any and everything that you could possibly think about potentially going wrong at a job, don t worry ! osl has got the work cut out for you ! someone whom I am very close with had to quit his job with osl because he was the only sales representative at his assigned work place since the first day he started !! he had a manager you know come in and train him for all of TWO DAYS !! and never seen her again after that ! busy days in and out and all those customers, he was the only one there to help! he was being told someone would be joining him, 2-3 weeks went by and STILL IT WAS ONLY HIM ! he did the very professional way by putting in his two weeks ! and completing them ! even though it would ve been so much more easier for him to just leave. Upon putting his two weeks in he received a VERY ! non professional response ! you re good what is that ?!!! now today is the day he was supposed to receive his last check for TWO WEEKS !!!! WHY IS HIS CHECK TWO DAYS ?!!!!! THIS IS BEYONDDDD THE WORST COMPANY YOU COULD EVER WORK AT ! IF YOURE THINKING ABOUT IT .DONT ! there are so many other job opportunities out there where the managers and the entire team would love to have you !

Working at this company is a utter joke within itself. The district manager is also a man who favors his bonus over company diversity. Don't work here, your sanity is important. Don't be me who was forced to work 12+ days straight and denied a mental day.
It's not the employees fault from my experience but I went to two Walmart's on Sunday and both had one employee and long lines. I waited for over an hour to be served. They should really schedule more appropriately.
OSL will go down as the worst job I have had or will ever have. I wasted 2 years being yelled at by customers, threatened to be fired by a team lead and dealing with walmarts ignorant management. I even got sneezed on during the pandemic by a customer without a mask and then got reprimanded when I freaked out about it. The only good things about my time with OSL were the few friends I made from my time there and my final team lead who was actually fantastic and an amazing boss. 0/10. Signed (the store) my minor up on a 2 year contract. Manager Ken said she signed the contract so she is responsible by Michigan law. Michigan law only covers emancipated minors for food, shelter, healthcare and employment. The sales agent never explained anything to the minor. I only found out because I received a credit report in the mail along with a bill showing extra charges. Be very careful when going to Walmart to get a cell phone. They say it's prepaid and all of a sudden it's not. They commit fraud to get what they want. Now my daughter can't get new customer benefits because everyone is attached to TMobile.
Working here is an absolute joke. The whole thing they try to brain wash you with is if you walk up and talk to EVERY shopper inside Walmart you ll eventually make a sale. Takes a special type of person to deal with that all day long.
Think of yourself when you shop at Walmart do you want to be harassed by a salesman about your phone plan? The deals aren t that great compared to anywhere else you can buy a phone. Do not let them fool you with this tactic.
You cannot get promotions that are advertised by the carriers
I was hired to work for this company and HR completely botched my hiring paperwork. They claimed to have never received my I-9, W2 and W4 forms, my driver's license and Social Security Card. When I asked them what happened, they told me they didn't know what happened, and they would look into it. Apparently, the paperwork was not processed properly by HR and I decided to turn down their offer due to their lack of professionalism. I would not work for this company ever!!
All I can say is WOW! Jason at your Chillicothe, Ohio store number 2400 was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable! He got me in and out in a flash! I won t go anywhere else to get my upgrades and new phones! He broke down the savings! And showed me the benefits of switching! Highly recommended!
