The crew at Otaku have been working on my much beloved '73 TA22 Celica for quite some time now; basically doing resto work as quickly as I can pay for it .

I'm extremely impressed with their attitude and enthusiasm, and it was clear from the get-go that these guys were as invested in my old school beast as I was. The Otaku garage team love their Japanese cars AND the quality of their product reflects this. I couldn't recommend them more highly

Great people and very knowledgeable staff. So easy to talk to and they got me set up in no time with a nice set of DGR coilovers for my car.

The worst service, placed an order and a month later they told us it had been sent but it hadn't. then we were told they were trying to contact supplier for the item but no replies from the supplier. Very bad way to run a business when they cant tell you what is happening with an order.

Bit of a screw around with TNT, otakugarage are at least trying to help thank you.

DONT TRUST rude sam was amd didnt even care i was exited to have my car on the road he mad me wait 7 months to tell me he couldnt do nothing Very bad crew dont trust I left my 300zx there for 7 months didnt even get looked at properly all that was wrong with my car was fuel regulator and air flow metre and they tried to say my engine needed taking out twin turbos replaced and made me get computers which cot me two thousand dollars for absolutely nothing not happy im broke and haven't eating properly for six months cause of these people and there delays I ha e no car n no job cause they took so long :(

they'll talk to you like a normal person and they tell you exactly what you need done, and how much it's going to be.

Ordered parts from the US and they showed up within a week. Fastest ive ever gotten anything from overseas. Communication was great. Just overall great experience and great place.

Quality, affordability and competency are the key features in their work, despite if it's a general service or an engine rebuild - they know exactly how to diagnose problems and get you driving on the road or track safely! Shocking service i purchased a rear sump or a ls1 online on 11/12/19 its now 25/1/2020 and i haven't received anything, i have emailed and gotten the same response each time ill check with the factory and update when we know if you google Otaku garage ls1 rear sump in the bottom right corner of the search result it clearly says in stock

Absolutely awesome. I would not trust anyone else with my car after my experience with these guys. They had my car in there about 4 weeks in a row, and still got it to me when I needed it after some part suitability issues, due to the car being an import. As well: Sam knows his work and is great to deal with.

They are great guys and I would recommend Otaku Garage to anyone.

I took my near new car here for a service which was conducted better than the dealers do but at the end I found their software couldn't turn off the "service warning message" on the dash so now Mazda is forcing me to pay $70 just to turn it off. This means I've ended up paying more than just going to Mazda.

I've had my car and friends car serviced here. Great crew , friendly and tidy workshop. Sam has a great beard too!
Had cars ranging from Honda to Jaguar , they can work on anything.
Swift , efficient , and great attention to detail all packed in for a good price.

They've gone over and above and happy to give them a solid 5 stars .

Had a manual conversion done a year or so back on my jzx100, during conversations I was told they were quite experienced with. The work is below average at best, my tunnel/box has been cut up with a new manual tunnel piece not being fitted. This is despite paying a premium price for the "full conversion" kit. I was also told that the kit would come with a twin plate clutch which while I also paid for a single plate clutch to be fitted, I made sure to confirm I would receive it in case I wanted it in future. I didn't receive it and when I asked I did not get a reply.
I also paid for a front mount intercooler which with the whole conversion and front mount to take place within 1-2 weeks at most. I was then told that the only staff member who could weld the was going on holiday for 2 weeks. As I couldn't be without my car for a whole month I organised to pick it up and was charged to put the car back together. I then took it back for another week to have the intercooler finished which took another week. I understand it's busy but a month for these two tasks is little bit rough and let's not even talk about the 3 months it took for the parts to arrive.

I put it down to me being stupid and trusting but after being annoyed this last time with the work not being completed correctly I thought it would be important for people to make sure they get what they pay for.

Never had work done or been to the shop but the online parts store is mint. I've only ever bought tomei items but always received parts within 4-5 days direct from tomei japan.

Awesome to deal with, everything explained throughout the head rebuild, nothing was too much trouble, excellent work at a good price. Highly recommended

I was slightly sceptical at first, but Otaku Garage is now my go-to for Tomei parts. Online store has a great range for good prices. Best of all is I received my Tomei Metal Head Gakset in less than 4 days, which is impressive considering it came from Japan

Ordered some hoodies from the online shop. Product was shipped fast to the U.S. great customer service and received a quality product.

I bought one of the S14 SR20det inlet manifold, fuel rail and throttle bodies kits from Otaku Garage recently and can say the quality is definately up there with the big names.

Makes good torque still with a TD06SL2 20G poncams, seeing 550nm from 4k through to 7k and only dropping 50nm because of rev limit.

Would buy again.

Absolutely stoked with the quality of service and professionalism of the staff! Did better work than previous mechanics and were up front and honest from phone call to book right through to driving away. Treated me as a new friend rather than just another customer and for that they have not only my loyalty but my recommendation to friends and family.
