If you work here, throw everything they tell you in the handbook away. This company says they are an equal opportunity employer. Still, everyday you work here will be spent hoping they like you. If they dont like you, for any reasons, you will be a target. Having to worry about your job on top of your safety can be stressful too. Considering this company has double, almost triple, the amount of incidents and reportables, it's got OSHA violation(s) all over it. Management wants you to talk to them if there are problems that occur during work hours, but when something is brought to their attention nothing gets done. Instead management can and usually will turn it on you. Noone deserves to go to work in fear of being harassed, assaulted, or put in an unsafe work environment where even when you try to reach out for help the finger is pointed at you. You could be the best employee showing up before shift, going above and beyond, volunteering for overtime, keeping your team's spirit up, even learning another department and if one person has a vendetta against you for what reason, they'll give you the boot. Try to say something about the lack of manpower, or the long overtime and weekend work, and they'll give you the boot. Try to tell Toyota about all the bad parts they send out, or try to warn your friends not to buy them because of the faulty parts this company sells and they'll give you the boot. Needless to say, if you work here you'll be working almost everyday, long hours, almost always short handed in a work environment where you're talked down to like a dog, possibly assaulted, and bullied all while management and human resources do nothing and basically encourage said behavior. There are a few good people on the floor, but the amount of corruption outweighs them 10:1. If you choose to work here, may your soul be blessed.
