushing and shoving . This was the end of the performance and for those of us in the line of sight it put a damper on what had been a great performance .
You need better security . We stopped attending Blue fest because of ignorant folks . I was looking for a wristband on Pothead's wrist but there was none to be seen .
